Let's come clean, not everything was bad at all. I liked tasty breakfast, minimalistic style of hotel rooms, presence of iron in every single room and a settlement of hotel and thus a nice views. The first problem was a horrible functionality of elevators. It's not normal to wait for "your ride" more like 10 minutes. Had to use fire escape stairs several times on my way down from 12th floor. Another...
Very average experience. Reception staff was impolite, lacking in manners. Shower had an empty shower gel container (as we had a big group with several rooms booked, others also reported the same). Trash bin was not emptied. In addition, rooms are old with signs of wear, though it does not affect the rating. Also, found out that I qualified for spa centre based on my room selection, had I known that...
The rooftop bar has great views and is worth visiting. However, it was a bit awkward when the waiter gave us the menu, and we found that the food options were limited and not suitable for us. After sitting for just 5 minutes, we awkwardly returned the menu and left to find another restaurant. The waiter was very friendly.
I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel and had a mostly positive experience. The location is fantastic, being close to the old town, major tourist attractions, and a variety of restaurants. The highlight of the hotel is the Sky Lounge on the 26th floor, which offers stunning 360-degree views of the city. I highly recommend visiting at sunset and for night views – it’s incredible. The hotel also...
Average experience and some alarming practices that make me confident in saying we won't be returning. As for the stay - everything was fairly average. Rooms and halls are starting to show their age. There are some weird and uncomfortable solutions probably because of the age of the building as well, like having to change elevators or being asked to not wear bathrobes on the way to the SPA because...
Modern style! Very good breakfast, has chef omlete stand and a lot of choice available. Nice and clean rooms. The best view of the old city.

Three of us checked in. I asked for the biggest room and a nice view since I'm staying a day longer than my colleagues. Unfortunately, I received a room with a view into a wall, which is okay. What's not okay is that I ended up with the smallest room among us, with a desk half the size of those in the other rooms, and the only one with a bathroom featuring a small shower, while the others have showers...
always when i come to Riga i will stay here. Its amazing hotel with helpful and polite people. Super clean. Nice spa👍🏼👍🏼. Nice location. Rooms are good with conditioners 👍🏼 Amazing view from riverside. I run away from horrible 5 star hotel to Welton riverside and i am happy and relieved. Thank you. LP
I booked a river side view room for three days. Beautiful view but bare in mind you'll get little to no sleep with the noise outside. From cars, to people shouting. Secondly it's two single beds pushed together, for a 4 star hotel expected much better comfort. Location walking distance to old town riga. Breakfast was lovely. Hotel called a taxi for me and journey that I paid €6 two days prior cost...
I want to thank the staff for the incredible service we received during our stay. A special thanks to Anton who helped us when we had issues with our booking and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with a huge variety and a chef in the middle cooking eggs and pancakes, which added an authentic touch. The drinks were also excellent, and the...
Great hotel to stay in Riga Old Town. Central location, clean & modern hotel. Staffs were friendly & helpful too. Special shout out to Veronika at the front desk who were really thoughtful & helpful in trying to find my lost items. She went well above & beyond. Recommended hotel to stay in Riga. Will be back!
The location of the hotel was excellent. Right next to the old town. The rooms were modern and clean. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I strongly recommend! Unfortunately, the spa was under maintenance during our visit, so we have no experience with it, at least it looks great in the pictures!

Great stay! Nearby all the sites. Clean and modern hotel. Friendly staff. Good breakfast (€15, depending on your booking). Very walkable area. Near the bus depot, Central Market, and old town. Would stay again.
Cute modern hotel in a great spot in the old town. Rooms very clean and the staff super friendly and accommodating. I haven't tried their spa services but they looked great and in good prices.
Clean and nice room. The breakfast was good and whit quite good selection. Dear Dmitrijs, thank you for acknowledging the review I wrote. However, the answer seems to be quite automatic, because you didn't take a stand on why your service only got three points. However, service is the lifeblood of the hotel industry. Have a nice day 😃
Great location in the centre of the old town, everything is in good walking distance. The room was lovely with a full mini fridge, although it does cost. The breakfast was delicious, great variety with tasty desserts as well.
Meh, would not recommend. We came in the middle of the day to find out that there was no one at the reception desk at sight. When the receptionist finally came he was looking pissed off and gloomy, and the overall check-in process took more than 10 mins even though we were the only 2 guests in the lobby. Rooms are small and super-basic. Access both to the pool area and spa is paid, 18 eur per person...
Nice how the hotel is located close to the city and also very nice breakfast, but all of a sudden the fire alarm were set off out of nowhere, and we were told that someone was vaping/smoking inside. Also we were told very late that the water in the shower we’re going to be cold all from 10 pm to 10 am (10-22) but would eventually come back, which it never did, so we had to shower in cold water all...

I recently stayed at Wellton Riga Hotel & Spa and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and well-maintained, childfriendly, with a welcoming atmosphere and comfortable rooms that made me feel at home. Spa was perfect and provided a relaxing escape after a day of exploring. I’d like to give special thanks to the senior receptionist, Inga, for her professional...
Brilliant 5 course breakfasts inclusive in a medium sized local Spa hotel right in the centre of Riga. 10 minute walk to trains or buses or to many reasonable restaurants and the spectacular sights of the old city. Riga is a smorgasbord of culture, food and architectural history and this is the very reasonably priced perfect place to stay.
I would expect a bit more from a 4-star hotel: The air conditioning in the room is very weak and couldn't effectively cool the room even at an outside temperature of 25-26°C. The ventilation system is loud and cannot be turned off, so we could only sleep with earplugs. The minibar (small refrigerator) is not cold, maintaining a temperature of around 10-15°C, so if you buy yogurt or other perishable...
The hotel is great and very modern. We enjoyed our stay. We have a toddler, and we liked that the hotel has a little indoor play area of babies and toddlers. Spa is great, but you need to pay extra to use the spa. Spa includes 2 saunas, pool but pool is on a small size and jacuzzi. Rooms are cosy and very clean. Rooms have a mini bar in the fridge, which is handy. We really enjoyed our stay. Will...
Hotel and our room was very pleasant. Air conditioning in the room didn't work well enough, it was a bit uncomfortable to sleep during this hot weather. Location really good, restaurants and the beautiful old town is just around the corner. Breakfast was excellent. The information about the parking could have been better. It was not easy at all. We were given instructions how to get to a parking area...
Rooms are sparse. TV is small. Elevator is slow. Personnel are pleasant but not very helpful. Since there are policies against drinking your own wine, you must buy theirs. Red wine adverised/listed @E18 not available. When requested they indicated not their responsibility, rather the Restaurant. I requested a short extension cord....not available and they did not care enough to ask maintenance. On...

The location is great - close to tram/train/bus and walking distance to old town. Quite charming as well but not by any means particularly comfortable. The beds are very hard and the AC was not adjustable (except the fan speed but I'm still unsure if it was actually cooling or heating...). You could open the windows but it was quite noisy from a nearby night club. Breakfast was ok. Not the best selection...
This hotel is fabulous. The location is perfect for exploring Riga on foot. The room was very spacious and the ensuite was large and had a really good shower. The complimentary bottles of water which were left every day were a nice touch. The noise from the trams didn't bother us too much. The breakfasts are amazing with so much choice. My only minor complaint is that a couple of mornings when I asked...
A lovely hotel - stories of noise from the tram are greatly exaggerated unless you’ve very sensitive hearing! Shame the restaurant and bar are closed every Sunday and Monday as sometimes you just don’t want to have to go out and explore.
A lovely historical hotel. Great location and clean, charming, modern rooms. Excellent breakfast and breakfast mimosas for those wishing to start their day off with a kick! Excellent coffee as well. Check out at 12noon was also a great comfort for us as we were taking it slow
As regular visitors to Riga, we were so pleased to try out the Metropole. We were not dissapointed. The check in was very efficient and the pleasant lady on reception gave us all the information we needed. Lovely comfortable and well equipped room overlooking the inner courtyard. The breakfast is substantive. The whole team at this Hotel were friendly and professional. Nicely located for the market...
Very cozy hotel. Rooms were stylish and comftorable and so was the whole hotel. Breakfast was very tasty. Only missing thing was restaurant, there was only bar offering sandwitches and salads. Luckily the location was so good that we found great restaurant nearby. Deffinately we will go back there when visiting amazing Riga again!

Handy for the maritime Uni....rooms basic
Nice, smal place to have buiseness lunch!
Relatively basic but comfortable hotel situated right nextdoor to the Maritime training Center Noviconta, very handy if your on a training course. It’s only a short taxi or bus journey into Riga Center. There’s also a spa Center and bowling alley within the hotel.
To be honest, I expected a little more from this hotel because for 80 euros one could offer much more comforts in the room than what I received firstly. The TV worked badly. In my opinion, 9 channels often the Internet and cable television also disappeared during when I came to wash my hands it was red water. It was certainly awful because at first I thought that I had some kind of blood because it...

This stay is not our first stay in a 5 star hotel and based on our own experiences so what could have been a 5 star stay clearly has been missed . The hotel is amazing with its architecture inside and location to the center. The rooms are really specious with a fireplace. Every detail in this hotel is unique and well preserved. Breakfast could have been better for this class of hotels
Well once you enter the hotel and take a look at the reception the feeling of grandeur overwhelms you. This feeling is quite short-lived and soon it's overcome with shoddy service and very ordinary rooms. The hotel furniture is quite dated and while the hotel boasts of 5 star accommodation and service and charges appropriately for it, I would still say it's nothing more than a 3.5 star hotel. Look...
This hotel was great, the beds were very comfortable and so were the pillows. The rooms vary as the some rooms(mainly on the 4th floor) are more modern than the others which are more classical. My room was one of the more modern rooms which was very nice and neat. There was one room separated by a glass wall which was like a living room with a couch and desk and in the room opposite of the living room...
I would like to thank Hotel for our staying in Riga. - At first we was surprised when we saw fantastic decor. Most of the Hotel's premises and rooms have high hand-painted ceilings, firepalces and beautiful antique chandeliers. - Good location. They let bring the dog, for extra charge 60€ on booking but reception wanted to charge 70€.. when told that I chat on Booking she said fine for 60€… weird. Beautiful, large room. Delicious food. :)
Sophisticated interior, very clean, window from bedroom to shower adds an extraordinary experience for couples. Would like to come back.
Nice rooms. Spa available for extra cost, but also nice. I would be cautious with the bouncers at night.
+ Cool rooms, comfy in baroque stile. + Good carpets and bed sheets. +Soft mattress. +Very good bathroom in marble. -Hall on the floors not stylish. -Soft furniture needs to be updated. -Very stinky elevator. Strong smell of cigarettes, strange.
Great place and great service. The service is good and fast. Breakfast is delicious, room cleanliness is excellent!

Very good hotel in the center of Riga, classical style spacious rooms, the stuff is nice and the breakfast is very good. Hotel is in the area of extremely expensive parking. You can park a bit further away in different zone or use a closed parking area that costs 30euro per day.
The facilities might be old but that's it: they no longer bear any medieval charms. The staff are just there and will not care about you. The rooms could be way cleaner. And if you want to have any sleep at all, keep away: even triple window panes won't save you from the crowd and music in the street. All in all, it's an honest 3-stars spot not even trying for more.
Classified as a 4 star hotel but by no means better than 3 star. If 4 star or 2 star I would say 2 star. Location is good, the rooms are clean but too small with limited space for luggage. The hotel entrance is difficult if you carry heavy bags. Acceptable hotel but once again, not a 4 star hotel.
Hotel is lovely. Right in the old town centre, about 200 metres from St Peters Church. All other sites are within walking distance.??
Very cute hotel in an awesome location. You can’t hear anything from the party street outside thanks to the tripple windows. Only minus is the coffee (tastes horrible).
We stayed only one night. It was very nice. Nice staff, clean room, close to bus stop , good Breakfast. Recommend. Tatiana

Very good low price hotel , use many time , I really like this place. Using every time when I need hotel in Riga , situated very good close to Airport and taxi prices not more than 7 €.
Very nice place , close to airaport what was great for me. Friendly stuff Only was to hot to sleep in room But apart from that I liked my visit here Recommended Thank you !
For what we needed (place to sleep and store luggage while we toured) this place was great. Very plain facilities but close to airport and easy to get to town. Price was right, the staff friendly and helpful.
Pure budget hotel. Perfect if you just need a place to crash close to the airport. Can't ask for more than a room and breakfast. No complaints. Good value for money.
Stayed there for one night, nice place with good breakfast choises. Had minor problems with shower there.
Close to airport: 5€ by taxi, but it is possible to transfer ( when booking you need to write it).
