Sulaf Luxury Hotel in Amman

Food experience was unacceptable. At breakfast and dinner, the main courses were already deleted, because there was not enough to begin with. It seemed all the meals were the same selection every time. The room was barely big enough for the bed. The neighborhood was dirty and sketchy. So, unsatisfactory.

I would give this hotel zero stars if I could, DO NOT STAY HERE! Housekeeping tried to get into our room at 5am and woke us up. We told them repeatedly they had the wrong room but they kept trying to get in and started to shout at us to leave. The breakfast was a complete disaster, no clean plates or cutlery and the staff were again so rude and failed to address the problem. The rooms are nice but everything else was terrible, avoid this hotel at all costs

This place is NOT a luxury hotel. It is maybe a 3.2 star hotel.
Firstly, upon arrival, I tried to shower. The shower floor immediately filled with water and wouldn’t drain. If I would have finished washing my hair, the entire room would have flooded. I called the front, they came upstairs, didn’t say anything and walked back out.. I had to go in and test to see if it drained properly. There was then dirty shoe marks everywhere so I had to wipe the wet tiles.
It’s currently +25° here in Jordan, it is common for people to need to hydrate!!! I asked the front for another bottle of water and they said they only give out ONE bottle per day… I asked if I could pay for more and he didn’t/couldn’t answer my question?? (I’m assuming language barrier but sorry, why are you at the front desk then??).
Lastly, it is currently 12:39AM and I cannot sleep because behind the hotel is a soccer field. There is currently 12ish men PLAYING SOCCER and YELLING and I can hear them crystal clear.

Do yourself the favour and stay literally anywhere else.

I suggest the platform to blacklist this hotel. I left a canvas bag at the hotel before checking out. When I went back to get it less than ten minutes later, the bag had been turned inside out. I lost a sweatshirt in the hotel and refused to admit that it was mine. This kind of hotel is very disappointing in Jordan, where people are simple.
