Waking up to that scenery was truly a highlight! Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with plenty of choices to satisfy every taste. The beach was another great perk – clean, peaceful, and just steps away from the hotel

The staff were all exceptional. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. A special mention also goes to the waiter at the bar – very professional, polite and kind

One of the most beautiful beaches in the Montenegro with all luxury you can imagine. Friendly staff, tasty food and various drinks are served on the beach for reasonable prices. Highly recommend this place.

Great Location , right next to the old town of Ulcinj. Beatiful beach with great service. The rooms are very large each with a large terrace where u can enjoy your mornings & evenings. BIG recommend !

Nice place with maybe the best view in Ulcinj. Stay at this hotel is a mix of history and romantic feeling. Hotel is not a 5 star hotel but the feeling you get walking around this special place is fantastic

Nice place, good views over the ocean, good rooms, food good price-quality. Noise from the city until 1am, but that is a problem for all hotels around the city. Be aware it is in a medieval town, so no cars allowed.

Starting from the little things, this hotel is one of the bests in Ulcinj. The views, the staff, the food, the accomodation and a lot of other services make this hotel a worth visiting one

It’s the best view for me, drinking something from their restaurant terrace or walking along that historic yard! They made me one of the best ( ! ) coffees 😉

I recently stayed at Pirate Hotel in Montenegro, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making sure every part of my stay was comfortable

Rooms are absolutely amazing, the view of the sea is gorgeous, staff is polite and the food.. so delicious. They also make the best coffee and the atmosphere is very comfy. If you come to Ulcinj make sure you visit this!

This location is super good but be cautious about the hills and the stairs as to get to and from the main strip you have to walk multiple stairs up and down

Clean, private and the only negative was loud mosque just beside the building woke us up at 4.

Property is very near the beach, which is very convenient for families with small children. Property is next to local seaman's mosque, which makes you fell like you are at home

Property is on walking distance from Old Town, and other historical sites, like Pasha's mosque

The pool- again super clean and well maintained and super fun! You can sit around and chill under the sun which I’m sure is loved by many

The people that run the show- a sweet family who make you feel warm and welcomed. Gazz speaks perfect and even better English than us so it made it ideal since we aren’t very fluent with the local language

I absolutely loved our stay here because- 1. The location ofcourse, it’s probably the highest point of ulcinj, giving us the best view and there was also a masjid beside us at a rock throwing distance

And let’s not forget, quite a humorous person indeed. The rooms- absolutely cozy and sparkling clean. Hot water was accessible through the day

Amazing staff! Perfect location looking over the sea in the old town! This is the location to stay in. They have a really nice restaurant where you can have fish for dinner and a great omelette and coffee for breakfast

They are renovating all the rooms - the rooms that are done are really nice. Many of the rooms have balconys. They told me that they will have all the rooms done next year. Really recommend to stay here

There is a bus that takes u evey morning to the pearl beach and takes u back to the hotel. if you dont want to go to the pearl beach you can go to the mini beach itd really near the hotel

3 star hotel with some ocean views

We had a great time at Hotel Lion, a family of five. Room cleanness, breakfast, pool, young, resourceful and dedicated staff… we will sure be back. Strongly recommended to stay and relax.

We stayed in hotel Lion 3 nights and we were very satisfied. Very friendly and helpful stuff. from reception, room service, waiters. We had a room with wide bed 200 x 200 what is not so usual in this region

Rooms were well equipped with anything needed and that staff was more than happy to equip and adjust to our needs. Beds were soft and you were sure to have a good nights rest

Let me talk about the greenery at the back you could tell that the staff took there time on it, it was lovely and had a huge range of different plants vegetables and fruits

This BB was obviously run by a family and they were all so friendly and attentive to us. Will definitely be back and highly recommend to everyone

I cannot stress enough how much did we like everything, the lovely wooden cabins, the amazing resting area with beautiful seating areas and hammocks, the quietness of the place in the middle of the olive trees with gorgeous views of the Adriatic sea

We enjoyed the quite and calmness of the place. There were olive trees all around us. We spend hours sitting under these trees and enjoying together as a family

Excellent Fish we had here you will never have it in restaurants all over Montenegro Property is very well maintained and managed. Swimming pool located on top of the property with magnificent views on Adriatic sea

we spent 2 nights at hotel maris. one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever been to! view on the old town (by foot it will take you 7 minutes to go there, to ulcinj promenade it will be a 12 minutes walk)

a peaceful place and incredibly nice decorated. we loved the colors and details! pool on the rooftop terrace and a nice beach (liman 1) with cristal clear water in front of the hotel. if we can, we will return for sure!

Be sure to ask for pool water temperature if you are staying in the suite with pool, for some it might be hot for some it might be cold so its best to ask upfront :) I hope we will have the chance to visit AM Palace again

It was our first time in Ulcinj, and AM Palace met our expectations. Newly build building, with superb breakfast, and great terrace. We appriciated the halal sign for the food that was served as breakfast

The neighbourhood is quite, but a bit unfinished infrastructure (I can not give AM Palace negative points for that, manicipality Ulcinj should invest more)

There is ~1,8km to Barbossa beach on Velika Plaža from AM Palace, so about ~15min walk on flat ground, and ~3min drive. Greeting from Sarajevo! 🇧🇦 Keep up the good work

This hotel is elegant, comfortable and reasonably priced. We made a last minute reservation here and I’m glad we did. The staff is very friendly, the room is spacious and very clean

Good things: clean room and people who work there, transport to the beach. Bad things: the breakfast was the same every day and not so good, the hotel is located near the street and it was very noisy
