Best Hotels in Riga

I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel and had a mostly positive experience. The location is fantastic, being close to the old town, major tourist attractions, and a variety of restaurants

The highlight of the hotel is the Sky Lounge on the 26th floor, which offers stunning 360-degree views of the city. I highly recommend visiting at sunset and for night views – it’s incredible

The hotel also features a bar and a restaurant on the ground floor, and I appreciated the complimentary water bottles and the coffee and tea selection in the rooms

Another problem appeared once I opened my fresh prepared room, which actually was ALREADY INHABITED and I was even able to enter inside. I like people, this kind of sharing with strangers isn't for me, trust me

In addition, rooms are old with signs of wear, though it does not affect the rating. Also, found out that I qualified for spa centre based on my room selection, had I known that, I would have packed swimwear

The rooftop bar has great views and is worth visiting. However, it was a bit awkward when the waiter gave us the menu, and we found that the food options were limited and not suitable for us

The interior felt nostalgic (good nostalgic, the hotel is renovated ), the pluming in the room acted peculiarly hence four stars, other than that - staff were truly helpful (we had an issue with booking, had to wait a bit but compensated nicely), breakfast exceeded our expectations, all and all - we were happy

We stayed for two nights with breakfast included, which was excellent – a wide selection and very tasty

The soundproofing was not the best. The TV in the room did not work- they promised to come and fix it, but no one ever did

Maybe the locals are used to sleep in such cold rooms but I was not satisfied at all. Also the room door doesnt have insulation so if there is noise in the corridor you can easily hear it in your room

Whether you're here for business or leisure, this hotel offers everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and memorable stay. In summary, Radisson Blu daugava hotel exceeded all my expectations in every way

The only small remark is that the bathroom seemed a bit dated for a Radisson-level hotel. Overall, we were happy with our experience and would gladly stay here again. Thank you for the pleasant hospitality!

Amazing location, a bit close to the main road, so if your sensitive to sound don't take riverside rooms or you can't open the window. Spacious and clean rooms, housekeeping is really good

The location is excellent, a short walk to the main attractions of Riga. The staff were friendly and the hotel offers free drinking fountains, which is excellent

You can also order cocktails to the private spa. The customer service was great in this hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised with how helpful and friendly staff were

The spa was quite small and had a charge, which was disappointing. When we checked in we stored our suitcases, but they weren't in a secure room. Anyone could've stolen anything from anyones suitcases

I asked many members and everyone was very happy with their rooms, especially spa, lovely welcome at reception and breakfast, tidiness of their rooms. Once again big thanks for Agnese for her efforts and extra mile

The room was perfect, especially the beds and pillows - beautifully decorated. Breakfast was really good and had a lot of choices. The location was excellent, close to everything

Overall Staff were great and very helpful, room was a great size with a very comfortable bed which made for five very good nights sleep and a luxurious en suite was just an added bonus

It was a very pleasant hotel all round and very, very good value for money I wouldn't have minded paying more! Wasn't expecting the quality or style for the price me and my partner paid

A cook is also there to prepare an omelette fir for you, for example. Another big plus are the conference rooms that are variable so they can suit everybody's needs, again with very tasty catering

It had a nice cozy bar with very good service and a sauna to the ground floor of the hotel! It also had a restaurant for the evening called Elements we decided to explore as many diffrent restaurants whilst our stay in riga so we didn't end up having an evening meal but when we return in the future we will definitely be giving it a go

Every time we visited Riga, we always stay in this hotel. The room are nice, clean & spacious. Member of staff was pleasant & polite. We had an issue with broadband, so they fixed immediately

Stayed in the hotel room was clean but no tidy hanging space for dresses only trousers and shirts. Breakfast had a good variety of things to eat

Services are very good, and it has a very nice breakfast table. A little away from Riga town, but that's ok. Just take the tram and you're in Riga centrum in no time. The local theatre museum, is nearby and worth a visit

Notice the two invalids in parking? Or maybe VW and Citroën has some new electric cars on the market 🤔 So despite few simple people the hotel is nice and there are two Type 2 charging places for hotel guests with 15 € unlimited charging

Nice and clean hotel. Nice bar and very good breakfast. But smoking is allowed by the entrance and besides the outdoor seating area, so no fresher air inside, than outside due to smokers..... ☹️

Hotel was clean, family room was spacious with tub and breakfast had nice variety and even sparkling wine 🥂

The hotel is on the way from the airport if you take bus 22, some 6 min walk from the bus stop. Good if you land in Riga late. To get to the city center you take a few stops by tram

Splendid hotel in a perfect central area of Riga, with excellent service. We loved it - the decor and quality of all amenities such as the bed and bedding, bathroom, room size, and the common areas of the hotel

Very kind staff, the receptionist was very helpful! Beautiful big rooms, beautiful building, great SPA! The breakfast was one of the best ever with champagne served, the pastry section was amazing

The spa area was out of this world! Bonus of an excellent breakfast with a wealth of choice of fresh tasty foods

The check-in process was excellent, with all the receptionists being exceptionally friendly and professional

During our stay, we took advantage of the complimentary saunas and spas, which were immaculate and well-maintained. The receptionist there was also very friendly, providing us with towels and waterproof slippers

She was always busy, either welcoming guests, clearing tables, or topping up the champagne. She looked stunning in her uniform, as did the rest of the staff, who were all very sharp and elegant

We spent three nights at the hotel, in three different rooms and I can say that it's a good hotel with great location near the old town. On the top there is a restaurant with stunning view of the river and old town

Decent rooms with a view if you are high enough to be above the obstructions and are on the river side. Good A/C which can be a factor with the more than occasional heat wave

A very good place to stay in Riga, and feels like becomes a tradition to stay at this hotel, twice so far. To clarify - breakfast is good and stuff is friendly

The mattresses and pillows were horrible . Definitely not a 4 star hotel . Breakfast was nice. Bathroom was quite good , very spacious. However I wouldn’t stay again there because of the very worn out mattresses .

The mattress was very good and we asked for second pillows and they were given to us immediately. We came at night and the reception served us immediately

The variety of dishes offered something for every taste. One small downside was that I could occasionally hear traffic noise from my room at night, which might be worth considering for light sleepers

Our second room 103 had perfect bathroom, all worked. The restaurant for dinner is just perfect, excellent tapas. I do recommend this hotel as a perfect option for not expensive stay

Great location. Beer fest was right out front in the park. Good breakfast provided by hotel. Polite staff. Power adapters available from front desk. No problem conversing with staff in English.

I was very happy to try it out. Bed was cosy. Bathroom was clean and all necessary stuff was there. Breakfast was delicious, probably food could be even better after pandemic. I would love to stay there even more times.

Good food at their "CUT" restaurant. The rooms are fresh and clean. And I really appreciate their parking arrangement, even tough it's not the biggest I've always managed to get my car parked

When you send a reminder email where you ask for a review, the subject of it should be "Kind reminder," not a "Reminder". Our agreement was about the room for one night

For breakfast there was no bread, a lot of food plates were empty, huge line near coffee machines, because of lack of coffee itself. Staff hardly managed to work with such amount of people

I didn't get good impression at the reception as I checked in. No greeting, no smile and unfriendly stuff. I booked a twin room with 2 beds but we had a small double room at the top floor with low ceiling

Location is not very good, however they are not far from the center (by car/taxi). The area is a bit weird and the arrival is quite complicated

The bartender is a very experienced bartender and makes the best cocktails. The hotel is located in the old town of Riga and around the hotel you have alot to see and do. We had an amazing stay!

The old building seamlessly integrated in modern design. Unusual room layout with a sentence of bathroom sink, separate shower and separate toilet, interesting, but not always convenient. Very comfortable bed

Great location to the old town. Small gym and spar area, but did the job. Helpful and professional staff, who accommodated our need for a later check out ,at no extra cost

Only gripe were the pillows in the bedroom, need to do better in that respect. Would suggest maintenance go in to rooms on a regular basis, paint touch ups needed in bathroom and bedside tables

We moved to this hotel as we did not like our original hotel. Receptionist who made our reservation and checked us in was extremely helpful and pleasant

The old town can be reached on foot in 10 minutes on the pretty Roman streets. Heard that like in the winter the hotel is closed for repairs. So everything will be even better

This budget hotel is excellent value for money! Yes it may be fraying slightly around the edges, but the rooms are clean and have a safe, fridge and coffee facilities, the shower is good, the staff are friendly, and there is a decent breakfast included in the price

Very good facilities for money 15 minute walk from centre Riga. Easy to navigate back to. Good buffet breakfast

There is even a great view of an old church from rooms on floors 4-6 like ours! My only minor comment is that there is no aircon, but that's no big deal at the price of the rooms - all the windows open anyway! Highly recommended!

Some rooms on the top floor would have the courtyard view. The reception staff is always ready to help and friendly. The breakfast is great and the staff is very efficient to set up and clear up tables during busy time

Nice hotel near city center, five minutes of walk. Near is Riga Central Market where you can find numerous products and groceries. Room was comfortable and the view were perfect. Breakfast could be more various

Access both to the pool area and spa is paid, 18 eur per person. The location is good but if you're unlucky your room will face a busy street with loud music

There was also a grumpy person at the reception. The bigger room was directly on the main road, good bye peaceful dreams. And the cleanliness of the room is a bit rough, the sofa bed is covered with old stains

It's also good located till airport, the bus past outside hotel and I am there in 10 min. But the best with this hotel is its just perfect to be in, I can do things here, it's not boring

Apparently they were in a hurry to get home, the staff does spoil the reputation of this hotel, but they don't do business at the bar anymore as customers, the money is good for other places too

The good thing is that you can park your car in the parking garage overnight. The location is good, you can get to the center with a bolt and the Spice shopping center is nearby

This place is near to the bus station, easy access. They gave me a room upgrade, it was a pleasant surprise! Room was clean, bathroom was tidy, bed was very comfortable to sleep in

The breakfast was very good, many different options to choose from. Coffee was very good in my opinion. Check in and check out was quick

However, when we arrived on the day, we were given a voucher for a nearby restaurant of the same chain. The service at that restaurant is not so good, so I don't recommend it

Had a great stay at the Radisson Blu Ridzene. Perfectly located near the old town and the city centre. Highly recommended to stay here. Rooms need an update but they are clean, comfortable and very quiet

I'll start with the positives, the staff were all very nice and acommodating, the location is amazing, just between the city center and old town, also walking distance to the train and bus station and the bathroom is new and clean

Really good hotel if you are travelling with dog. Clean, OK breakfast and quiet enough. Good indoor parking. Only minus comes from carpet floors.

Fine hotel, everything is a bit dated but in good condition. The hallways and rooms smell strongly after cheap cleaner though.

Very lovely and friendly reception boys and girls. They can communicate in English very well. After we booked twice for the same time due to a technical glitch with Booking, they were very helpful and resolved the issue

The parking behind the hotel was very safe. There is a tram to the old town of Riga right outside the hotel. Just buy the ticket and you can avoid the expensive parking fee in the crowded old town

Nice hotel with great staff. Rooms were nice and food was excelent. Big terrace is fantastic! In front of hotel are trams and bus so you can go city center in 20 minutes.
