Riga, Elizabetes iela 55 🧭 Map
Let's come clean, not everything was bad at all. I liked tasty breakfast, minimalistic style of hotel rooms, presence of iron in every single room and a settlement of hotel and thus a nice views. The first problem was a horrible functionality of elevators. It's not normal to wait for "your ride" more like 10 minutes. Had to use fire escape stairs several times on my way down from 12th floor. Another...
Very average experience. Reception staff was impolite, lacking in manners. Shower had an empty shower gel container (as we had a big group with several rooms booked, others also reported the same). Trash bin was not emptied. In addition, rooms are old with signs of wear, though it does not affect the rating. Also, found out that I qualified for spa centre based on my room selection, had I known that...
The rooftop bar has great views and is worth visiting. However, it was a bit awkward when the waiter gave us the menu, and we found that the food options were limited and not suitable for us. After sitting for just 5 minutes, we awkwardly returned the menu and left to find another restaurant. The waiter was very friendly.
I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel and had a mostly positive experience. The location is fantastic, being close to the old town, major tourist attractions, and a variety of restaurants. The highlight of the hotel is the Sky Lounge on the 26th floor, which offers stunning 360-degree views of the city. I highly recommend visiting at sunset and for night views – it’s incredible. The hotel also...
Average experience and some alarming practices that make me confident in saying we won't be returning. As for the stay - everything was fairly average. Rooms and halls are starting to show their age. There are some weird and uncomfortable solutions probably because of the age of the building as well, like having to change elevators or being asked to not wear bathrobes on the way to the SPA because...
Modern style! Very good breakfast, has chef omlete stand and a lot of choice available. Nice and clean rooms. The best view of the old city.

The places is perfect to get to old town easily. Breakfast was great. The room was clean and neat. And there was even pool table on one of the floors. 5/5. Though some people might have an issue with the sounds coming from the corridor since it isn’t very isolated. For me it was’t an issue.
We stayed for two nights with breakfast included, which was excellent – a wide selection and very tasty. We had a superior room with a view, but the windows were either fogged up or frozen, making it impossible to see through them. The room itself was not modern and needed renovation, but it was clean. Also the radiator in the room could not heat the space - it was cold. The bed was super comfortable...
The rooms have huge windows and paper thin radiators. Thus the rooms are not heated enough. We were very cold during the night I had to put my jacket on the duvet. Maybe the locals are used to sleep in such cold rooms but I was not satisfied at all. Also the room door doesnt have insulation so if there is noise in the corridor you can easily hear it in your room. The room was very spacious and had...
Everything was wonderful — the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was attentive. The hotel is pet-friendly, which is always a big advantage for us, as we are travelling with our child and dog. The only small remark is that the bathroom seemed a bit dated for a Radisson-level hotel. Overall, we were happy with our experience and would gladly stay here again. Thank you for the pleasant hospitality
The room view is perfect if you have taken a river view option and the breakfast was decent as well ! 15 min walk to the old city, Transport options are available as well with bus no 22 as an option if you are going to the airport which is 5 min walking distance. Old style Rooms which can be much better as a brand but overall quite satisfied with my stay and will surely be visiting this place if I...

The location is excellent, a short walk to the main attractions of Riga. The staff were friendly and the hotel offers free drinking fountains, which is excellent. The hotel doesn't feel like a 5 star, more like a 2 or 3 star. Our room was quite basic, our coffees were not restocked throughout our stay, we could hear people walking in the room above us quite loudly, which was quite disturbing, the...
Our stay was very comfortable and really enjoyable, we felt really welcomed. The check - in and check - out was easy and smooth. A group booking was very successful and smooth with this Hotel. A special thank you for Agnese who was really patient with any changes, gave us advice which hotel to chose for a big group and also helped with every process including rooms, spa, dinner and breakfast bookings...
Overall, in my opinion this is a nice hotel. Although, there are certain aspects which I think need to be improved to consider this as 5 star hotel. We stayed in room 3303, which was in the other building. The room was modern, although the layout of the room was annoying as the entrance door was slanted which would hit against the bathroom door. There is also nothing separating random people entering...
Amazing hotel! Rooms are modern and the wheelchair access room is really functional. The included breakfast is the best hotel buffet I’ve been too! The staff were lovely and helpful too. Great features like a a microwave in reception for guest use and a bar in room which is well priced. In a brilliant central location too!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room faced the river on the 6th floor and even with a busy road, there was no noise. The room was well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was busy but great. Some nice Baltic offerings, pickled fish etc. We had two trips to the spa, one complimentary and one paid for. It's a lovely spa, very relaxing. I heartily recommend it!
Three of us checked in. I asked for the biggest room and a nice view since I'm staying a day longer than my colleagues. Unfortunately, I received a room with a view into a wall, which is okay. What's not okay is that I ended up with the smallest room among us, with a desk half the size of those in the other rooms, and the only one with a bathroom featuring a small shower, while the others have showers...

Hotel was quiet even though our room was directly above a very busy street. Everything was clean. Personnel was very professional and polite. Drink menu in lobbybar is versatile. Food in restaurant Elements is delicious and presentation is beautiful.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful (everyone from the bar, restaurant and to the cleaning). The room was perfect, especially the beds and pillows - beautifully decorated. Breakfast was really good and had a lot of choices. The location was excellent, close to everything. Over all it was the perfect stay for us and we would like to return one day
Every time we visited Riga, we always stay in this hotel. The room are nice, clean & spacious. Member of staff was pleasant & polite. We had an issue with broadband, so they fixed immediately. Cleaners are polite too. The room was warm, the bed was so comfy so I felt like I sleep in my own bed. Breakfast could be a bit better as I’m a raw vegan & I didn’t have much to eat apart of bowl of fruits. Would...
Nice and well equipped rooms with comfortable beds and great bathroom. Cleaning service everyday. Bar lounge is open until 1:00 AM. Breakfast are very generous with a wide variety of food and drinks. Notice the two invalids in parking? Or maybe VW and Citroën has some new electric cars on the market 🤔 So despite few simple people the hotel is nice and there are two Type 2 charging places for hotel guests with 15 € unlimited charging. Hotel was clean, family room was spacious with tub and breakfast had nice variety and even sparkling wine 🥂
Stayed in the hotel room was clean but no tidy hanging space for dresses only trousers and shirts. Breakfast had a good variety of things to eat. Pleasant staff Safety announcement only in Latvian as we were on the 9th floor and something had gone wrong with the lifts there was a lots of noise we did not know what was happening it was quite stressful
This is not a four-star hotel, but very functional and very good value for money. Good breakfast (except the coffee) for just a few euros if you take it togeather with the booking. The hotel is on the way from the airport if you take bus 22, some 6 min walk from the bus stop. Good if you land in Riga late. To get to the city center you take a few stops by tram.
The hotel is in a good location. It has a SPA which needs to be reserved before going there and costs 10€ per person for 1,5h. Breakfast was good as well.
Nice and clean hotel. Nice bar and very good breakfast. But smoking is allowed by the entrance and besides the outdoor seating area, so no fresher air inside, than outside due to smokers..... ☹️
The hotel is in good location of you like to live near the nature, but the same time in a walking distance from the old town. It has a mini SPA which needs to be reserved before going there and costs 10€ per person for 1,5h. Breakfast was good as well.

My husband and I were there last weekend and we loved it! Everything was 5*, from check in to check out, just amazing. Very kind staff, the receptionist was very helpful! Beautiful big rooms, beautiful building, great SPA! The breakfast was one of the best ever with champagne served, the pastry section was amazing. We just loved everything about this hotel!
Splendid hotel in a perfect central area of Riga, with excellent service. We loved it - the decor and quality of all amenities such as the bed and bedding, bathroom, room size, and the common areas of the hotel. The spa area was out of this world! Bonus of an excellent breakfast with a wealth of choice of fresh tasty foods.
My wife and I stayed at the Grand Poet by Semarah Hotels and checked out earlier today. Our experience was thoroughly enjoyable. We were happy we were upgraded to a superior room. And it was really spacious for me and my friend who needed wheelchair accessibility. The toilet was huge. The breakfast buffet was great - love the bacons. I also love the herrings and the cake...but there are lots of dishes to enjoy. Parking is free.
We spent three nights at the hotel, in three different rooms and I can say that it's a good hotel with great location near the old town. On the top there is a restaurant with stunning view of the river and old town. It's so romantic. The hotel rooms are comfortable and clear.
A very good place to stay in Riga, and feels like becomes a tradition to stay at this hotel, twice so far.. To clarify - breakfast is good and stuff is friendly. Forgot my sneakers last time there 😂, then I've contacted the reception and (woww) in few days my Nike was on it's way back!!
Good breakfast buffet. Free parking. Good location if you are willing to walk about 1k across the bridge to get to old town. Good public transportation options only .1k away. Decent rooms with a view if you are high enough to be above the obstructions and are on the river side. Good A/C which can be a factor with the more than occasional heat wave. Brilliant 5 course breakfasts inclusive in a medium sized local Spa hotel right in the centre of Riga. 10 minute walk to trains or buses or to many reasonable restaurants and the spectacular sights of the old city. Riga is a smorgasbord of culture, food and architectural history and this is the very reasonably priced perfect place to stay.
I would expect a bit more from a 4-star hotel: The air conditioning in the room is very weak and couldn't effectively cool the room even at an outside temperature of 25-26°C. The ventilation system is loud and cannot be turned off, so we could only sleep with earplugs. The minibar (small refrigerator) is not cold, maintaining a temperature of around 10-15°C, so if you buy yogurt or other perishable...
The hotel is great and very modern. We enjoyed our stay. We have a toddler, and we liked that the hotel has a little indoor play area of babies and toddlers. Very average hotel. For breakfast there was no bread, a lot of food plates were empty, huge line near coffee machines, because of lack of coffee itself. Staff hardly managed to work with such amount of people. Maybe in less busy time it would be better.

Great location in the heart of the Old Town. The restaurant was lovely—I especially enjoyed the dry-aged steak and the attentive waitress. Clean and nice room. The breakfast was good and whit quite good selection. Dear Dmitrijs, thank you for acknowledging the review I wrote. However, the answer seems to be quite automatic, because you didn't take a stand on why your service only got three points. However, service is the lifeblood of the hotel industry. Have a nice day 😃

We stayed there with a toddler, we tried to ventilate the room, but there was just one small window, which couldn't open widely. The...
The hotel is quite cute. The staff was very nice. On breakfest they don't have so many choices but you can take food for later, which is very good. Per total, I like it.
Really liked everything last time. Thought of ordering a trip in December, but because of political quarantine situation in Latvia we had to cancel these plans. Although I would have choosen this hotel. Hope I can come soon to Latvia and to Elephant ! Greetings from Lithuania !

This place is near to the bus station, easy access. They gave me a room upgrade, it was a pleasant surprise! Room was clean, bathroom was tidy, bed was very comfortable to sleep in. The breakfast was very good, many different options to choose from. Coffee was very good in my opinion. Check in and check out was quick. Hotel staff were very friendly! Only thing that a little bit disturbed, was the noise...
We stayed for 3 nights on December 29th, 30th and 31st as a family of 4. We were told that dinner was included in the plan, but they suddenly said that they couldn't provide it. However, when we arrived on the day, we were given a voucher for a nearby restaurant of the same chain. The service at that restaurant is not so good, so I don't recommend it. The breakfast at the hotel is excellent, with a...
The hotel location is great, next to old town, shops, and transportation. The room was basic, quiet & comfortable (could do with a thorough cleaning though). Breakfast was acceptable with 2 downsides; 1. during our 4-day stay we couldn’t have the strawberry smoothie which was only available to early birds: it did annoy me! 2. The coffee was just terrible; for coffee lovers like me “be warned”. I could...
Loved the hotel. Location is great - next to bus station where you can travel to Jurmala or other Baltics cities like Vilnius. The staff was very polite. The breakfast buffet was huge (loved the panacota and big variety of fruits) The price was great (value for money). The rooms even though more old fashioned were clean, spacious and comfortable! Totally recommend it 👌
28.09.2024 My wife and I traveled to Riga and chose to stay here. The hotel was really nice. The room was extremely spacious, washroom was really huge and there were basic things in the room like cups, iron, iron boards, closet and much more. The staff was fast, nice and spoke really good English. The location of the hotel is perfect, the central station is just opposite, the inter/intra bus station...
Pros: Great location, as you get out you are immediately in the old town. Hotel offers really good breakfast with wide variety of food. Rooms are spacious and with big bathroom. They are equipped with iron and ironing board, minibar with wide range of drinks and snacks, kettle and safety box. Cons: Found clipped off nail on the bathroom floor, so cleanness could be questionable. Parts of mattress...

Had a great stay at the Radisson Blu Ridzene. Perfectly located near the old town and the city centre. Highly recommended to stay here. Rooms need an update but they are clean, comfortable and very quiet. Hotel doesn’t accept Amex card so have an alternate card or cash with you
Liked service very much, hotel staff is very helpful and polite, rooms are clean and breakfast is decent. Tiny gym, but it is there and ready for usage with quite a good view. Did not use SPA, but in place. Parking under hotel is in place, small amount of parking lots ~20-30max. Old town, location very good!
Lovely big rooms, clean and comfortable apart from would have liked two armchairs not just one. Breakfast was lovely and relaxed with enough choice. We were at the front if the hotel in 4th floor so only things I would change (but not the hotels fault) was a loose manhole cover in the road outside and a door alarm across the road that were both very irritating. Apart from that a great stay in a hotel...
I stayed here for 2 nights and expected more from a Radisson Hotel as I stayed in many and this one was by far the least pleasant. I'll start with the positives, the staff were all very nice and acommodating, the location is amazing, just between the city center and old town, also walking distance to the train and bus station and the bathroom is new and clean. As for the negatives, the hotel is in...
Nice location, easy to come with car and near old town. Quite small underground parking garage was included to our room, easy to drive there. Friendly staff and sauna with great view. The breakfast was a little disapointment, we went to breakfast about 9.45 in two days, another day much empty plates, coffee was finished, mentioned to staff who took the empty jar away but never brought it back at 3...
+ Nice and clean room with a comfy bed. + A Finnish sauna with a nice view. + Parking included in the price. + Free EV charging in the parking garage from a schuko or a three phase outlet, just bring your own EVSE. - Breakfast not that good. Not much to choose from, the eggs were cold and there was a long black hair in my bacon. - The green carpeted floor looks very dated and had what looked like...

Fine hotel, everything is a bit dated but in good condition. The hallways and rooms smell strongly after cheap cleaner though.
Cheap and cheerful kind of place. For the price you pay, most things are better than expected. On the downside, the rooms are quite dated, bit of funky smell (carpets?) and noise insulation is poor - can easily hear conversations from other rooms. On the positives: - breakfast is good - decent size room, with amenities you would find in 4****/business hotels - smiling, helpful, cheerful reception...
Very lovely and friendly reception boys and girls. They can communicate in English very well. After we booked twice for the same time due to a technical glitch with Booking, they were very helpful and resolved the issue. The breakfast was very good. The parking behind the hotel was very safe. There is a tram to the old town of Riga right outside the hotel. Just buy the ticket and you can avoid the...
Nice hotel with great staff. Rooms were nice and food was excelent. Big terrace is fantastic! In front of hotel are trams and bus so you can go city center in 20 minutes.
Rooms is OK, but not more. Breakfast is great in my opinion. Room service hardly working and if u leaving label to clean it up whey will change only towels....
Single bed was not very wide. Bathroom had moln and could use a total cleaning. I was to big for the shower cabin. Had to shower with the doors open. There were silverfish running around the bathroom when I turned on the light. No A/C. Got real hot at night. Not sure that it meets a 3 star rating.
