Where to stay in Riga

Checked in very late at 0300. Staff was available and was very happy to see a nice and clean room before me. The room was a good size, and very clean. The bathroom was spotless and the bed had no hair or anything. Great location to old town, within walking distance of everything. We booked two adjacent rooms for our family of five (two adults, three kids). It was helpful that the rooms were next to each other, but they were not connecting. The forth night staying here given its strategic location: 5 minute walk to the bus terminal, 5 minute walk to the bus #22 to airport, while along the river and immediately into the old town. Good breakfast choices that all I need.

I didn't stay here but just came gor the spa. €15/p.p for 1.5 hours. They had 2 tubs with jets each one was 34°c. They also had a steam room with aroma therapy it was 45°c and a very hot sauna at 80°c. It was clean and had lockable lockers and 2 showers. I enjoyed myself and would recommend.

The breakfast was very poor, the room was full of trash when I checked in, there were no slippers or a robe and they weren’t given to me when I asked, there were no toiletries in the room except for a shower cap and shampoo.

The best hotel on the Baltic Sea trip, almost the same as domestic five-star hotels. Other European five-star hotels are Home Inn. I was also shocked to see noodles and dumplings for breakfast.

It’s a bit outside of the Riga downtown so the benefit for it is free parking!!! And you can see the view of Riga old town from another side of shore~ Dining area is spacious & comfortable, the attitude of service is so friendly, 10 euro of spa for 1.5 hours sounds interesting (no time to use it🥲), anyway, it would be a great choice if you drive to Riga~

Notice the two invalids in parking? Or maybe VW and Citroën has some new electric cars on the market 🤔 So despite few simple people the hotel is nice and there are two Type 2 charging places for hotel guests with 15 € unlimited charging. Underwhelming. The general hotel is nice but the rooms are quite modest and the housekeeping service was spotty — no soap in the shower, missed service one day of two. Located across from a nice park but not near the old town. From desk staff were the highlight though — very nice and friendly.

Amazing hotel in the center of Riga’s old town. You can walk anywhere from the hotel. Very quiet and clean. The staff is very friendly.

Cheap and easy, but it shows. TV had been removed, very uncomfortable chair at the desk, and the desk was very small and completely full of the coffee supplies and glasses. Had to put everything in the closet so I could use the desk. Bathroom smelt like sewage.

The hotel is in a very good location. Small, quiet street very close to the old town. Staff very efficient and friendly. Rooms rather small but not too small to feel comfortable. Old style bathroom and there are certainly people who will complain about this. Price per room moderate, and on top of that the hotel provides an airport shuttle!

Fine for a couple of nights It was all right. The room keys are in a safe of which you get a code and take your keys, among all the other guests keys. But ours wasn't there so had to call them and they called the cleaning lady and she came down and got our keys

While the view is really nice, in autumn this hotel is almost non-functional: for the breakfasts it served packages of dry food instead the breakfasts, and despite formally it provides access to the internet, at least in some rooms it is non-accessible. Not suitable for the work at all. I hope they will get better.

First impression - very arrogant and rude the only female receptionist - damaging reputation of the hotel instantly. I truly hope she gets fired one day. Secondly - poor Wi-Fi. But the rooms are decent, clean and nice overall. I would give 5 stars if would not be demonised by that female receptionist who gave me horrible mood for the rest of the day. Oh - no breakfast.

A wonderful place to stay in Riga, Latvia. It's, however, not the place for nightlife lovers - too far from the city centre.

Standard property. 30min from center by bus, buses run 20 min intervals. Expensive for what was essentially a room with private bathroom.

Very good small hotel. Clean and comfortable room. Responsive and accommodative staff. Shopping center with restaurants nearby is a plus. A little bit far from the city center (15 min by a bus), but the transfer is easy if you buy bus tickets ahead (there is no way to pay for transportation nearby or online).

At this price point, it’s an excellent choice for a short stay. I especially appreciated the receptionist Alyona who helped in a moment of difficulty. The rooms are equipped with almost everything that’s necessary and, if not, you can ask the front desk.

Hilton would be my favorite choice while traveling, and the Riga branch is fantastic which located in the heart of the delicate old town, it’s walking distance to most of the landmarks of Riga, and the environment of the hotel is undoubtedly comfortable with reasonable rate, love it!!!

Staff are friendly and forthcoming. Rooms are well cleaned and tidy. I asked to change the room, because the aircon seemed a bit noisy, and got it changed immediately, no questions asked, to a quieter room. The breakfast was excellent, too -- with some Latvian dishes, e.g. "shproty" (sprat).

The staff was very helpful and courteous. Breakfast is included and was satisfying. Room was somewhat spartan but the bed was very comfortable. I like the neighborhood surrounding the hotel.

I recommend not to choose the rooms on the right side of the entrance starting with numbers 4 and 5. They are different, more modest than those in the hotel photos. The beds were comfortable though. In the evening only cold water flowed. A bonus is the wide breakfast buffet.

Only minus is that there were not elevator.

A lovely hotel - stories of noise from the tram are greatly exaggerated unless you’ve very sensitive hearing! Shame the restaurant and bar are closed every Sunday and Monday as sometimes you just don’t want to have to go out and explore.

Very cozy hotel. Rooms were stylish and comftorable and so was the whole hotel. Breakfast was very tasty. Only missing thing was restaurant, there was only bar offering sandwitches and salads. Luckily the location was so good that we found great restaurant nearby. Deffinately we will go back there when visiting amazing Riga again!
