Good breakfast choices that all I need

Staff was available and was very happy to see a nice and clean room before me. The room was a good size, and very clean. The bathroom was spotless and the bed had no hair or anything

We booked two adjacent rooms for our family of five (two adults, three kids). It was helpful that the rooms were next to each other, but they were not connecting

The forth night staying here given its strategic location: 5 minute walk to the bus terminal, 5 minute walk to the bus #22 to airport, while along the river and immediately into the old town

Check in was very smooth, and the location of the hotel is great as everything is just walking distance away. I think is a very good deal, everything considered.

Stayed for 4 nights - the hotel is in an excellent location for exploring the old town. Rooms average size for a city centre hotel (on the smaller side) and perfectly clean with a well equipped bathroom

Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast good and there was something for all. They didn't clean the room if you don't put a "please clean the room" tag on the door handle, I find it interesting but understandable

The hotel is great and very modern. We have a toddler, and we liked that the hotel has a little indoor play area of babies and toddlers. Spa is great, but you need to pay extra to use the spa

The room was really hot, which meant we constantly needed the window open, which then meant we got a lot of noise (city centre hotel), so sleep wasn't great throughout the trip

Staff did what they needed to, but nothing amazing. All in all, good value for what we were charged and I'd stay there again, simply due to the location and cleanliness

We went for breakfast at 10am on Sunday and the place was packed with nowhere to sit. People were rushing around grabbing food so it wasn't very relaxed but there was a good selection of food

The location was good, most tourist spots were within walking distance and there was a shopping mall nearby, so it was convenient. The room was clean and the check-in and check-out service was also good.

As a result, we had to call security every time we returned to our room, which was quite annoying and prevented us from fully enjoying the hotel facilities since someone had to stay inside the room

I was also pleasantly surprised by the well-designed sauna and the 24-hour gym. However, we encountered an issue with the door lock to our room, which failed to open with our room cards

We reported this to the staff, who promised to fix it that day, but unfortunately, the lock remained broken until our checkout

Clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds and pillow was great(overslept 😀). Definitely would come back

The best hotel on the Baltic Sea trip, almost the same as domestic five-star hotels. Other European five-star hotels are Home Inn. I was also shocked to see noodles and dumplings for breakfast.

The service of this Kempinski is really good, like no other. The facilities are also very good. It is the best hotel in Riga. The location is also very good and convenient. It is highly recommended.

There was a situation when we broke the door lock, and while it repaired, we were given a voucher at the lobby bar (free drink). So the timeout fix has flown by and with taste :)

The hotel has a rich breakfast and provides care products. No toothbrushes are provided, but overall it is good and the front desk staff are very enthusiastic.

The hotel is in a very good location. Small, quiet street very close to the old town. Staff very efficient and friendly. Rooms rather small but not too small to feel comfortable

Old style bathroom and there are certainly people who will complain about this. Price per room moderate, and on top of that the hotel provides an airport shuttle!

Everything is within walking distance. It is possible to rent a sauna. I would like to mention the breakfasts separately. Suitable for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Very tasty pancakes with homemade jam

However, when we arrived on the day, we were given a voucher for a nearby restaurant of the same chain. The service at that restaurant is not so good, so I don't recommend it

This place is near to the bus station, easy access. They gave me a room upgrade, it was a pleasant surprise! Room was clean, bathroom was tidy, bed was very comfortable to sleep in

We stayed for 3 nights on December 29th, 30th and 31st as a family of 4. We were told that dinner was included in the plan, but they suddenly said that they couldn't provide it

At that time it was called Nordic. Judging by the photos, since then not much has changed. Very good memories about the staff, amazing dinner and comfortable interior

In the evening in the bathhouse - the most it! Ordered procedure - the clay turned out to be so burning that the wife was not well, but the staff saved us, flooded us with compliments and gifts

Vast room, comfort bed, maybe to soft (but it's personal). Very good response from the staff - our shower was broken, but they repaired that almost immediately. Downside: reception works only part time

We recently stayed at the Avitar hotel and for the money it is good. It's a no thrills hotel but at this price it was clean and convenient

A pleasant stay, very quiet hotel. Easily accessible even after the reception hours. Bus stops nearby make it easy for tourists to navigate throughout the city.

We even found an apple tree! Also felt good to contribute to a local business. We got an extra bed per request with no worries. All fitted well in a two bed room

Very nice place especially if you are with kids. The dinner positively surprised us with the variety in options. Delicious Kvass! Kids lived an opportunity to run around and have a swing before an early flight

Good balance between quality and price

I only stayed one night because I had an early flight, it's very close to the airport. The room was very big and comfortable. You can drink free tea and coffee in the restaurant/bar. 24h reception

While the view is really nice, in autumn this hotel is almost non-functional: for the breakfasts it served packages of dry food instead the breakfasts, and despite formally it provides access to the internet, at least in some rooms it is non-accessible

It was certainly awful because at first I thought that I had some kind of blood because it looked like blood and I understand that somewhere there was probably a friend repair, but they had to warn about it what sweat when I went to the shower and wiped the towels were all red, it was certainly not very pleasant because I still don’t even know maybe then this allergy at the reception would say about...

A little bit far from the city center (15 min by a bus), but the transfer is easy if you buy bus tickets ahead (there is no way to pay for transportation nearby or online)

We stayed at Rija VEF Hotel from September 18, 2025 (around 5 PM) until September 20 (4 AM). Our room was clean, and the breakfast was fine, though we expected a bit more variety (they made sure to refill the food)

On the positives: - breakfast is good - decent size room, with amenities you would find in 4****/business hotels - smiling, helpful, cheerful reception staff - very convenient location, lots of public transport available to go to the center/sea in 15-20 minutes - large size bed with decent mattress

Getting to the hotel also takes some time — about 20 minutes from the Central Bus Station by taxi due to a long U-turn, and roughly the same by tram from the Old Town (around 9 stops)

Very spacious rooms right in Old Town with super single beds! The staff was super friendly and recommended us to visit the St Peter’s Cathedral next door and it was such a beautiful place to get a bird’s eye view of old town

Staff are friendly and forthcoming. Rooms are well cleaned and tidy. I asked to change the room, because the aircon seemed a bit noisy, and got it changed immediately, no questions asked, to a quieter room

However the toilet had a strange stench for some reason. Would have been better if the TVs are smart TVs. But still a great place overall

Rooms were stylish and comftorable and so was the whole hotel. Only missing thing was restaurant, there was only bar offering sandwitches and salads. Luckily the location was so good that we found great restaurant nearby
