Thanks to google and all the people who contributed and continue to write about reviews. I always look at google reviews prior to booking as a key guide. That said: Hotel Zan is by far one of the places I would love to visit again. As we arrived a bit late, around midnight to be exact, we were greeted by the owner himself, Mr. Tony Curanaj. He was very welcoming and made us feel at home in no time...

Top hotel

It was a diffirent experiment. Bcz hotel is in outside the city. You'll go to sea nearly 10mins by foot. Foods are normal. Not good or not bad. But no restaurant around the hotel.

Affordable, new, clean, very close to the beach. Nice service. Need to invest on WiFi speed and coverage, especially during busy period. Overall, very good experience.

Absolutely amazing place. Service was wonderful, the staff genuinely wonderful. The views from the rooms are spectacular, and the rooms themselves are very comfortable. Only issue is the nightclubs in Ulcinj, which apparently don't have any noise pollution regulations, as despite being a kilometre away, even with windows and shutters closed, you can still hear every word of the utterly awful music...

Good things: clean room and people who work there, transport to the beach. Bad things: the breakfast was the same every day and not so good, the hotel is located near the street and it was very noisy. The cleaning women worked late at night and in the early morning. Not so good for resting.

This hotel is elegant, comfortable and reasonably priced. We made a last minute reservation here and I’m glad we did. The staff is very friendly, the room is spacious and very clean. In the morning we could eat a very nice breakfast wich was included in the price and the food was fresh. Also the place of the hotel is perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

I was wisting restaurant only with family, for drinks, hence my review is related with restauran, and not with hotel in general. What sells this restoran is view. You can enjoy your drinks or food, while having a really nice beach and sea view on your side. Service is really good as well.

Right on the strip across from Small Beach. Be prepared for a raucous time if you stay ANYwhere near the strip. Night time rocks...including the walls and windows, but that is Ulcinj, not the hotel. Hotel was pleasant, clean and staff very friendly and professional.

The hotel is a new building which is really nice and well maintained and clean. The pool and the rooms are all in top condition and there is nothing to complain about. The hotel manager is also a very nice woman who takes a lot of time for her guests and even had a coffee with us in the morning and chatted. The other staff was friendly too. Very clean, new hotel! The staff is great and takes care of all requests, we felt very comfortable and welcome! The accommodation itself is new and equipped with everything necessary, the rooms are large and kept very clean! The pool and the gym are cleaned daily and are in top condition. The sea is only a few minutes' drive away, it is about 10/15 minutes on foot. We would come back here anytime!...

Quiet and modern location, private parking, welcoming and sociable host.

First impression of my room was not pleasant since the toilet was not clean. The location is good if you have a car, but if you want closer to the beach, its 30min walk (even though transfer could be offered, sometimes you do want go to beach later and there wont be a transfer). The food is okayish, for the breakfast is enough, but after a week you will be get tired of same food. The noice isolation...

Stayed in the main building and the rooms were spotless and well presented. Staff very courteous and helpful. Pool lovely, free Wi-Fi good, and the manager is very kind. Would recommend to any potential UK visitors.

The hotel has a superb view, as soon as we arrived we had a pleasant feeling that came true, the location has its own parking and you don't have to waste your time looking for a parking space, at the reception we were greeted by a nice boy with a lot of common sense who showed us the garage...

Lovely hotel, great service, the manager and his nephew in the reception are perfect hosts and provided excellent service. As the wife and breakfast lady. Clean rooms, confy beds in a spacous apartment. We enjoyed our week in Ulcinj a lot, good food, daily excursions and wonderful weather. We strongly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for a short trip, and it was great. Everything about it was as it is described. And the view from the apartment was something not to be missed. Thanks to the owner for helping us with everything we needed. Would recommend it to everyone and will be coming back for a longer stay.

It was our first time in Ulcinj, and AM Palace met our expectations. Newly build building, with superb breakfast, and great terrace. We appriciated the halal sign for the food that was served as breakfast. The neighbourhood is quite, but a bit unfinished infrastructure (I can not give AM Palace negative points for that, manicipality Ulcinj should invest more). There is ~1,8km to Barbossa beach on Velika...

Beautifully located with amazing and most beautiful views of the city, superbly clean and a very helpful and polite stuff. We loved it and definitely we’re going back. I strongly recommend this place :)

Perfect hotel

Best hotel, best view, the man in the reception is an asset to the hotel, his name was Rudi. Clean, nice big rooms with this breathtaking sea view of Ulcinj. Very nice staff. 5 stars more than deserved, this is my second time here and I honestly have to say the hotel has done well. Keep it up!!!!! Always happy!

Very calm ambiente, nice green spaces with hammock, seating and tables. Separated pool with Seaview. Lovely breakfast Tabele (Buffet) with a wide variety of bakery and vegetables. Tasty dinner on nice terrace for guests possible. Oldest Olive Tree of Montenegro sits on the farm.

Superb. The cottage is enough to relax, very calm and with a unique view. It should be noted that a portion of the road is unpaved. The place is located in the middle of an olive grove. The owner and the lady at the reception are hospitable, even if it rained since the morning they made it possible for us not to leave without having breakfast

This location is super good but be cautious about the hills and the stairs as to get to and from the main strip you have to walk multiple stairs up and down. If you are unfit or have trouble climbing...

Rooms are absolutely amazing, the view of the sea is gorgeous, staff is polite and the food.. so delicious. They also make the best coffee and the atmosphere is very comfy. If you come to Ulcinj make sure you visit this!

I want to thank all Hotel Pirate staff for their hospitality, especially the owner Hasan. We stayed there between the dates 17-20 of june 2022 and we had the best room with a stunning view. We definately will be back. Thank you again!

The team here want you to have a good stay, as much as Michael Jordan wanted another basket...he was as driven as these guys are. It wasn't smooth sailing for us...a few technical hiccups. But the room was a pleasure to rise with, and the breakfast excellent...a truly great omelette. 5* isn't for a perfect experience. It's for a perfectly lovely place to stay.

Amazing is a word that can describe this place. Location is very good, and view from this place is for sure one of the best in Ulcinj. Apartments are cozy and great. You can feel that this is family business with a tradition. They have a pool, open bar terrace, jacuzzi, sauna, free wifi in whole area. Named you can have it. Great place.

This hotel is just perfect, a wonderful view of adriatic sea, the apartments are really cool. I spent 2 weeks there with my best friend and her brother, and we add really good time there. The city center is close, around 10mn by foot, if you are not a sport addict, you can go or come back by taxi, it's cheap. I said sport addict, because Tati appartment is on top of the mountain, so going to the center...

The right choice for a vacation in Ulcinj

A very nice place to stay in the Ulcijn old town. It has an incredible sea view. The hosts are very sweet, good and helpful. Rooms and bathroom are clean.

We came here for lunch, the host was wonderfully accommodating and the food was delicious. Would recommend if you’re visiting old town.
