RESIDENCE WAT DAMNAk Hotel1 / 25

Siem Reap, City Center, Wat Damnak Road 🧭 Map
This hotel was a gem to stay in, very close to the center of Siem Reap but far enough from the noise of the city. There are a wide range of nice restaurants around the hotel. Special mention to the staff especially Mr Him, who went above and beyond to help. The rooms are decorated in a more traditional style, however they are comfortable. The showers are a bit dated and difficult to use.
I'd highly recommend this hotel. The staff are really helpful and friendly, and the food at breakfast is tasty and varied. There's delicious, strong coffee and omelettes, so you'll leave with plenty of energy. The hotel is wonderful and swimming pools are perfect.
The location was great, a short walk from pub street. We didn’t book the room in advance, just walked in. We were lucky that they still had one room for us, albeit not the best. Our room was on the first floor right behind the reception area, it was tiny and cozy. It had a little musty smell. I assume that top floors were better. There was a small pool and simple breakfast was included. The price was...
This is located down an alley so you may have to carry your cases. Once there the staff are very friendly and helpful We had a room on the 3rd floor and would have struggled carrying the cases up. No lift. Thankfully the staff carried for us. Splurge and get one of the better rooms, we were initially showing a small damp misty smelling one. There is access to 2 pools Breakfast is served from 630 for...
Great hotel. Staff are amazing, helpful, friendly and very kind. Organised tours and bus for us. Pools are good. Great location, quiet away from the hustle and bustle but still easy 3min walk to old market area, pub street, etc. Lots of restaurants close by as well. Steps to upper floors are steep so not good if you have mobility issues, but there are ground floor rooms available.
We were there 4 nights and would have wished for 7! The rooms were spacious and clean (only thing a little bit of smell from the drain sometimes) big and comfortable shower. The pools were AMAZING, and the staff helpful in any means. The breakfast is very good - they even offer croissants. Those would even taste better with a little bit better coffee (only instant coffee available) Thanks!

This place was a super clean and relaxing haven after touring the Khmer historical ruins. The food was exceptional and so were the people. Would stay here again, partly because it was so close to Angkor Wat.
We stayed for three nights the end of January 2020. After staying in about 10 hotels over a three week period in Vietnam and Cambodia, this was my favorite hotel, large rooms and bathrooms and great shower stalls.
Nice place for those who like quiet area. Not much options in the restaurant. Polite staff.
Conveniently located between the airport, the city centre, and Angkor Wat, Green Empire resort is a wonderful place to stay. Rooms are huge, well appointed, and modern. There is a beautiful pool to relax in after a hot day touring around, and there is a nice selection of tasty local food to eat in the evenings. Breakfast is basic but enough to kick start the day. Friendly staff are very helpful and...
Clean. Great and friendly staff. Good food. Big size room. Quite location because it is a bit far from center (i like it). Staffs were able to let me use the vacant room for a quick shower after i checked out.

Amazing staff, beautiful rooms and swimming pools, good WiFi... everything was perfect!
Nice bedroom and two nice pools. But poor breakfast
Great rooms, breakfast and swimming pool.Staff were helpful and nice but they thought that I took the water from mini bar when I took it from the coach. But overall would recommend it.
Very reasonable price and good service
Very peaceful place and very excellent hospitality by all the staffs. Caring staffs as well as very pleasant service. One good thing about this hotel is they have two swimming pools and water is really good. You can have swimming before bed till 10.00 pm when you visit here. 😊
The hotel is a wonderful oasis near the centre of Siem Reap. Arriving there, we were greeted by extraordinarily friendly staff members. The service quality was the best of all hotels during our travel through Thailand and Cambodia. Our room was spacious and clean and equipped with an well-working air conditioning. The breakfast is fantastic and you can choose from a huge variety of Western as well...

The hotel is great have everything u want for a hotel but my room have a hole under the sink I that make my room full of cockroaches! I kill ten of them and still more coming out.
It is an old hotel. Does not have elevators. It is very near the busy Pub Street and night markets and old market. Rooms are adequate and cheap. Staff are very helpful. Restaurant and laundry services were not available in the hotel at the time of stay but there are nearby establishments for these.
The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It's within walking distance to pub street which is easy for us to browse for souvenirs. No elevator, but the staff are helpful to carry the luggage for us. No telephone in the room, so need to go down to the reception for any request or enquiries. Most of the staff are lack of hospitality. Overall, meh
Great location, price is decent, pool, air conditioning, free breakfast that I liked. I enjoyed my stay overall. Constructive criticisms: mildew smell in the room. Only a small opaque window (but good for sleeping)so maybe another painting in the wall to fill the empty space, no hot water (but I didn’t mind because it was so hot outside anyways). Bathroom was a bit in disrepair.
It's OK. Good breakfast. Not as high end as it thinks it is. Neat carvings in common areas.
Our room was super nice, 3 separate beds with individual mosquito protection. No hot water though. AC worked fine. I found the sheets a bit dirty.. I know they were clean but some stains remained :( Swimming pool is nice although very small for the size of the hotel. And it is quite dirty around. WiFi was pretty slow..

The rooms are nice and big and the swimming pool invites to some relaxing moments. The drinks you can buy are very cheap (a beer during happy hour is 0,5 Dollar) and the breakfast (a la carte) is ok. I want to stress that the whole staff was great. Everybody was nice and helpful. We even had drinks with them after their shift was over and chatted a bit. The staff was a great help in organizing tours...
This hotel is a paradise in Cambodia. Location - literally beside the night market and a few blocks away from Pub Street so get drunk and walk back home - this is fine! Also, 30mins bicycle ride to Angkor Wat. Place - a real paradise. The restaurant (with buffet breakfast and serves very great local dishes) is clean and cozy. There is also a pool. Outside your room, there are chairs and table where...
One of the best hotels in South East Asia. For the price paid you cannot go wrong with this hotel. The room is spacious and cosy and the bathroom is clean and nicely laid out. The pool was really nice, although quite cold! The best part was the included breakfast where they offered a menu with various options. You could also help yourself to the buffet where there were fresh fruits and bread. Overally...
A really nice and calm hotel but really close to the center. Perfect location close to the night market. The rooms are really clean and well decorated (I think one upstairs would be better). There is a tv but it wasn’t working for us. The breakfast included is really good there is a buffet (bread, fruits, salads, juice tea coffee...) and you can choose one dish from a list (rice, noodle , eggs, pancakes...
Very convenient hotel which is just 5 meters away from the night market. Staff are extremely well trained, just a few who don't smile. Might be a bad day for them. The hotel is clean and the price is good to consider for the convenience and their food is also good. Prepare your own shampoo and body wash as the ones they provide can be improved. The room is considered spacious for 2, however the...
Best hotel experience ever. Super clean room and wonderful staff. They were so helpful during my trip! If I return to SR, I'm definitely staying here again. It's quiet and calm and they make a great mojito.

They dont clean the pool so ill do the job. Reception guy is cool. Rooms are clean. This is better than Hotel Number 9 in Phnom Penh
Nice place near night market Recommend for this place
Great location. Staff are friendly and helpful. But toilet is not so good. Sound proofing is lacking also. Overall still a great place to stay at.
Good value for money. Facilities are good, room and bathroom big enough. Breakfast also very good, not many options but good quality. Location is really good and central but road in front of hotel is in super bad condition so when it rains is like a pond.

Very friendly staff and a value-for-money hotel. It is further away from the city centre than other hotels. Ample facilities and a decent breakfast for a 3-star hotel. My safety box refused to open on our third day, for unknown reasons. Hotel was slow to resolve it, even eating up into some of my tour time.
Good hotel on the national road 6. Good prices and services

One of my friend's found this place from a blog and we couldn't have been more impressed with everything this hotel had to offer. It started with our hotel transport (tuk tuk) that came to find us after we took a sketchy bus tour in and ended up in a random alley in the city. Our tuk tuk driver rode down every street until he found us. We were then taken to the hotel and given cool towels and a...
Loved this little hotel/inn, so glad we stayed here in my second visit to Siem Reap. Airport pickup was seamless and friendly, as was check in. Room (Deluxe King) was fantastic and cheap, nice big bed, mosquito net, AC, fridge, safe, big shower (hot water was hit or miss) and solid wifi (I could FaceTime my family on Christmas!). Any issues we just called the front desk and they were attentive in...
Golden Mango in is a hotel that will guarantee your entire visit to Siem Reap is seamless. They have attentive staff, whom all speak fluent English, along with rooms that are very estecially pleasing. Plus a huge comfy bed and tons of English language tv channels (Cnn,BBC, nat geo, and soccer and UFC as well). There is a pool that is on the side of the hotel with super comfortable tanning chairs. ...

Nice place to stay at Siem Reap. It is not far from Night Market. The hotel's room is clean and equipped with a new TV that you can watch a lot of tv channel. Hotel provides free breakfast. The food is delicious. Staffs are so friendly. On the other hand, on the top roof of the hotel has pool that you can swim and bar that you can enjoy food and drink.
Wonderful place to stay. We stayed 4 nights and would recommend this hotel to everyone. The staff were so professional, friendly and helpful. They upgraded our room for no charge. The hotel is new and very clean. Lots of amenities and a perfect location to walk to down town and the night market. Easy place to get a tuk tuk if needed. It's an unassuming looking hotel but don't let that fool you...
Cleanliness could be improved and some room, especially suites, need more forniture. Even if they still have to improve something, my experience there was great. Good location, WiFi free, great breakfast and friendly staff are their main features. The rooftop pool is really nice.
New and nice hotel. Some rooms require additional furnitures. Breakfast is very good in a nice rooftop room close to the swimming pool. You can have your food sitting on the top floor terrace. I suggest this place for a long stay, not only for a touch and go for the temples. You'll enjoy your time in room too.

The price and the looks of the rooms were nice but the internet sucked. Each floor has a different router to connect on but good luck actually getting a connection. The front desk did say they were having issues with the internet so hopefully they can get it resolved fairly quickly. They have a restaurant attached to the hotel which had good food at decent prices.
I used to stay in this hotel for 2 times, normally 1-2 nights. The wifi signal on 2nd floor is not stable, it always disconnect after use I5-20 min. Over all are so so, the rate for double room is 15 USD/night exclude ABF. But just + USD 3 to include ABF that's reasonable price.
Good hotel to stay, very close to the restaurants and on the main road. A few room on 3rd floor need to do some decoration.
This place is an resonable price room services. There are many rooms that are always available. Rooms are cleaned. Rooms are not so nice, but there are enought accessories. There is a big space restaurant that serve Khmer and Eroupean food as breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A big space front hotel where is the parking. It's along national road number 7th. We stayed there for a few days. The hotel is beautiful! Excellent breakfast, courteous staff. Centrally located, you can easily walk to places. We have such wonderful memories.
Staff was nice, but not helpful at times. Pur AC remote was broken and they said they're gonna look into it, but never did. When I asked for extra blanket though, because I was freezing at night because of the said AC, they helped me instantly. Our fridge also didn't work. The place looked nice. But don't get a room facing the street or the next door club if you're a lightsleeper. You won't be able...
I really liked this place for the price. It's certainly not a 5 star hotel, but the staff is very nice, the breakfast is pretty good, and the price and location are pretty great. There are probably things that you can nitpick over, but if you're looking for a decent place to sleep that doesn't break the bank, this is a solid choice. It's less than a 10 minute walk to pub street, if that's your thing...
what can I say... those complaining about anything are clinging onto little things. Rooms are amazing as the beautiful hotel itself, with a dog and cat playing around. Breakfast is set outside and is wonderful, so is the pool area. Helpful staff and good prices, what more can one want :)
I feel like my house here. The view outside is natural. And, it looks nice and clean inside.
Very friendly staff, rooms are clean and comfortable. Room service is done every day, the garden is very beautiful and the pool is really luxurious!

Located in the heart of the city, this hotel is just a short walk from Pub Street and local markets. There are several vegetarian (Indian) restaurants nearby, making dining convenient. Nice, accessible, clean hotel in a location close to the Night Market and Pub Street which is a collection of bars and restaurants. Some play music too loud so not everyone's choice. Easy to get around, loads of taxis or other transportation options for excursion to Angkorwat Temples. Hotel staff are friendly and professional and so are the locals. Feels very safe at night
Good location, spacious room with basic facilities needed for guests. Swimming is basic but better than nothing. Staff very friendly n accountable. Lobby well designed with a good vibe of wood. This was the most expensive hotel I booked while I was in Southeast Asia, but the it felt like the cheapest. The staff were good and very nice and that's why it gets two stars instead of 1.
