Riga, Elizabetes iela 55 🧭 Map
Let's come clean, not everything was bad at all. I liked tasty breakfast, minimalistic style of hotel rooms, presence of iron in every single room and a settlement of hotel and thus a nice views. The first problem was a horrible functionality of elevators. It's not normal to wait for "your ride" more like 10 minutes. Had to use fire escape stairs several times on my way down from 12th floor. Another...
Very average experience. Reception staff was impolite, lacking in manners. Shower had an empty shower gel container (as we had a big group with several rooms booked, others also reported the same). Trash bin was not emptied. In addition, rooms are old with signs of wear, though it does not affect the rating. Also, found out that I qualified for spa centre based on my room selection, had I known that...
The rooftop bar has great views and is worth visiting. However, it was a bit awkward when the waiter gave us the menu, and we found that the food options were limited and not suitable for us. After sitting for just 5 minutes, we awkwardly returned the menu and left to find another restaurant. The waiter was very friendly.
I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel and had a mostly positive experience. The location is fantastic, being close to the old town, major tourist attractions, and a variety of restaurants. The highlight of the hotel is the Sky Lounge on the 26th floor, which offers stunning 360-degree views of the city. I highly recommend visiting at sunset and for night views – it’s incredible. The hotel also...
Average experience and some alarming practices that make me confident in saying we won't be returning. As for the stay - everything was fairly average. Rooms and halls are starting to show their age. There are some weird and uncomfortable solutions probably because of the age of the building as well, like having to change elevators or being asked to not wear bathrobes on the way to the SPA because...
Modern style! Very good breakfast, has chef omlete stand and a lot of choice available. Nice and clean rooms. The best view of the old city.

The places is perfect to get to old town easily. Breakfast was great. The room was clean and neat. And there was even pool table on one of the floors. 5/5. Though some people might have an issue with the sounds coming from the corridor since it isn’t very isolated. For me it was’t an issue.
We stayed for two nights with breakfast included, which was excellent – a wide selection and very tasty. We had a superior room with a view, but the windows were either fogged up or frozen, making it impossible to see through them. The room itself was not modern and needed renovation, but it was clean. Also the radiator in the room could not heat the space - it was cold. The bed was super comfortable...
The rooms have huge windows and paper thin radiators. Thus the rooms are not heated enough. We were very cold during the night I had to put my jacket on the duvet. Maybe the locals are used to sleep in such cold rooms but I was not satisfied at all. Also the room door doesnt have insulation so if there is noise in the corridor you can easily hear it in your room. The room was very spacious and had...
Everything was wonderful — the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was attentive. The hotel is pet-friendly, which is always a big advantage for us, as we are travelling with our child and dog. The only small remark is that the bathroom seemed a bit dated for a Radisson-level hotel. Overall, we were happy with our experience and would gladly stay here again. Thank you for the pleasant hospitality
The room view is perfect if you have taken a river view option and the breakfast was decent as well ! 15 min walk to the old city, Transport options are available as well with bus no 22 as an option if you are going to the airport which is 5 min walking distance. Old style Rooms which can be much better as a brand but overall quite satisfied with my stay and will surely be visiting this place if I...

The location is excellent, a short walk to the main attractions of Riga. The staff were friendly and the hotel offers free drinking fountains, which is excellent. The hotel doesn't feel like a 5 star, more like a 2 or 3 star. Our room was quite basic, our coffees were not restocked throughout our stay, we could hear people walking in the room above us quite loudly, which was quite disturbing, the...
Our stay was very comfortable and really enjoyable, we felt really welcomed. The check - in and check - out was easy and smooth. A group booking was very successful and smooth with this Hotel. A special thank you for Agnese who was really patient with any changes, gave us advice which hotel to chose for a big group and also helped with every process including rooms, spa, dinner and breakfast bookings...
Overall, in my opinion this is a nice hotel. Although, there are certain aspects which I think need to be improved to consider this as 5 star hotel. We stayed in room 3303, which was in the other building. The room was modern, although the layout of the room was annoying as the entrance door was slanted which would hit against the bathroom door. There is also nothing separating random people entering...
Amazing hotel! Rooms are modern and the wheelchair access room is really functional. The included breakfast is the best hotel buffet I’ve been too! The staff were lovely and helpful too. Great features like a a microwave in reception for guest use and a bar in room which is well priced. In a brilliant central location too!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room faced the river on the 6th floor and even with a busy road, there was no noise. The room was well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was busy but great. Some nice Baltic offerings, pickled fish etc. We had two trips to the spa, one complimentary and one paid for. It's a lovely spa, very relaxing. I heartily recommend it!
Three of us checked in. I asked for the biggest room and a nice view since I'm staying a day longer than my colleagues. Unfortunately, I received a room with a view into a wall, which is okay. What's not okay is that I ended up with the smallest room among us, with a desk half the size of those in the other rooms, and the only one with a bathroom featuring a small shower, while the others have showers...

Hotel was quiet even though our room was directly above a very busy street. Everything was clean. Personnel was very professional and polite. Drink menu in lobbybar is versatile. Food in restaurant Elements is delicious and presentation is beautiful.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful (everyone from the bar, restaurant and to the cleaning). The room was perfect, especially the beds and pillows - beautifully decorated. Breakfast was really good and had a lot of choices. The location was excellent, close to everything. Over all it was the perfect stay for us and we would like to return one day
Every time we visited Riga, we always stay in this hotel. The room are nice, clean & spacious. Member of staff was pleasant & polite. We had an issue with broadband, so they fixed immediately. Cleaners are polite too. The room was warm, the bed was so comfy so I felt like I sleep in my own bed. Breakfast could be a bit better as I’m a raw vegan & I didn’t have much to eat apart of bowl of fruits. Would...
Nice and well equipped rooms with comfortable beds and great bathroom. Cleaning service everyday. Bar lounge is open until 1:00 AM. Breakfast are very generous with a wide variety of food and drinks. Best location - Riga's center, Old town. In wintertime - for travellers with car warm parking under hotel👍Best breakfast in Riga, highly recommended 🥇
Breakfast service not good - there was special area for ice hookey team without any signs that its restricted area for other persons to have breakfast. Because of that i was transfered to correct place only after few try of help from responsible person. It was very uncomfortable.
I was very happy to try it out. Bed was cosy. Bathroom was clean and all necessary stuff was there. Breakfast was delicious, probably food could be even better after pandemic. I would love to stay there even more times.
Lovely hotel. Every possible requirement catered for in the rooms, which were so clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast even in times of Covid. Staff all very friendly and most helpful. Would definitely stay at this hotel again should the opportunity arise. Many thanks for everything.
Great hotel! City center, great view from Windows to Old Riga . Great Breakfast, wide selection for Breakfast, beautiful setting. Individually offered to bake the perfect omelette! I will choose this hotel next visit!
A very good hotel. It is a pity that the normal prices are rare. Bar - so-so. But the prices in Montmartre.

Lovely hotel, decorated in the spirit of "Einstein", with all sorts of unusual fishechkami and quotes of the great scientist, but now is on renovation.
Nice hotel on the top floor excellent view of the restaurant. There is a Parking. It is a pity that there is no safe. Rooms a modicum of shovels, but clean it Riga comfortable. Notice the two invalids in parking? Or maybe VW and Citroën has some new electric cars on the market 🤔 So despite few simple people the hotel is nice and there are two Type 2 charging places for hotel guests with 15 € unlimited charging. Hotel was clean, family room was spacious with tub and breakfast had nice variety and even sparkling wine 🥂
Stayed in the hotel room was clean but no tidy hanging space for dresses only trousers and shirts. Breakfast had a good variety of things to eat. Pleasant staff Safety announcement only in Latvian as we were on the 9th floor and something had gone wrong with the lifts there was a lots of noise we did not know what was happening it was quite stressful
This is not a four-star hotel, but very functional and very good value for money. Good breakfast (except the coffee) for just a few euros if you take it togeather with the booking. The hotel is on the way from the airport if you take bus 22, some 6 min walk from the bus stop. Good if you land in Riga late. To get to the city center you take a few stops by tram.
The hotel is in a good location. It has a SPA which needs to be reserved before going there and costs 10€ per person for 1,5h. Breakfast was good as well.
Nice and clean hotel. Nice bar and very good breakfast. But smoking is allowed by the entrance and besides the outdoor seating area, so no fresher air inside, than outside due to smokers..... ☹️
The hotel is in good location of you like to live near the nature, but the same time in a walking distance from the old town. It has a mini SPA which needs to be reserved before going there and costs 10€ per person for 1,5h. Breakfast was good as well.

My husband and I were there last weekend and we loved it! Everything was 5*, from check in to check out, just amazing. Very kind staff, the receptionist was very helpful! Beautiful big rooms, beautiful building, great SPA! The breakfast was one of the best ever with champagne served, the pastry section was amazing. We just loved everything about this hotel!
Splendid hotel in a perfect central area of Riga, with excellent service. We loved it - the decor and quality of all amenities such as the bed and bedding, bathroom, room size, and the common areas of the hotel. The spa area was out of this world! Bonus of an excellent breakfast with a wealth of choice of fresh tasty foods.
My wife and I stayed at the Grand Poet by Semarah Hotels and checked out earlier today. Our experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Brilliant 5 course breakfasts inclusive in a medium sized local Spa hotel right in the centre of Riga. 10 minute walk to trains or buses or to many reasonable restaurants and the spectacular sights of the old city. Riga is a smorgasbord of culture, food and architectural history and this is the very reasonably priced perfect place to stay.
I would expect a bit more from a 4-star hotel: The air conditioning in the room is very weak and couldn't effectively cool the room even at an outside temperature of 25-26°C. The ventilation system is loud and cannot be turned off, so we could only sleep with earplugs. The minibar (small refrigerator) is not cold, maintaining a temperature of around 10-15°C, so if you buy yogurt or other perishable...

Cute modern hotel in a great spot in the old town. Rooms very clean and the staff super friendly and accommodating. I haven't tried their spa services but they looked great and in good prices.
Clean and nice room. The breakfast was good and whit quite good selection. Dear Dmitrijs, thank you for acknowledging the review I wrote. However, the answer seems to be quite automatic, because you didn't take a stand on why your service only got three points. However, service is the lifeblood of the hotel industry. Have a nice day 😃

Did not use SPA, but in place. Parking under hotel is in place, small amount of parking lots ~20-30max. Old town, location very good!

Great location in the middle of the old town and around the corner from many great restaurants and bars, also very close to public transport and a very quick walk to the bus to the airport. One undesired point: The room was quite cold and the air conditioning did not work when I turned it into heating mode. And maybe the hotel administration can employ a staff member at the bar after 23.00 o'clock to help guests who enjoy spending time there...
Standard IBIS hotel. You get what you pay for and for 50€ a night you shouldn't expect much. Small room, nice shower, clean enough for just sleeping over for a few days. Reception was very helpful and location is ideal for train station, buses to the airport and the old town. Would stay again.

We were happy we were upgraded to a superior room. And it was really spacious for me and my friend who needed wheelchair accessibility. The toilet was huge. The breakfast buffet was great - love the bacons. I also love the herrings and the cake...but there are lots of dishes to enjoy. Parking is free.
We spent three nights at the hotel, in three different rooms and I can say that it's a good hotel with great location near the old town. On the top there is a restaurant with stunning view of the river and old town. It's so romantic. The hotel rooms are comfortable and clear.
A very good place to stay in Riga, and feels like becomes a tradition to stay at this hotel, twice so far.. To clarify - breakfast is good and stuff is friendly. Forgot my sneakers last time there 😂, then I've contacted the reception and (woww) in few days my Nike was on it's way back!!
Good breakfast buffet. Free parking. Good location if you are willing to walk about 1k across the bridge to get to old town. Good public transportation options only .1k away. Decent rooms with a view if you are high enough to be above the obstructions and are on the river side. Good A/C which can be a factor with the more than occasional heat wave. Not sure why but the heated towel rack is always...
The mattresses and pillows were horrible . Definitely not a 4 star hotel . Breakfast was nice. Bathroom was quite good , very spacious. However I wouldn’t stay again there because of the very worn out mattresses .
It's my second day staying at the hotel and know my impressions are positive, the room on the eighth floor is quiet with a very good view of the river , the old town and the parks . The mattress was very good and we asked for second pillows and they were given to us immediately. We came at night and the reception served us immediately. The breakfast, even though there were a lot of people, we were...

A beautiful boutique hotel. One of the brightest and most atmospheric conference rooms in Riga on the top floor.
Wonderful and perfect. Great for business services and lovely for families and holidays. Deserves is praise.
Very tasteful house. Beautiful, large rooms. Good Service. Location close to the city centre. Breakfast could be lush.
Fantastic service. Spacious rooms. €20 parking per day with in/out privilege, which I think is about the same as anywhere else. Haven't eaten at restaurant, but supposed to be quite good. Probably one of the best hotels in Riga. Might get PIN points as a Air Baltic flyer as I saw that on the registration form?
Stayed in this hotel for the first time on the advice of a friend. Appearance of hotel is nice inside too, everything is beautiful, there is a place to unload the car, carry things in the room. Secure Parking just steps away. The room is spacious, everything you need is there. The Windows facing the street with local boutiques, on the weekends it's fair of farm produce and goods. Good restaurant a...

Furniture in the hotel could use a refresh and it was rather cold in the rooms. They provided us with an electric heater so we could endure the temperature. Breakfast was decent, although it was the same everyday.
Had a pleasant stay at MONIKA. Room was quite large and clean. Mostly quiet environment. Only a 15 minute walk from the old town. Breakfast buffet is delicious and you’ve got a lot to choose from. Staff was really nice too.
We were pleasantly surprised by our visit. Obviously, things could be improved on, but it's a solid 3* hotel. Outdated, but the staff are friendly, and everything is clean and well presented. Good breakfast and a great location. The rooms were spacious, and the hitel had a cosy feeling.
It is okay!). Breakfast was good. Location is " more or less". Room is good, not big, but view on the street is interesting. There is white bathrobe and slippers. Taxi they offer is a bit too expensive..better order on yourself something else:)) Hotel itself is beautiful creates lovely atmosphere.
Great base for exploring riga. Not in the old town but 20 min walk. Near to the art deco and central area of riga which have amazing restaurants. Great breakfast so much choice. Room smelled a bit musty but has everything you need, balcony and spacious bathroom. Would recommend, great value for money
A very nice hotel, conveniently situated close to the city centre and the old town. It is located in a beautiful historical building and the interiors are beautiful as well. My only complaint would be that the rooms' equipment is a bit old fashioned but that is not necessarily a bad thing I suppose.
