The rooftop bar has great views and is worth visiting. However, it was a bit awkward when the waiter gave us the menu, and we found that the food options were limited and not suitable for us. Everything was wonderful — the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was attentive. The hotel is pet-friendly, which is always a big advantage for us, as we are travelling with our child and dog. Stayed in the hotel room was clean but no tidy hanging space for dresses only trousers and shirts. Breakfast had a good variety of things to eat. This is not a four-star hotel, but very functional and very good value for money. Good breakfast (except the coffee) for just a few euros if you take it togeather with the booking. The hotel is on the way from the airport if you take bus 22, some 6 min walk from the bus stop. Good if you land in Riga late. To get to the city center you take a few stops by tram.

My husband and I were there last weekend and we loved it! Everything was 5*, from check in to check out, just amazing. Very kind staff, the receptionist was very helpful! Brilliant 5 course breakfasts inclusive in a medium sized local Spa hotel right in the centre of Riga. 10 minute walk to trains or buses or to many reasonable restaurants and the spectacular sights of the old city. Riga is a smorgasbord of culture, food and architectural history and this is the very reasonably priced perfect place to stay.

I would expect a bit more from a 4-star hotel: The air conditioning in the room is very weak and couldn't effectively cool the room even at an outside temperature of 25-26°C. The hotel has serious maintenance and construction problems. It also has a rather small for its size dining - breakfast hall and this is exacerbated by the fact that the hotel works mainly with groups eating all together. Unfortunately I have to say that the room stunk! The bathroom/toilet didn’t have an outside window, wouldn’t have been an issue had the drains for this room not had a foul odour. You couldn’t leave the door open to ‘air’, because then your room would’ve smelt. Close to Spice mall - which has a post office, clothing stores, restaurants, grocery stores etc. Not too far from the airport or from Riga. Easy distance to take the bus or train too if you need to use public transport for your travels.
