The hotel, its location, and the view from my room were amazing. I would especially like to thank Marianna—she arranged a fantastic room for me and was incredibly helpful. She is the best at Radisson Hotels in Latvia!

Had no view from the room which was little disappointing. The breakfast was good and the facilities in general was nice. Location is perfect in relation to restaurant and Riga old town

One of the other outstanding areas of this hotel is the top floor bar with one of the best views of Riga. Try to book a window seat for a few drinks - day or night

We had an amazing experience at the Sky Bar Restaurant in the Radisson Blu Riga Tower, thanks to our wonderful server, Alex. From the moment we arrived, Alex was incredibly polite, attentive, and professional

Amazing view and a great variety of cocktails. Would definitely return and recommend it to others aswell. Better to book a table in advance just to be sure to get a table with a perfect view to the city

The location is not in the city, but it only costs a few euros to enter the city with a bolt and the view is super good when the weather is fine

Hotel offers a warm and welcoming experience thanks to its friendly staff (especially the general manager). The breakfasts are outstanding, providing a delicious and varied selection to start your day right.

Also the bathroom is chic and the soaps smell great :D The price is completely fine for what this location offers

The interior felt nostalgic (good nostalgic, the hotel is renovated ), the pluming in the room acted peculiarly hence four stars, other than that - staff were truly helpful (we had an issue with booking, had to wait a bit but compensated nicely), breakfast exceeded our expectations, all and all - we were happy

Staff was available and was very happy to see a nice and clean room before me. The room was a good size, and very clean. The bathroom was spotless and the bed had no hair or anything

We booked two adjacent rooms for our family of five (two adults, three kids). It was helpful that the rooms were next to each other, but they were not connecting

The forth night staying here given its strategic location: 5 minute walk to the bus terminal, 5 minute walk to the bus #22 to airport, while along the river and immediately into the old town

I stayed at Grand Poet on the night of 14 November, and honestly, it was a solid experience from start to finish. The staff deserve real credit — they’re professional, helpful, and actually attentive, not just pretending

The lady managing the spa was doing a great job cleaning up and handling the reception given how busy it was, but realistically there should be a limit of no more than 15-20 people at any one time to ensure a good experience

Just got back from our stay at The Grand Poet, everything about our stay was wonderful. The staff where friendly and very helpful. The spa was very nice and we had a wonderful full body massage

Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had! Location was superb, right next to a beautiful park and couple of minutes walk into the old town. We made use of the electric scooters parked opposite the hotel

Stayed for 4 nights - the hotel is in an excellent location for exploring the old town. Rooms average size for a city centre hotel (on the smaller side) and perfectly clean with a well equipped bathroom

Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast good and there was something for all. They didn't clean the room if you don't put a "please clean the room" tag on the door handle, I find it interesting but understandable

The hotel is great and very modern. We have a toddler, and we liked that the hotel has a little indoor play area of babies and toddlers. Spa is great, but you need to pay extra to use the spa

The room was really hot, which meant we constantly needed the window open, which then meant we got a lot of noise (city centre hotel), so sleep wasn't great throughout the trip

The best hotel on the Baltic Sea trip, almost the same as domestic five-star hotels. Other European five-star hotels are Home Inn. I was also shocked to see noodles and dumplings for breakfast.

The service of this Kempinski is really good, like no other. The facilities are also very good. It is the best hotel in Riga. The location is also very good and convenient. It is highly recommended.

The main issue I encountered in this hotel was that their WiFi wasn’t stable, and I wasn’t able to have my online meetings properly. Tried switching to my own mobile data but network was bad too in the rooms

Excellent location, helpful staff, good breakfast. The only disappointment was having to pay extra for access to the spa (which needs to be pre-booked, by the way), but it was still worth it

I was also pleasantly surprised by the well-designed sauna and the 24-hour gym. However, we encountered an issue with the door lock to our room, which failed to open with our room cards

There was a situation when we broke the door lock, and while it repaired, we were given a voucher at the lobby bar (free drink). So the timeout fix has flown by and with taste :)

We stayed at Rija VEF Hotel from September 18, 2025 (around 5 PM) until September 20 (4 AM). Our room was clean, and the breakfast was fine, though we expected a bit more variety (they made sure to refill the food)

On the positives: - breakfast is good - decent size room, with amenities you would find in 4****/business hotels - smiling, helpful, cheerful reception staff - very convenient location, lots of public transport available to go to the center/sea in 15-20 minutes - large size bed with decent mattress

Getting to the hotel also takes some time — about 20 minutes from the Central Bus Station by taxi due to a long U-turn, and roughly the same by tram from the Old Town (around 9 stops)

Ridzene is a bit "older" by their staff description. But it is well kept, has a super nice staff, and great breakfast (similar in choice and quality to what I recall of Rad Blu Latvia)

BUT! Once you're in a good room, the hotel begins to play colors of life! The difference in price is 20 EUR per day, and the comfort and pleasure are incommensurable. But in the evenings and at weekends work is underway

The location is very good, close to the old town. The breakfast was okay. But the room was sooo cold. Please heat the room before your guests arrive.

Very spacious rooms right in Old Town with super single beds! The staff was super friendly and recommended us to visit the St Peter’s Cathedral next door and it was such a beautiful place to get a bird’s eye view of old town

Staff are friendly and forthcoming. Rooms are well cleaned and tidy. I asked to change the room, because the aircon seemed a bit noisy, and got it changed immediately, no questions asked, to a quieter room

However the toilet had a strange stench for some reason. Would have been better if the TVs are smart TVs. But still a great place overall
