The hotel is located on the rock upon the small city beach which is a 10 min walk away. The staff is very friendly. We had a delicious dinner there and te breakfast which was nothing special but ok. The rooms are bit old style and need some refurbishment. Strange blankets. No toiletries, no caffe, no water. All is all is ok but lack a lot of amenieties for a 4star hotel.

I only came for a few hours to use the spa facilities which were excellent along with the entire hotel; fit for royalty! The owner was generous enough to give me a brief tour and should I ever return to Montenegro, will definitely consider this accommodation especially as it’s central.

We visited the Montefila Hotel in early September 2024. We bought the trip at an attractive price, so we didn't expect gold doorknobs, and we went with that attitude. Every guest is warmly welcomed at the Hotel Montefila. The rooms all have a balcony and have a nice, modern bathroom. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. Infitity pools were nice, the beach wasn't really walkable from the huge rocks---very slippery. Nothing to do besides swimming and sitting. If you have small kids or you're old, I imagine it's nice. It's a great place to visit for a couple of hours, not something I wpuld recommend staying longer.

We arrived at this hotel for just one night and were put in room 329. Our room was very nice with a balcony. The hotel was on the beach and also there were three pools and one inside pool! We had the best meal of our two week holiday. Pasta with sauce, veal liver, beef mince, rice. The restaurant was very large and there was plenty of good hot food. Good evening I'm currently staying at the Azul and @ 10.27pm this evening no ice and no white rum. Food for the breakfast buffet still cold, unfortunately, previous comments had been acknowledged about the issue with cold food being served but not heeded. Important that all good consumed should be hot to avoid any food poisoning issues

Stayed 19th May for 7 days, we were upgraded to the Premium section which was a nice surprise to start our holiday, the resort is spotlessly clean and well maintained throughout. If I had one comment to make it would be to invest in ways to keep the food hot, every day the food was tepid, in the end we eat at the premium pool bar as the food was cooked to order. You will always find this place friendly and relaxing. You can hang at the deck bar with a fresh made coffee, with a beautiful and unique sea view experience. I love to walk from hotel villa to another, the landscape is huge and there are so many gardens with fresh bloomed flowers. The pool area offers a cozy lounge area. You are 5 minutes walking distance from the beach. Perfect for guests and visitors

Very clean, new hotel! The staff is great and takes care of all requests, we felt very comfortable and welcome! The accommodation itself is new and equipped with everything necessary, the rooms are large and kept very clean! The pool and the gym are cleaned daily and are in top condition. Friendly welcome, nice view, the hotel owns the most romantic beach in town ( in my point of view). I did not like the monotonous breakfast and that the restaurants are 10-15 mins far from the hotel. Overall, Ulcinj is a small jewelry box of Montenegro, and the hotel placed in an enjoyable part of it.

Stayed here a few years ago and the owner followed us around everywhere we went. Very creepy. We could have stayed anywhere we wanted as our family is from the area. We chose this place bc it has a nice pool with a nice view. The owner told us not to get in and out of the pool bc we are wasting water. Imagine that. The breakfast was mediocre. We were forced to move our cars multiple times at random...

There is a bus that takes u evey morning to the pearl beach and takes u back to the hotel.if you dont want to go to the pearl beach you can go to the mini beach...

Hotel Senator was amazing! Really helpful and kind staff who spoke English incredibly well. They even gave me a choice of room - view versus size. The location is perfect to get to all the places in Ulcinj and the view was gorgeous. The breakfast buffet was also very well stocked, and there's unlimited coffee ☕

The hotel has a superb view, as soon as we arrived we had a pleasant feeling that came true, the location has its own parking and you don't have to waste your time looking for a parking space, at the reception we were greeted by a nice boy with a lot of common sense who showed us the garage...

Clean rooms, confy beds in a spacous apartment. We enjoyed our week in Ulcinj a lot, good food, daily excursions and wonderful weather. We strongly recommend this hotel.

Excellent experience. Very peaceful accommodation. We enjoyed the quite and calmness of the place. There were olive trees all around us. We spend hours sitting under these trees and enjoying together as a family. It's is family run business and the owner is very friendly and humble.

Superb. The cottage is enough to relax, very calm and with a unique view. It should be noted that a portion of the road is unpaved. The place is located in the middle of an olive grove. The owner and the lady at the reception are hospitable, even if it rained since the morning they made it possible for us not to leave without having breakfast

Amazing family owned hotel would recommend to anyone visiting ulcinj! Clean rooms,beautiful pool, great family who take care of the guests and truely care!

The nice owner, clean in rooms, air-conditioners in every room. Swimming pool next to apartments. A lot of shops around and near is a tasty restaurant that the owner recommends. Also you can order some food in Blue Star. Beach is quite near too. Feel free to ask the owner about some tips to take a taxi, rent a car our ideas for a long trips.

Last summer we were here with my family. On and off every day was chaotic. It was hardly possible to turn to the parking lot. The panorama from the terrace was breathtaking. But I wouldn't call a accommodation for a child friendly. I was 2 years old with the younger child. There was a barrier on the terrace in some places, the depths below us ... there wasn't much space to finish the construction downhill...

Nice view. Private beach and pool. Steep climb though, over 200 stairs. Rocky beach. Rocks quite sharp. Apts are dated. Kitchen and bathroom make u claustrophobic. There is literally no space to turn around. Landlords are very nice and helpful. AC is useless at night unless u want it blowing into ur head. Almost a mile to the sand beach at city center. I'd say 2 and half stars at best.

A really good hotel in a peaceful and quiet area only about 5 min away from Long beach by foot, or 15 min from a "larger" selection of restaurants. The hotel is run by a family who really puts in the effort of making your stay exceptional.
