Radisson Blu Latvija Conference & Spa Hotel, Riga, Riga1 / 28

Riga, Elizabetes iela 55 🧭 Map
Let's come clean, not everything was bad at all. I liked tasty breakfast, minimalistic style of hotel rooms, presence of iron in every single room and a settlement of hotel and thus a nice views. The first problem was a horrible functionality of elevators. It's not normal to wait for "your ride" more like 10 minutes. Had to use fire escape stairs several times on my way down from 12th floor. Another...
Very average experience. Reception staff was impolite, lacking in manners. Shower had an empty shower gel container (as we had a big group with several rooms booked, others also reported the same). Trash bin was not emptied. In addition, rooms are old with signs of wear, though it does not affect the rating. Also, found out that I qualified for spa centre based on my room selection, had I known that...
The rooftop bar has great views and is worth visiting. However, it was a bit awkward when the waiter gave us the menu, and we found that the food options were limited and not suitable for us. After sitting for just 5 minutes, we awkwardly returned the menu and left to find another restaurant. The waiter was very friendly.
I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel and had a mostly positive experience. The location is fantastic, being close to the old town, major tourist attractions, and a variety of restaurants. The highlight of the hotel is the Sky Lounge on the 26th floor, which offers stunning 360-degree views of the city. I highly recommend visiting at sunset and for night views – it’s incredible. The hotel also...
Average experience and some alarming practices that make me confident in saying we won't be returning. As for the stay - everything was fairly average. Rooms and halls are starting to show their age. There are some weird and uncomfortable solutions probably because of the age of the building as well, like having to change elevators or being asked to not wear bathrobes on the way to the SPA because...
Modern style! Very good breakfast, has chef omlete stand and a lot of choice available. Nice and clean rooms. The best view of the old city.

Notice the two invalids in parking? Or maybe VW and Citroën has some new electric cars on the market 🤔 So despite few simple people the hotel is nice and there are two Type 2 charging places for hotel guests with 15 € unlimited charging. Hotel was clean, family room was spacious with tub and breakfast had nice variety and even sparkling wine 🥂
Stayed in the hotel room was clean but no tidy hanging space for dresses only trousers and shirts. Breakfast had a good variety of things to eat. Pleasant staff Safety announcement only in Latvian as we were on the 9th floor and something had gone wrong with the lifts there was a lots of noise we did not know what was happening it was quite stressful
This is not a four-star hotel, but very functional and very good value for money. Good breakfast (except the coffee) for just a few euros if you take it togeather with the booking. The hotel is on the way from the airport if you take bus 22, some 6 min walk from the bus stop. Good if you land in Riga late. To get to the city center you take a few stops by tram.
The hotel is in a good location. It has a SPA which needs to be reserved before going there and costs 10€ per person for 1,5h. Breakfast was good as well.
Nice and clean hotel. Nice bar and very good breakfast. But smoking is allowed by the entrance and besides the outdoor seating area, so no fresher air inside, than outside due to smokers..... ☹️
The hotel is in good location of you like to live near the nature, but the same time in a walking distance from the old town. It has a mini SPA which needs to be reserved before going there and costs 10€ per person for 1,5h. Breakfast was good as well.

We had an amazing stay in the Junior Suite. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the view was absolutely stunning! Waking up to such a beautiful scenery made the experience even more special. The staff was friendly and attentive!
Hotel offers a warm and welcoming experience thanks to its friendly staff (especially the general manager). The breakfasts are outstanding, providing a delicious and varied selection to start your day right.
I had a wonderful experience at the property. I would highly recommend to my counterparts to make a visit at this stunning & luxury property. Journey From check-in to till checkout was amazing which includes room, pool, all day dining outlet ,all were exceptionally outstanding.
Beautiful place! I have stayed at this hotel several times and it is one of my favorite hotels in Riga!! Wonderful staff, always helping if something happens, delicious buffet, incredible spa area! And the rooms also offer a wonderful view of Riga. I one hundred percent recommend you stay at this hotel!!

Three of us checked in. I asked for the biggest room and a nice view since I'm staying a day longer than my colleagues. Unfortunately, I received a room with a view into a wall, which is okay. What's not okay is that I ended up with the smallest room among us, with a desk half the size of those in the other rooms, and the only one with a bathroom featuring a small shower, while the others have showers...
always when i come to Riga i will stay here. Its amazing hotel with helpful and polite people. Super clean. Nice spa👍🏼👍🏼. Nice location. Rooms are good with conditioners 👍🏼 Amazing view from riverside. I run away from horrible 5 star hotel to Welton riverside and i am happy and relieved. Thank you. LP
I booked a river side view room for three days. Beautiful view but bare in mind you'll get little to no sleep with the noise outside. From cars, to people shouting. Secondly it's two single beds pushed together, for a 4 star hotel expected much better comfort. Location walking distance to old town riga. Breakfast was lovely. Hotel called a taxi for me and journey that I paid €6 two days prior cost...
I want to thank the staff for the incredible service we received during our stay. A special thanks to Anton who helped us when we had issues with our booking and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with a huge variety and a chef in the middle cooking eggs and pancakes, which added an authentic touch. The drinks were also excellent, and the...
Great hotel to stay in Riga Old Town. Central location, clean & modern hotel. Staffs were friendly & helpful too. Special shout out to Veronika at the front desk who were really thoughtful & helpful in trying to find my lost items. She went well above & beyond. Recommended hotel to stay in Riga. Will be back!
The location of the hotel was excellent. Right next to the old town. The rooms were modern and clean. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I strongly recommend! Unfortunately, the spa was under maintenance during our visit, so we have no experience with it, at least it looks great in the pictures!

Hotel was quiet even though our room was directly above a very busy street. Everything was clean. Personnel was very professional and polite. Drink menu in lobbybar is versatile. Food in restaurant Elements is delicious and presentation is beautiful.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful (everyone from the bar, restaurant and to the cleaning). The room was perfect, especially the beds and pillows - beautifully decorated. Breakfast was really good and had a lot of choices. The location was excellent, close to everything. Over all it was the perfect stay for us and we would like to return one day
Every time we visited Riga, we always stay in this hotel. The room are nice, clean & spacious. Member of staff was pleasant & polite. We had an issue with broadband, so they fixed immediately. Cleaners are polite too. The room was warm, the bed was so comfy so I felt like I sleep in my own bed. Nice and well equipped rooms with comfortable beds and great bathroom. Cleaning service everyday. Bar lounge is open until 1:00 AM. Breakfast are very generous with a wide variety of food and drinks. We were happy we were upgraded to a superior room. And it was really spacious for me and my friend who needed wheelchair accessibility. The toilet was huge. The breakfast buffet was great - love the bacons. I also love the herrings and the cake...but there are lots of dishes to enjoy. Parking is free.
We spent three nights at the hotel, in three different rooms and I can say that it's a good hotel with great location near the old town. On the top there is a restaurant with stunning view of the river and old town. It's so romantic. The hotel rooms are comfortable and clear.
A very good place to stay in Riga, and feels like becomes a tradition to stay at this hotel, twice so far.. To clarify - breakfast is good and stuff is friendly. Forgot my sneakers last time there 😂, then I've contacted the reception and (woww) in few days my Nike was on it's way back!!
Good breakfast buffet. Free parking. Good location if you are willing to walk about 1k across the bridge to get to old town. Good public transportation options only .1k away. Decent rooms with a view if you are high enough to be above the obstructions and are on the river side. Good A/C which can be a factor with the more than occasional heat wave. Not sure why but the heated towel rack is always...
The mattresses and pillows were horrible . Definitely not a 4 star hotel . Breakfast was nice. Bathroom was quite good , very spacious. However I wouldn’t stay again there because of the very worn out mattresses .
It's my second day staying at the hotel and know my impressions are positive, the room on the eighth floor is quiet with a very good view of the river , the old town and the parks . Brilliant 5 course breakfasts inclusive in a medium sized local Spa hotel right in the centre of Riga. 10 minute walk to trains or buses or to many reasonable restaurants and the spectacular sights of the old city. Riga is a smorgasbord of culture, food and architectural history and this is the very reasonably priced perfect place to stay.
I would expect a bit more from a 4-star hotel: The air conditioning in the room is very weak and couldn't effectively cool the room even at an outside temperature of 25-26°C. The ventilation system is loud and cannot be turned off, so we could only sleep with earplugs. The minibar (small refrigerator) is not cold, maintaining a temperature of around 10-15°C, so if you buy yogurt or other perishable...
The hotel is great and very modern. We enjoyed our stay. We have a toddler, and we liked that the hotel has a little indoor play area of babies and toddlers. Breakfast service not good - there was special area for ice hookey team without any signs that its restricted area for other persons to have breakfast. Because of that i was transfered to correct place only after few try of help from responsible person. It was very uncomfortable.
I was very happy to try it out. Bed was cosy. Bathroom was clean and all necessary stuff was there. Breakfast was delicious, probably food could be even better after pandemic. I would love to stay there even more times.
Lovely hotel. Every possible requirement catered for in the rooms, which were so clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast even in times of Covid. Staff all very friendly and most helpful. Would definitely stay at this hotel again should the opportunity arise. Many thanks for everything.

You have my credit card number, I have signed your T&Cs. Should be enough to solve any issue. 2. A week before arriving , I've sent...
Very average hotel. For breakfast there was no bread, a lot of food plates were empty, huge line near coffee machines, because of lack of coffee itself. Staff hardly managed to work with such amount of people. Maybe in less busy time it would be better.

Rooms and location of the hotel is ideal ! I just think they can hire better staff who knows how to greet guests and be welcoming. Like when I checked in they have given me room access key and it wasn’t configured and I came back to reception to get it configured. It’s the second time it happened. So they just need to hire better staff for reception. Otherwise it’s a nice hotel to stay. Breakfast is...

Cute modern hotel in a great spot in the old town. Rooms very clean and the staff super friendly and accommodating. I haven't tried their spa services but they looked great and in good prices.
Clean and nice room. The breakfast was good and whit quite good selection. Dear Dmitrijs, thank you for acknowledging the review I wrote. However, the answer seems to be quite automatic, because you didn't take a stand on why your service only got three points. However, service is the lifeblood of the hotel industry. Have a nice day 😃
Great location in the centre of the old town, everything is in good walking distance. The room was lovely with a full mini fridge, although it does cost. The breakfast was delicious, great variety with tasty desserts as well.

A very nice hotel, conveniently situated close to the city centre and the old town. It is located in a beautiful historical building and the interiors are beautiful as well. The hotel is great. There is a sauna (wet/dry) and the pool. Not enough hygienic shower for the fifth point and kettle in the room (you can rent a kettle for € 5 per day).
Great location, pleasant service, clean. Of the minuses - no air conditioning, a single vent. the system cannot cope, very stuffy without the window open to stay awake. And open window is the noise), after all, the place is busy, many young people, stations within walking distance. However, the location of all redeems.

Really nice place to stay since it’s in the middle of the old town. We were very satisfied with our rooms, but it took three nights before we got our room cleaned (even with the sign saying please clean our room)
Stayed 2 nights here as a part of larger Poland and the Baltics tour. Intentionally stayed in the Old City in each and looking for hotels with charm or historic interest. This did not disappoint. It did feel more like a nicer luxury hotel, with slippers and AC, which was nice. It was recommended by my old and outdated Rough Guide, so glad to know this recommendation is still solid. The hotel was super...

Good and quiet location still near everything in the city centre. Room was cramped and the tv was placed in the corner of the room so that it couldn’t be adjusted. The shower cabin was very small even though the bathroom could have accommodated a large one. The AC worked well. Mainly nice staff at the reception. The breakfast was very basic and many times the food or china ran out and we had to wait...
Cheap hotel with a good breakfast. Only thing i will complain about is hard beds and cold water in the shower. Never got a hot shower for my 3 nights there. The bar was also closed. But overall. The price and breakfast made up some of the bad experience.
You are getting a great deal for this price. The rooms are tidy, service is good, breakfast is suitable for everyone. You can reach a lot of the city by foot from this hotel, also it is close to the train station.
We stayed in a room with a balcony. The room was a bit cold on arrival, but there was a heater in the closet and with that it was quite comfortable. Overall cleanliness of the room and hotel was nice, nothing to complain about. Quiet as well. The breakfast was also good, a standard buffé, but it seemed a bit understaffed on saturday morning. Also a bonus that the breakfast was served late, until ...
We stayed only for one night and were really trying to get nice room. On the website and also on booking was the choice if normal room - a bit old style, but still nice, and the new modern design room. We chose the second option which cost more, but by pictures room looked much better. The room on the first sight was nice (however, we expected a but bigger). Later we figured out the air condition was...
Not too big hotel in great location in Old Town of Riga. Well communicated. Very nice and professional staf. Breakfast adequate to price - correct.

The location is great - close to tram/train/bus and walking distance to old town. Quite charming as well but not by any means particularly comfortable. The beds are very hard and the AC was not adjustable (except the fan speed but I'm still unsure if it was actually cooling or heating...). You could open the windows but it was quite noisy from a nearby night club. Breakfast was ok. Not the best selection...
This hotel is fabulous. The location is perfect for exploring Riga on foot. The room was very spacious and the ensuite was large and had a really good shower. The complimentary bottles of water which were left every day were a nice touch. The noise from the trams didn't bother us too much. The breakfasts are amazing with so much choice. My only minor complaint is that a couple of mornings when I asked...
A lovely hotel - stories of noise from the tram are greatly exaggerated unless you’ve very sensitive hearing! Shame the restaurant and bar are closed every Sunday and Monday as sometimes you just don’t want to have to go out and explore.
A lovely historical hotel. Great location and clean, charming, modern rooms. Excellent breakfast and breakfast mimosas for those wishing to start their day off with a kick! Excellent coffee as well. Check out at 12noon was also a great comfort for us as we were taking it slow
As regular visitors to Riga, we were so pleased to try out the Metropole. We were not dissapointed. The check in was very efficient and the pleasant lady on reception gave us all the information we needed. Lovely comfortable and well equipped room overlooking the inner courtyard. The breakfast is substantive. The whole team at this Hotel were friendly and professional. Nicely located for the market...
Very cozy hotel. Rooms were stylish and comftorable and so was the whole hotel. Breakfast was very tasty. Only missing thing was restaurant, there was only bar offering sandwitches and salads. Luckily the location was so good that we found great restaurant nearby. Deffinately we will go back there when visiting amazing Riga again!

Lovely hotel just out of the centre. However easy walk to all the main places and bus/trolley service stops just outside
Great location with an affordable rate! We booked two rooms, and the hotel is just a 20-minute walk from the Old Town through a lovely park, close to the embassy district. Paid parking is available (€20 per day). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, though they could use some renovation. Breakfast exceeded our expectations with a wide variety of food and delicious...
Budget hotel about a 15 minute walk from Old Town. Clean rooms, small but well-appointedroom, good breakfast. Would use again.
Very very good breakfast! Parking is expensive, it is much cheaper to leave the car on the street overnight.
Ok hotel to stay for a couple of nights, but definitely not up to a four star standard , quite worn out for that. Location is good, though.
Well located, spacious and clean room. Parking available. Breakfast could be better but it was ok nevertheless. Wifi is also very good if you are working
