Wonderful hotel! Nice location on the grand canal and the views from the rooftop bar are amazing! Highly recommend a water taxi from the train station as the walk includes so many bridges without ramps for rolling luggage (the distance is not so bad without luggage, but the up and down with several bags got old)

The staff, the rooms were exceptional. The Breakfast Bar in the morning was exceptional. There are no negatives here, this hotel deserves a 5+ rating. I'm planning another trip and this will be where I am staying

Fantastic Staff, great location with water taxi outside, near the arty side of venice. I was sick on day 2 and the manager actually walked with me to the nearest pharmacy 10 minutes away

Very accessible by water taxi to hotel front or water ferry to Marco polo stop and short walk down pier side. Lovely shutters on windows for total blackout

Lovely tiny hotel in the quiter part of Venice. It is in the best location between the Bus station and the St. Marc square. Nice staff. Simple breakfast.

Amazing staff, very friendly and willing to give advice. They have a lift which is so important when you have luggage to haul around, and the room was very neat and had a private balcony which I loved

The location of the hotel is good (20 min walk to the train station, 25 min to the bus station, 25 min to San Marco Plazza) but don't follow google maps to find the hotel, they got it wrong and you will end up far away!

The bathroom needs a bit of a renovation but other than that everything worked well and I had no problems. The staff were extremely friendly and made my solo trip very enjoyable. Breakfast was included and was good too

Good location in Cannaregio district. Lady on the reception was very helpful, we asked for help to get to Marco Polo airport and she printed the schedule of Alilaguna boats. The room we stayed in was tidy and cozy.

We stayed for 4 nights to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Really nice hotel, excellent staff especially the young lady front of house. Breakfast is continental, small but plentiful

Thanks to ot being 3 minute walk from San Marco Square, we could leave early in the morning before breakfast, go take a look around and take some pictures, and come back to eat something

We totally enjoyed breakfast every morning, which was served in the Hotel Violino D'Oro, around the corner (also where one goes to check-in). Rooms are clean, with small refrigerator and a safe

The air conditioning had been shut off and the heat was on in the room. We tried to get this rectify and the concierge gave us a fan for the duration of our stay which helped immensely

Their breakfast is very good, it is served in a nearby hotel less than a minute away. We spent our anniversary there, and received a bottle of prosecco, which was a pleasant surprise

Our experience with our stay at the Hotel Anastasia was great. The room was clean and welcoming. Our morning breakfast was in the sister hotel next door and was very enjoyable

The location of the hotel was close to San Marcos Square and the water "bus". Only negative was that our trip was in October but the weather was unseasonably warm

you can ask anything your want. one room only with air conditioner. this is Venice lots of walking stairs. if this hotel in other city I would give 1 star

An excellent hotel considering a long-standing family management, the lady anna very kind and helpful, located in a delightful Venetian square.

I recommend staying in this hotel as it is very central, very honest prices, kind and professional staff.

Basic hotel next to a busy shopping-street. Breakfast is not impressive, but otherwise a decent ordinary hotel with friendly staff and free wifi. If you plan to spend your time in the city then this will do fine

OK OK type place but a decent one as compared to average hotel in Venice. No restaurant, no room service, no help for even luggage but the staff was accomodative within their availability of services.

Clean rooms / big rooms. VERY small shower. Poor breakfast quality - bad variety, no restaurant , although kind and friendly staff.right beside the train station

Breakfast is everything you need, coffee is good, the espresso is better, room was comfortable for 3 stars, bathroom modern with a door missing but maybe its normal and a refrigerator to store drinks

Near the sea too! Place to eat outside Super recommended! Don't think twice! Our experience was the best in Italy in this rest and comfort place♡

The location is ideal to get to know venice. Room 126 You should not listen to the other bad reviews, with us everything was great

Rooms have a safe, colour TV, wardrobe, extra bed included with the double bed, air conditioning (although it wasn’t required) en-suite with toilet and Bidet, WiFi (which was rather weak down the far end of the top floor - with a propensity to drop off) and a drawer with mosquito zapping device

The Yacht Bert is a sea lovers paradise! Located in the New Marina of Saintelena, The Bert is anchored serenely in this harbor just in front of the Lido of Venice and within walking distance of the cultural attraction's of Venice! Perfect alternative to classic hotel!

Amazing Yacht!!! Can't believe you can sleep in venetian lagoon 3 vaporetto's stop away from the centre (s.Marco) and relax on a luxury yacht like this one!

Breakfast was included and was way better than expected (a little banquete). We had a lovely chat with the owner (a member of the family) who really made us feel at home

This was great value for money. A family business hotel on a yacht, with very cosy, friendly environment. Great location, near restaurants and far from any noise

The drawbridge is really narrow and does not extend all the way to the dock, so one has to jump across onto a narrow bridge which gets quite slippery at night and added bags/suitcases definitely make it challenging

While one can't beat the view while on a yatch, staying on board has its disadvantages. The room was quite clean, Breakfast provided was quite hearty. The staff were also extremely helpful and courteous

Has everything you could want from a location perspective, Gondolas on the door, on a square with restaurants and local bars within 30 seconds walk! Decor is classico with a fresco on the ceiling of the reception and a lovely private canal entrance

Staff are friendly and attentive with breakfast being prepared in houae- delicious cakes you must try! I would recommend this hotel for your stay in the beautiful city of Venice without hesitation

We stayed in a attic room for 3 nights. What a rush to stay in a old Palace with in walking distance of everything. I would highly recommend it. Not for someone who has trouble walking stairs.

Great little hotel very near San Marco

Booked a room for four people; ample space. Breakfast was standard European breakfast; strong wifi, furnishings a little pale in color, could use an update

Entrance is confusing, it's off to the side of the building in the alley

Like many other Italian locations, the bathroom smelled a little of drains (the air freshener helped, but couldn't quite cover it). The WiFi was good in one part of the room, a little spotty in the rest

It is in a good location in San Marco. A little hard to fin,d but next to an Asian restaurant. It's about a 25 minute walk from the train station. The couple that runs it are very nice

Wonderful location, half-way between San Marco and Rialto. Super-friendly couple who run the place. Decent (if a touch sweet) breakfasts - extra coffee readily available on request

The room was simply decorated but beautiful, and quite spacious. It's a little hard to find at night, but the directions from the owners are good

This hotel was absolutely AMAZING! We stayed in the canal view double room with shared bathroom and were lucky enough to even have a room with a large balcony! The bed was comfy and the shared bathroom was very clean and of a really high quality! The location is PERFECT as well - right in the thick of local cafes, restaurants and bars far enough away from the hordes of tourists, but only a lovely ...

Great location, very clean rooms (had a private bathroom) - only downside was that our neighbors were quite noisy but not the hotel's fault. Room was very spacey with a nice little balcony.

Amazing place to stay. Just a little tucked away from the busy areas, and right by some lovely small bars over the river. Genuinely worth staying here if you're in Venice

Great price for value in Venice! I stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. The view of the canal from the mixed dorm rooms is wonderful, location is quiet but accessible—and the staff were friendly enough

Cleaned daily and has a wonderful outdoor patio next to canal. Kitchen was great but I wish there were a few more small pots&pans so that more than 1 person could cook at a time

Absolutely the most amazing dinner experience in a very long time. We travel a lot and we love fine dining, but I have to say The Staff and Ambiance at Arva made memories for us that rival anything we ever done before

When I got to the hotel, the staff were extremely kind and polite and accommodating. Was given a tour of the grounds and a free welcome drink. My hotel room was so spacious, clean and really just perfect

first time visiting Venice (November 13-16) and my entire experience was nothing short of amazing. I paid for airport pick up and pre-ordered a bouquet of flowers to come with my driver upon arrival

They have a small gift shop picked up some candles (90euros altho on their website its 65 euros) they even put a Aman Venice bag charm on my suitcase for free :D I noticed it when I got home

The cocktails themselves were also excellent. We loved it so much we came back the following evening and sat in the bar upstairs. Again the ambiance, decor, and service were all stunning
