Riga, Raiņa bulvāris 5/6 🧭 Map
Just got back from our stay at The Grand Poet, everything about our stay was wonderful. The staff where friendly and very helpful. The spa was very nice and we had a wonderful full body massage. Would recomend The Grand Poet to anyone visiting Riga, also a great location as only a short 10 minute walk to the centre of the old town.
I stayed at Grand Poet on the night of 14 November, and honestly, it was a solid experience from start to finish. The staff deserve real credit — they’re professional, helpful, and actually attentive, not just pretending. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept. Breakfast was the highlight. There were a lot of options, everything tasted fresh, and it didn’t feel like the usual “hotel buffet...
Great stay at Grand Poet. From the moment we arrived the staff were super helpful. The room was immaculate, in fact the whole hotel was. It looked brand new!! We really enjoyed being able to use the spa everyday. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had! Location was superb, right next to a beautiful park and couple of minutes walk into the old town. We made use of the electric scooters parked...
Everything here was so beautiful! The spa is small but atmospheric; if there are many children, it can feel a bit full, but otherwise it’s lovely and relaxing. Breakfast had absolutely everything you could wish for; the sparkling wine and Pavlovas were a delightful touch! Our room was cleaned perfectly every day, and the option to have breakfast in the room for a small extra fee was such a nice luxury...
Absolutely loved my stay at the Grand Poet Hotel in Riga! The design of the hotel is simply amazing — modern, stylish, and full of character. The rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. The service was top-notch from start to finish — everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional. The breakfast selection was excellent with plenty of fresh and tasty options. The spa is...

Very nice and spacious rooms, hotel staff are constantly tidying up your rooms, providing chocolates and water. The main issue I encountered in this hotel was that their WiFi wasn’t stable, and I wasn’t able to have my online meetings properly. Tried switching to my own mobile data but network was bad too in the rooms.
I was upgraded to an Opera view room which was really very nice. Clean and smart hotel, really enjoyed having use of the complimentary spa facilities each day. Staff were all incredibly helpful.
Riga The hotel is very nice, especially spa and pool area. The rooms are comfortable and a good size, very clean and very well taking care off as the whole hotel. The stuff is very friendly, warm, helpful, and accommodating. Cannot comment on the breakfast and restaurants as we did not use them. Overall will happily recommend it to other travelers.
A very large hotel, ideally located right next to Riga's Old Town. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and there's a good Asian fusion restaurant.
Best Hotel in Riga I’ve stayed here twice now and both were great experiences. It’s the best hotel in Riga, for sure.
Felt right at home, safe and clean.

The property is under renovation, the whole floor and my room is with all the furnitures or renovation smell. It’s not a pleasant feel when you walking on the corridor to the room as some areas are renovating and some room doors are open and the furnitures all putting outside the corridor. Staff were excellent and very kind + professional. Facilities were very clean and modern. Location was perfect. Fitness suite is quite small but has all essential equipment and is fine for a quick workout.
Overall great stay. Great location to the old town. Excellent breakfast. Good ,clean, tidy hotel. Small gym and spar area, but did the job. Helpful and professional staff, who accommodated our need for a later check out ,at no extra cost. We were also allowed to store our luggage, after our check out. We would visit again.
The bartender is a very experienced bartender and makes the best cocktails. The hotel is located in the old town of Riga and around the hotel you have alot to see and do. We had an amazing stay!
Great location in the heart of the Old Town. The restaurant was lovely—I especially enjoyed the dry-aged steak and the attentive waitress. The bar had a nice vibe, though it’s more of a cocktail bar than a typical 5-star experience. There’s no formal drink menu, but the young bartender crafted unique cocktails based on my personal taste, which was a refreshing experience in drink culture you don’t...

What a Gem! So glad I found this boutique hotel right in the heart of “old town” Riga. Only a handful of rooms, each unique and very nicely appointed. Elevator or stairs to get you to the rooftop bar that’s open seasonally. breakfast is amazing in the Michelin rated restaurant downstairs. The service by the front desk was terrific as well, always helpful with transportation or other advice.
Right in the old town. The rooms are lovely and ours was quite large. The staff was also very helpful and had some great recommendations for the city. We would highly recommend!
Oh my! What a beautiful hotel! Our Junior suite was so roomy & beautifully decorated. Breakfast was scrumptious. And, best of all, were the lovely women who keep the place humming. A special shoutout to Agnes, at reception, who was charming, helpful & welcoming. We cannot wholeheartedly recommend the perfectly-located Dome for your stay in Riga.
Great, small hotel. Rooms are classic and well appointed. Clean and inviting, staff is very friendly and helpful. Loved our stay, location is within walking distance to many shops and attractions and public transportation is close and easy to access.
We had an incredible stay! I can’t fault this hotel, the receptionists were brilliant and very charming. The hotel has lots of character and our stay here was simply brilliant!! Loved the location too, very peaceful.
Wonderful hotel, with a lovely caring and attentive staff. Premium location in the old town, but still in a quiet street. Breakfast on order gives you everything fresh. As most hotels the bed is quite firm, giving the room 4 out 5. But the Dome will still lift your Riga-stay to a next level. Highly recommended.

Stayed here over 7 years ago. What a place. Still the same high-quality hotel made perfect by the friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Had to come back to sit in the bar for the afternoon and share memories of our last visit. Great location, just off Dome Square. This time, we got to experience the Chrismas market. It was one of the best we've visited. If you're looking for the authentic Christmas...
Finally a hotel that gets it! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and as soon as you enter you feel like a guest and not a customer. There is always someone to help at the reception, and beverages and cookies ready to take. When entering the room we found a hand-written welcome letter, chocolates and other sweets. There were all kind of amenities in the room, a filled mini bar and every evening there...
I really enjoyed my stay at the Grand Palace Hotel. The staff at check-in were so gracious and friendly. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. I loved the turn down service in the evenings. The hotel is very close to the cheerful Christmas market. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and in Riga. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to the city.
Great service from all, good comfortable rooms and excellent central location. They already do things for you before you have to ask! We arrived early, left bags with them, and came back later for the room. They had already took bags to our room. On way out our flight was in the evening and we booked the hotel car for airport transfer. We went to reception to get our bags... And they were out waiting...
We booked the hotel because the pictures were very well done and the hotel was centrally located. We were celebrating a special event and wanted a special hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel is showing its age when you look at it. The floor in the room squeaks and the room is smaller than average compared to the standard of a hotel room. The suite I booked was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Although located in a residential area, the hotel is close to "central" Riga; you can easily walk to cafes, bars, restaurants, and many cultural attractions. All in all, I enjoyed my stay at A22 and would love to stay there again the next time I visit Riga.
The hotel is exceptionally well-equipped for anyone travelling with kids. In addition to the standard baby crib provided probably in most hotels they also had a baby bathtub, a potty, some shampoos/lotions for kids, a changing sheet and wet wipes, which I haven't come across in other hotels we've stayed at (mind you, we don't choose family friendly hotels, so things might be a bit different in hotels...
The first three nights were very nice—peaceful and comfortable. Unfortunately, everything changed on the last night when a group of party guests was placed in the room next to us. From then on, sleeping was impossible due to loud bass-heavy music and dancing continuing well past midnight. This completely ruined our stay, especially with a late flight home the next day. The service was outstanding as always, I had yet another wonderful stay
We had a comfortable two nights stay here in December. The hotel room was ready at 10:30am when we arrived which was convenient, it was a clean and beautifully furnished room. The hotel is amazing with its architecture inside and location to the center. The rooms are really specious with a fireplace. Every detail in this hotel is unique and well preserved. Breakfast could have been better for this class of hotels
Well once you enter the hotel and take a look at the reception the feeling of grandeur overwhelms you. This feeling is quite short-lived and soon it's overcome with shoddy service and very ordinary rooms. The hotel furniture is quite dated and while the hotel boasts of 5 star accommodation and service and charges appropriately for it, I would still say it's nothing more than a 3.5 star hotel. Look...
This hotel was great, the beds were very comfortable and so were the pillows. The rooms vary as the some rooms(mainly on the 4th floor) are more modern than the others which are more classical. Stayed on 21st November. The hotel itself is excellent — amazing rooms, great spa, and overall a very comfortable experience. But the reception needs serious improvement: the receptionist wasn’t professional, struggled with English, and the check-in took far longer than it should. Breakfast also needs work, especially the protein options, which were extremely limited. Great hotel, but these two issues...
The biggest downside of this hotel is the extremely loud music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, lasting until 6:00 a.m. There is a nightclub on the ground floor, and the music can be heard clearly in the rooms. I was especially disappointed with the staff – I specifically asked about this at check-in and was assured that the rooms are quiet and the music would not be a problem, which was not...
Stayed there on a whim for 1 night on a holiday trip. This hotel strikes with byzantine style look, from the lobby to rooms. Lots of shiny and golden elements. Nice spacious room and a great location downtown (don't forget earplugs if there are concerts on the square next to the hotel). This hotel is located in the Old Town and is walkable to many sightseeing locations & restaurants. They have a relaxation room with sauna and jacuzzi for guests. The breakfast room is absolutely beautiful. They maintained an old well under the floor, visible through clear plexiglass, and the rest of the space is a mix of old brickwork & modern design. Stayed in a Superior Room (#901) with a lovely view – the room was well-equipped and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located: just a few minutes' ride (under €5 with Bolt) or a 20–25 minute walk from the bus station. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection – not great, not terrible – though some items like the pancakes could be improved (they were quite rubbery). That said, the staff at reception...
The places is perfect to get to old town easily. Breakfast was great. The room was clean and neat. And there was even pool table on one of the floors. 5/5. Though some people might have an issue with the sounds coming from the corridor since it isn’t very isolated. For me it was’t an issue.
We stayed for two nights with breakfast included, which was excellent – a wide selection and very tasty. We had a superior room with a view, but the windows were either fogged up or frozen, making it impossible to see through them. The room itself was not modern and needed renovation, but it was clean. Also the radiator in the room could not heat the space - it was cold. The bed was super comfortable...
The rooms have huge windows and paper thin radiators. Thus the rooms are not heated enough. We were very cold during the night I had to put my jacket on the duvet. Maybe the locals are used to sleep in such cold rooms but I was not satisfied at all. Also the room door doesnt have insulation so if there is noise in the corridor you can easily hear it in your room. The room was very spacious and had...
Everything was wonderful — the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was attentive. Stayed here from 1st–2nd December (weekday trip). Good hotel overall with a surprisingly strong SPA for this price range. SPA — 5/5 Very clean pool and jacuzzi, great lighting, calm atmosphere. It’s a bit outside of the Riga downtown so the benefit for it is free parking!!! Kim provided truly exquisite service during my stay at Radisson Blu Rīdzene. Professional, attentive, and genuinely warm in his approach, he made the experience feel effortless and personal. His positive personality and dedication stood out and had a real impact on my stay. I will definitely return because of him.
The hotel is quite good. Convenient location between two parks and next to the Old Town, just a 5-minute walk away. Friendly reception staff and efficient check-in. The room was generally okay, but it could have been cleaned better; the walls were very dirty in several places. However, the bed, bathroom, and floor were clean. Breakfast could have had a wider selection, but it was tasty.
Ridzene is a bit "older" by their staff description... But it is well kept, has a super nice staff, and great breakfast (similar in choice and quality to what I recall of Rad Blu Latvia). Gym/sauna 24 hr, quiet as it is not the casino and conference center, but right across the park! Could it have been a kgb hotel, backed up to the old usa embassy??
We arranged a small training conference in this hotel and the quality of service was very good. The rooms are clean, the food is delicious. The breakfast hours are long, which is great. The meeting room was arranged in the way we requested and the hotel staff constantly supported us throughout every step of the process. The catering during the breaks was always on time. The location is perfect,...
The room was comfortable, but the hotel itself feels quite dated with a '90s charm that may come across as uninviting to some. The location is excellent. The breakfast is more basic than other Radisson hotels, but it's also less expensive. This is a good option if you want a comfortable stay without a high price tag and don't mind a nostalgic '90s vibe.
My wife and I stayed at this hotel last week. We were completely satisfied, especially with the staff's service quality and hospitality. We would like to thank them again. If we ever return to this city, we will definitely stay here again.

The location is great - close to tram/train/bus and walking distance to old town. Quite charming as well but not by any means particularly comfortable. The beds are very hard and the AC was not adjustable (except the fan speed but I'm still unsure if it was actually cooling or heating...). You could open the windows but it was quite noisy from a nearby night club. Breakfast was ok. Not the best selection...
This hotel is fabulous. The location is perfect for exploring Riga on foot. The room was very spacious and the ensuite was large and had a really good shower. The complimentary bottles of water which were left every day were a nice touch. The noise from the trams didn't bother us too much. The breakfasts are amazing with so much choice. My only minor complaint is that a couple of mornings when I asked...
A lovely hotel - stories of noise from the tram are greatly exaggerated unless you’ve very sensitive hearing! Shame the restaurant and bar are closed every Sunday and Monday as sometimes you just don’t want to have to go out and explore.
A lovely historical hotel. Great location and clean, charming, modern rooms. Excellent breakfast and breakfast mimosas for those wishing to start their day off with a kick! Excellent coffee as well. Check out at 12noon was also a great comfort for us as we were taking it slow
As regular visitors to Riga, we were so pleased to try out the Metropole. We were not dissapointed. The check in was very efficient and the pleasant lady on reception gave us all the information we needed. Lovely comfortable and well equipped room overlooking the inner courtyard. The breakfast is substantive. The whole team at this Hotel were friendly and professional. Nicely located for the market...
Very cozy hotel. Rooms were stylish and comftorable and so was the whole hotel. Breakfast was very tasty. Only missing thing was restaurant, there was only bar offering sandwitches and salads. Luckily the location was so good that we found great restaurant nearby. Deffinately we will go back there when visiting amazing Riga again!

We were happy we were upgraded to a superior room. And it was really spacious for me and my friend who needed wheelchair accessibility. The toilet was huge. The breakfast buffet was great - love the bacons. I also love the herrings and the cake...but there are lots of dishes to enjoy. Parking is free.
The overall layout of the hotel is compact and reasonable, suitable for self-driving travel and parking is safe and convenient. There is a large shopping mall within walking distance, where you can shop and have some restaurants to choose from.
Very cost-effective, good location
We spent three nights at the hotel, in three different rooms and I can say that it's a good hotel with great location near the old town. On the top there is a restaurant with stunning view of the river and old town. It's so romantic. The hotel rooms are comfortable and clear.
A very good place to stay in Riga, and feels like becomes a tradition to stay at this hotel, twice so far.. To clarify - breakfast is good and stuff is friendly. Forgot my sneakers last time there 😂, then I've contacted the reception and (woww) in few days my Nike was on it's way back!!
Good breakfast buffet. Free parking. Good location if you are willing to walk about 1k across the bridge to get to old town. Good public transportation options only .1k away. Decent rooms with a view if you are high enough to be above the obstructions and are on the river side. Good A/C which can be a factor with the more than occasional heat wave. Not sure why but the heated towel rack is always...

Great location. Excellent breakfast. Old interior. Small and old TV.
Entrance to foyer is up about 10 STEEP steps with inadequate handrail. Be warned if you are wobbly on your feet, no one will help with your cases. Bus guests made breakfast a real nightmare. I have never experienced a breakfast like this anywhere in the world.
Peaceful hotel in a really beautiful area. We had no view from the junior suite but it was clean, quiet and spacious. The breakfast selection was good but the breakfast buffet was quite crowded each morning. The sauna facilities were nice, but sauna was missing a light for some reason. Friendly staff. I would stay here again.
Great hotel situated closer to the Old part of town, also a walking distance to the Art Nouveau and Kronvalda Park. The hotel was quite nice, rooms were clean and staff very friendly and helpful whenever I had any issues. Would likely stay again if given the opportunity.
Breakfast was amazing. We being vegetarian still had options to eat. Very nice spread. Location isn't very close to old town but it's walkable around 20 mins away.
I liked everything at this price...

I stayed at this hotel for four nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic—right in the city center, with everything just a short walk away. There's a shopping center right next door, and the hotel offers excellent accessibility from the airport. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was nice; I recommend going early in...
Rooms are good enough, mostly clean, but housekeeping is only every 2 days, which you are informed about only at check-in. Comfortable beds. Bathroom with no curtains (!), not sure who enjoys taking their shower in full view of the rows of office windows in front. No box with paper tissues in the room: this adds to the general feeling that the hotel tries to cut costs, and corners, like with the understaffing...
Had a great stay here. Location is excellent just by the train station and close to bus 22 to airport. About 15 mins walk to old town, which is also great. The room was comfy and big enough for me to have my things and also be able to walk around. No stupid glass door to bathroom so loved that!! Breakfast is OK but would have liked more healthy options such as oatmeal and sourdough bread. 3 elevators...
The staff was really friendly and attentive. That is not just cause they agreed to not charge me for parking for writing a review. The location was pretty good for not being in the old town area. Old town was about a 5-10 walk from the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good, not great but had plenty for what I needed. This is probably the best place you can stay...
A fantastic place. Close to the center and well located overall.

"I had a wonderful stay at the Radisson in Riga! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by a friendly and professional staff who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The breakfast buffet was delicious. I truly felt at home...
So so needed to change the room because I there were stains in the room on the floor and main light in the room didn’t work. Friday night was very noisy.
Nice Park Inn hotel. Nice room in a quite big as hotel. The hotel has a restaurant. The breakfast is quite good. Unfortunately there are not enough seats to accomodate all the people that can stay in the hotel.
Location is not very good, however they are not far from the center (by car/taxi). The area is a bit weird and the arrival is quite complicated. The receptionist are unpleasant, unprofessional und the management should look after a training for them how to behave. We paid for the accommodation and were told that the invoice will be sent by email. After several days nothing happened, I tried to call...
My family and I stayed at the hotel for two days and were very satisfied with everything. When we checked in, there was a very friendly receptionist who made sure we got a room on the same floor as our older children. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the breakfast was very tasty and varied. The staff is friendly and polite. We dare to choose the same hotel on our next visit. Thank you!

In a convenient central location right in the heart of the old town. Great value for money - we had a huge room. For the most part our toom was quiet. On the friday night though the opd town was loud and we coupd hear noisy
Neiburgs is a gem of an hotel Neiburgs is a superb hotel. Great, professional staff, lovely big room with sitting area and kitchenette in great location in Riga’s Old Town. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and I should love to stay there again. The breakfast was excellent too…
Very nice Central Hotel with great breakfast. Except our view (a wall) and the girls at the reception it was a very nice stay.
The location in the Old Town is excellent and the hotel has been beautifully restored. The hotel has about 50 rooms so it feels very personal. Wonderful facilities in the rooms. Was perfect and would recommend to anyone going the Riga.
Amazing hotel, 10/10. We stayed here for 4 days, I chose the hotel after reading about the renovation and absolutely loved the design of the hotel! Perfect location, close to everything but in a quiet street. Staff were amazing despite us arriving very late, room was spotless and comes with toiletries. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Riga.
Even better than the pictures Neiburgs Hotel is in a perfect location to explore Riga on foot. The staff were incredibly helpful and helped us find more activities during our stay. Can highly recommend.

Fabulous location and very helpful staff on reception - keen to give recommendations for restaurants etc. I happened to mention it was my birthday during our stay and they put a bottle of Rigas sparkling wine and flute glasses in our room with a little card wishing me happy birthday. Lovely sized rooms, comfy beds, good shower and a quiet hotel.
The location is good and the staff hotel is also very nice. The breakfast is very good.
The location was great, the breakfast was delicious and comfortable!
Quaint hotel with a great location
Take no notice of the scores. We were unable to stay due to illness. Sadly we were not refunded in accordance with the terms as at the time we were not able to produce medical evidence (obvious confidentiality issues aside). Very disappointing. It will influence future bookings.
The hotel has value for money in the old town area of Riga. Check in was smooth and we were able to get into our room quickly to drop off our bags and get to Arena Riga for an ice hockey game with limited time to get there. The location is very central to the sites of Riga's old town and there are some very good restaurants nearby. There are quite a few convenience stores and souvenir shops nearby...

The hotel is located in a relatively remote and quiet area. There is a large shopping mall 5 minutes drive away, and there is a large supermarket where you can choose to buy food. From the outside, the hotel looks very ordinary, but after entering the hotel, I just felt that the overall atmosphere was good.
When you get out of the airport, you can take bus No. 22 to get there. It’s clean and has a bathtub! There is a very big white elephant in the restaurant, and the breakfast is very rich! The overall feeling is pretty good! Except that the entrance is far away and the luggage is not easy to carry.
The food is good. I liked everything. I recommend it for this low price. The downside is that there is no balcony and it is inconvenient to open the RKNA
According to all the information, the bar closes at 11:00 p.m., but it was not sold to the hotel's customers anymore at 10:50 p.m., even though the customer next to her got a beer from the tap while this girl told her that the bar was closed.Apparently they were in a hurry to get home, the staff does spoil the reputation of this hotel, but they don't do business at the bar anymore as customers, the...
Close to Spice mall - which has a post office, clothing stores, restaurants, grocery stores etc. Not too far from the airport or from Riga. Easy distance to take the bus or train too if you need to use public transport for your travels.
Very disappointed except for the position close to airport. Mattresses are old and tired, had the room 407 in front of has station open 24hrs Could not keep the window open for the noise. NB I ask at reception to put me on high floors far from noise. Little note: the night before I spent the night at the Radisson old town with an upgrade at cheaper price than the Elephant. This hotel offers clean rooms and very comfortable beds. The breakfast is also very good eith a great variety of choices, providing a solid start to the day. Its central location is ideal for easy access to major sights and transport. The service is professional and efficient, ensuring a smooth stay. Overall, a reliable choice for quality and convenience.
It was the first time we stayed at this hotel. Quality, level, excellent facilities, and the staff who are simply perfect. The hospitality we received was exemplary, and the hotel's services were great. The breakfast was very good both in terms of variety and quality. Highly reccommended!
Room was spacious and clean, bed and bedding was excellent. Wish it didn’t have carpet on the floor and that the windows were bigger. Breakfast was fresh and had a nice variety to choose from. Excellent service, both at reception and breakfast restaurant, as well as the cleaning crew.
Stayed at the Avalon & Conferences Hotel in Riga for a few days - in general we were satisfied. Hotel was very nice, renovated , modern, and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location - spectacular!!! The only issue was parking. It was very expensive and getting in and out of it was very burdensome. If you have a car - perhaps stay somewhere else
Great location in the heart of old town. Use your map app and ask the friendly locals for directions. Great rooms but don't take a 4th floor room unless you want privacy. There is no lift to these rooms. Breakfast was very European with lots of vegetables.
Rooms are available at around 6 closely situated buildings which all looks to have been recently renovated. Our room was ground floor and was excellent. Comfy bed. Good shower. Quiet air conditioning. Hotel situated in the middle of the old town adjacent to several key sights.
Excellent location of the hotel – right in the heart of the Old Town. The room is spacious and clean.
What an amazing hotel! Staff is incredibly courteous and kind, rooms are nicely sized and well kept, and the location is awesome! Housekeeping is somehow staffed by ninjas… their presence is hardly noticeable except for trash removal and replenishing amenities. Only complaint is that because of its fabulous location and layout you consistently have geriatric tour groups parading through the courtyard...
The location was excellent – central, peaceful, and within walking distance of everything we needed. The room was otherwise nice and generally clean. However, the main issue was the air conditioning. It was installed in the room, but it simply didn’t work. When we reported the problem, the response was dismissive – as if we just didn’t know how to operate it – even though it clearly wasn’t functioning...
