I'd say quiet (airport and highway are not next door). Very clean, shower has proper water, bed was good. Breakfast was no-fault average continental, and included rye bread

If you need to go to airport from the hotel, you need to cross a "highway" to get to the bus. The lady on the reception said, that there is no proper way to get to this bus station, so I had to take taxi

Nice hotel with large rooms. You can park your car there with additional cost while going to the holidays.

€20 parking per day with in/out privilege, which I think is about the same as anywhere else. Haven't eaten at restaurant, but supposed to be quite good. Probably one of the best hotels in Riga

Secure Parking just steps away. The room is spacious, everything you need is there. The Windows facing the street with local boutiques, on the weekends it's fair of farm produce and goods

Overall a fairly comfortable hotel. In the heart of Riga, just across the square from the railway station. The rooms are clean and cozy. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Lovely sauna and pool.

Very kind Reservation Manager, friendly staff. Rooms are quite small, but the floor heating in the bathroom is fantastic! What a feeling of comfort and wellness. Btw, SPA center clean and well served.

We stayed in a room with a balcony. The room was a bit cold on arrival, but there was a heater in the closet and with that it was quite comfortable

They probably do it because the SPA area is small and could struggle to accommodate everyone, but in that case they should be crystal clear about this practice while booking, because honestly if we knew it wasn't included we'd have probably booked another hotel

There are many reviews pointing this out and yet nothing has been changed, which makes me believe it's sadly intentional. Rooftop bar is ok, nothing crazy, just a normal bar, there are better ones in the city center

The second day I skipped the breakfast in the hotel since I just felt it would be a waste of time and went to eat at a local cafe that had good breakfast for a good price The hotel had someone that made pancakes on order, but you needed to stay in a line and it would take around 10min just to get some pancakes

The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with a huge variety and a chef in the middle cooking eggs and pancakes, which added an authentic touch. The drinks were also excellent, and the spa was fantastic

The best hotel and Riga

Breakfast service not good - there was special area for ice hookey team without any signs that its restricted area for other persons to have breakfast

It was quieter on weekdays so that was good. Coffee was great on the first day but on the second, I selected cappuccino and no milk was dispensed! However, the machine was fixed after I spoke to staff

They had a liquid soap dispenser by the sink but it kept leaking, so on day 2 it had all leaked away onto the worktop and it needed refilled and on day 3 they didn't refill it at all, so we used our own soap

Great location, but the room was a quite small. Bed was a bit worn and wasn't that comfortable. It made a loud creaking, banging noise every time we got in or out of bed and if we turned in bed

We tried turning it off and changing the settings but nothing worked as there seemed to be residual power and it was still running. Luckily the buzzing stopped by the time we went to sleep

You also have to hang out a door sign to request for your room to be cleaned each day. Only there was no sign provided! Really, cleaning should be opt-out rather than opt-in

On our final night, we returned to the room to find a loud buzzing/alarm noise every few mins from the air conditioning

Though i asked in advance to prefill any necessary papers because arriving in the middle of the night and get access to our room as soon as possible , we had to do a full checkin , filling and signing papers even for children

Very long process which , I am quite sure of that, could have been either anticipated or maybe postponed on the day after We ve been perfectly shown to our family room which has a (very) high ceiling with old (very) dusty curtains around the windows Bedding was excellent and road noise isolation from the window perfect (2 main roads passing by), but which was clearly not the case from the inside isolation...

) This makes me come to the hotel restaurant which at that period of the year was actually closed ! Clearly a big disappointment as we this was also one of our reason to stay at this hotel, and we learned that just some days before our arrival so too late to change (booking was made months ago) Talking of the booking process, i did it by direct chat with the hotel from their website with full and...

The sauna had to be switched on by ourselves every time we came , which meant that we couldn’t enjoy it as a sauna must be enjoyed (hot) Finally the balneo shower could not be accessed as the glass door was blocked on the floor

Staff was servicing but very seldom (many thanks to the one we met); they made us alas sometimes more think of «night guards» than a huge 5 star hotel team ; kind of «Shining» spirit where you just never meet anyone

I will not talk here about Riga which is a fabulous city. Nicely welcomed by the driver , we arrived quickly at the hotel in our outdated serviced Mercedes (one of the most expensive transfer per kilometer btw)

The hotel inside of Casino House. Room was tremendous in size, looked really good same as in pictures. They let bring the dog, for extra charge 60€ on booking but reception wanted to charge 70€
