Bridge Hotel in Riga

Here’s whats good about this hotel - it’s cheap. Everything else you can think of is terrible. Way too small towels, no elevator despite it being 5 floors, noise inside and around the hotel late at night, no ac, roaming Russian gangs who may or may not attack you, doors and doorlocks in desperate need of repair, metal keys instead of a card… i could go on. But its cheap and i suppose you get what you pay for. If you choose to stay in this hotel i would definitely recommend using a car to move about, for pedestrians its a miserable experience no matter which direction you are trying to go.

The information and the photos advertised on the websites couldn't be more misleading. Aside from the fact that there were a handful of deceased bugs on the walls and ceiling of the room, the beds looked already slept-in and the room looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned since they invented dusters and vaccuum cleaners. The neighbourhood also felt very unsafe and loud. There was absolutely no air in the room, and the window could not be opened due to the fact that the room was on the first floor. We had people with breathing issues and dust allergies, and when we explained the situation to the admin there, they did not do anything and said that there was no way to change the room. In addition, the furniture was half-broken and wobbly, the beds were dusty, and the place ran out of toilet paper which they didn’t restock until hours later.

It's a disgrace, the rooms are disgusting, the kitchen is very dirty, don't ever go there

The place is very dirty, dust all round and killed bugs on walls in the room. The wardrobe smells bad enough to put your clothes in. No hand soap, just two 10ml packs of body wash. It's a regular 1star hotel and that's that.
