Empress Residence Resort and Spa

Amazing rooms, really spacious, neat and clean. The decor and aesthetics of the hotel is so good that half the satisfaction is driven by living in such a beautiful property. Wood carvings, beautiful swimming pool and extreme care to details.

This hotel and its lovely staff made our stay in Cambodia truly comfortable. The service was way above anything we saw in the last two weeks of our travel in Vietnam and Cambodia. The staff, under the able guidance of the front desk manager Mr Sarik, conducted themselves in an admirable fashion. They were ALWAYS polite, and very willing to help with any queries. Others such as the Asst manager Mr Souen, and Mary at the reception were ever ready to offer all assistance. In the dining hall, the manager Mr Rim Magn, and Rothvathy were extremely pleasant at all times. Indeed all the staff in the restaurant were truly guest-friendly, and made each breakfast session extremely enjoyable.
The rooms are spacious and squeaky clean, but for me, a few more bags of tea and some milk (coffeemate would have been good enough!), and larger bottles of water would have merited a 5 star rating. But that was a minor issue, as the staff were always ready to help. All in all, the hotel is very good, but the goodness and quiet efficiency of the staff make this hotel a great one. I have no doubt we will choose this hotel again on our next trip. Will strongly recommend this hotel to all my friends and travel groups. One other thing: given the Indian influence and the number of tourists from the Indian Subcontinent, I think it is only fair that there should be a clock showing the current time in India - along with so many other countries that find mention on the wall near the main lifts.

We had a lovely stay at the Empress Angkor. The room was very spacious, with a balcony overlooking the impressive pool area.However, the bathroom needs renovation, especially for a 5-star hotel! The breakfast buffet is quite wonderful. The staff is helpful, yet some might be better groomed.

I stayed at this hotel with a friend on a tour. The air-conditioning in our room was not going below 28°c, and we asked for it to be checked. After checking we were moved to another room which was great. The internet was intermittent but this seemed to be across Siem Reip, not just our hotel.
My friend was unwell and staff assisted her to our room and often checked on us. Cambodia is a beautiful country, and has still not recover after COVID. Travellers are minimal here which is such a shame for the country and especially the staff.
I cannot recommend the staff enough! The staff are very attentive and caring. A huge special thankyou to Samoun, Tha and Vanna for their exceptional welcome, warmth and care during our stay.

I had my eye on this beautiful hotel for quite some time now. The outside is just as beautiful as the inside. It is very well kept in a quiet area. The palm trees are very beautiful, along with the Buddha and elephant statues out front. The chandeliers are beautiful inside and the one staff who helped me check-in was very nice. The room was spacious with a beautiful balcony outlooking onto the huge swimming pool area. Palm trees lined out there are beautiful as well. It was perfect for me and I am glad I got to go there and have the experience I wanted.
