Mellieha, Marfa Road 🧭 Map
Stayed August for 10 days.. upgraded to executive studio. Stunning rooms , cleaned everyday, bed linen and towels changed everyday. This was our first time to Malta. 100% return to Luna complex, lovely staff, spotless clean. 10 days was not enough to explore all the island.
Had an amazing stay for a wedding at Luna. We booked one of the superior rooms and it was large, spacious and modern. Only giving four stars as plug in bathroom was a little broken and balcony was not very private. The staff at Luna are honestly fantastic. They were so kind and helpful, putting up with a very noisy wedding party like champs. Would stay again, great value for money. Sky lounge is...
Our room were modern and very nice - very large and nice bathroom. Cleaning every day if you want, fresh towels every day. Personal in the bar and reception was very kind and helpful. The location is perfect - close to the beach and many restaurants nearby. Rooftop pool with nice facilities. In general very happily surprised with our stay at Luna Hotel! Live music almost every evening.
A great hotel in a fab location. Staff really nice and friendly. Rooftop pool was fabulous and plenty of sun loungers - note we were here in June. We didn’t eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food. The room (standard double) was a really good size with a small kitchenette and the bathroom was fine - could do with a bit of an update but really good value for money. Room was clean and towels changed...
On our way home from a wonderful stay at the Luna Hotel. We were self catering in the Executive Superior room. Brand new refurbished, beautiful room. Nice view over the hill. We ate out all week, only ate food from hotel bar once. Great portion of fish and chips, and good chicken burger and chips for hubby. Would recommend a stay here. Defo will be returning 😎
I have stayed in this hotel before some years ago, and since then, they have upgraded their facilities. My first impressions were that this hotel was great value considering what I payed. A top rated 3 star establishment.

We stayed here for a week and it was absolutely amazing. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. The hotel was great, lots of bars and restaurants to choose from and the food was delicious 😋 It was our first time in Malta but it won't be our last. To top our holiday off, we watched the turtles hatch on the beach....amazing!
Very friendly staff, amazing food (especially the desserts are incredible!), nice beach. Little negative: Pricing at the little supermarket is ridiculously expensive. Lot of stones at the first 5m into the sea.
Definitely one of the best - if not THE best hotel in Malta in terms of location, away from the somewhat overcrowded area around the capital. The fact that it overlooks one of the island's best beaches is a plus - and the view is beautiful. A fantastic place to relax. Rooms and facilities are great; lots of fine restaurants; a fantastic breakfast buffet and good staff.
Just returned from 4-night stay at the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa at Golden Sands and I must say that I enjoyed every moment. All the members of the staff I came across, were so friendly and welcoming and they make sure that all guests are well taken care of. I have to mention especially Henri, the Guest Experience Manager, who welcomed each guest, each morning at breakfast, with a friendly smile and...
We stayed at this wonderful hotel for our first wedding anniversary, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. We knew this hotel because we had our rehearsal dinner here last year, and the service was excellent then, so we thought it would be great to stay here as well. The check-in was smooth, and the staff welcomed us warmly. Reserving a dinner place was easy, and the restaurant host...
A large hotel but it fully deserves five stars. Quality comes first here. Beautiful rooms, great and always helpful staff, faults were repaired immediately, great breakfasts with a large selection of always fresh dishes. And this location between beautiful cliffs with a beautiful bay and a charming beach. An ideal place for active recreation.

Hotel was lovely. Pool table which was reasonable, public car park at the back, great price for cocktails, good entertainment but I feel more kids entertainment would be beneficial. Rooms were clean and modern. Mini fridge wasn't great but could keep a couple of drinks cool. One of my favourite things was the free water fountains. The massive choice at breakfast time, my only negative was stale cereal...
The Best Hotel in Malta! We had an exceptional stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean—truly fantastic accommodations. One of the best conveniences was the nearby bus stop, which made getting around the island a breeze. Whether you’re heading to a tourist spot or just...
We had an absolutely amazing holiday less than 2 weeks ago, the only disappointment is that we wish we could have booked it for a bit longer! All of our needs were superbly accommodated, we never had to ask for anything in advance. Really appreciated the check in phone call from the hotel manager after we arrived to our room, of which we had a free upgrade for. Everyone we came across to was very nice...
We had very pleasant experience at this hotel. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Clean and spacious air conditioned rooms, although the bed mattresses are to soft for my liking. Great choice of tasty food. Very easy access to water activities and close to ferry terminal. Hotel has access to safe car park. Did not use the spa except for the sauna and steam room which was good but basic. Overall...
Clean room, lovely breakfast, friendly animation team. The fitness was not that big (only one trade mill and few equipments with weights). There are water fountains in the hotel so you can have free water all day long. Beautiful sunsets from the hotel terrace, ferry to Gozo or Paradise beach are 3 min of driving from the hotel. All in all we had a good time and would recommend to stay in the hotel
Lovely Hotel, amazing staff and ultra comfortable rooms. From the moment we arrived, until the very welcome buffet breakfast they gave us at 2.00am in the morning when we were leaving, We have never been so well attended in any hotel. The Pool was great with plenty of sunbeds available. I would certainly go back to Labranda Riviera Hotel.

10/10 hotel! We stayed here for 3 nights and the hotel is lovely! The location is great if you want a quieter stay! But transport is so easy to get around if you want to explore! The pools are nice, the restaurants serve lovely food and all staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful! We had a standard twin room and wow they were massive! We will Definitely stay again! Thank you so much!
Everything about our stay at Solana has been most impressive and pleasant - two nights were not enough. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the rooms new and aesthetically pleasing, the pool area beyond spectacular and with great service, we enjoyed also the breakfast and the gym. Thank you Solana family.
This hotel is perfect for everyone. Very helpful and friendly staff - shout out to Milena and Sergio from the rooftop (spectacular views from there) 😁 Rooms adjusted to the needs. The daughter enjoyed swimming pools. It is located in a very handy place - easy to get anywhere - the bus stop is just across the street 🙂 Highly recommended ❤️
Our stay at Hotel Solana was too short. I rarely stay in hotels, and usually leave feeling underwhelmed. The Solana exceeded our expectations. Reception staff are amazing; kind, attentive, and very professional. Our room looked out to sea from a sheltered balcony and had incredible views. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. I was quite happy to spend a quiet evening relaxing after...
Overall the experience was satisfactory but not worth the price we paid for the 'superior room'. We were woken up at 7am by construction/maintenance occurring right outside our room for each day we stayed there. There was no prior warning of this. I mentioned this to the staff (he was understanding and sympathetic) and the compensation was a fruit platter and a free 30 minutes in their hydro massage...
Just came back a week ago from an amazing vacation on Malta, with a lot of thanks to Solana Hotel & Spa. As soon we stept in everything was taken care of. The rooms were absolutely beautiful, spacious, very clean and with all the supplies you could have needed. We've had an incredibly comfortable and enjoyable stay here. The staff are so friendly and attentive. We've located the hotel by luck looking to relocate from previous booking and were immediately welcomed and shown around the hotel. The sunset with a couple of 🍸 at rooftop bar is definitely a must here. It's only a 20 min walk to beach but Bolt is also to hand if needed and many must see spots are...
Malta was an exciting 50th country milestone for me. After staying at an exceptionally diverse variety of hotels and luxury properties, including many Four Seasons, the Lure Hotel is remarkable. The staff treats you as if you are a guest in their home, and they are present and attentive without being intrusive. The room details, spa, and other aspects of the hotel are unforgettable, including our room...
Excellent boutique hotel. Located in a lovely area of Mellieha, right by the iconic church and with some lovely restaurants/bars on its doorstep. It also has a lovely rooftop bar and pool, which met our needs. Rooms were also lovely, furnished well and a very good size. Breakfast was also lovely with a lovely mix of continental (the pistachio muffins were amazing) and cooked breakfast (to order) and...
Outstanding hotel, made to feel very welcomed from the first second walking through the door. Hotel manager has been brilliant, and all staff have gone above and beyond! I will 100% be coming back next year. The food is so tasty and has great selection. The room is of the highest standards and overall this should be a 5 star hotel! Thank you for an amazing experience.
superb hotel in the heart of a charming little town, next to a magnificent church. very attentive staff, carefully decorated room, two beautiful swimming pools, a spa, a delicious breakfast. everything was perfect, we spent 4 dream days. The restaurant is also a great discovery. In short, we recommend without hesitation the Lure Hotel & Spa to discover Malta under the best auspices!
When in Malta, Mellieha is your go-to city on the island and the Lure Hotel & Spa is a perfect place for your stay. Stylish place, good accomodation and friendly owner and staff, always ready with a smile. Highly recommended!

All in all i am quite satisfied. Perfect location with nice bay view. The rooms are clean and spacious. Outdoor pools are great with many sunbeds. Unfortunately food was very poor quality:(
Very nice Hotel with a private beach. Rooms are very clean, very big and have a lovely view. Breakfast is okay, dinner buffet is great, especially the desserts are great! Very friendly staff. I can absolutely recommend it, thank you Paradise Bay Resort for a great holiday. :)
So, I booked a stay at Paradise Bay Resort, excited for that *four-star* experience. Upon walking into my room, I was greeted with a stunning street view and a hairdryer that seemed straight out of the 70s. Talk about retro vibes! Everything was going smoothly until 6:12 AM... when the power decided to take a vacation. No electricity until late afternoon! While I managed to squeeze in a morning workout...
Beautiful hotel right next to the ferry to Goza and small beaches. The view from the hotel is stunning. Rooms are cleaned daily. Hotel is also very clean. All went great, staff was friendly, room is cleaned daily and the towels are changed daily. Breakfast is quite OK and the hotel is very well connected by bus to wherever you wish to go, Gozo ferry is closeby. Overall it was a nice hotel/resort. The grounds are well kept. There is plenty of places to sunbath and the drinks are pretty good. The pool itself is small for the size of the hotel and was always a little crowded. Several staff members stood out as excellent (Igor specifically) and the location is great. Close to the beach and other nice places to visit. My main complaint and why I'm not rating...
Great pools all very clean plenty of sun beds. Opposite beach. Service very good. Food in a lacart restaurant’s much better than buffet managed to book into all 4 over our 1 week stay. Housing keeping maid Wilma very good kept room clean every day despite kids bringing tons of sand back. Great for families
We are staying at the Seabank and been here a week. All inclusive basis. There’s a really good choice of foods in the restaurants for both adults and kids. The “on tap” drinks are ok. Passable is how I’d describe them. If you’re a wine / Spirit or beer connoisseur you’re probably looking at 5 or 6 out of 10. We are in a group of 26 people of varying ages. One comment a lot of the parents are making...
The hotel team was accommodating. Especially the room service was very friendly and clean! Thanks to Sunny for the great service! Sunny was also very friendly to our boys, which is not a matter of course. The service at the pool bar is fast and friendly. Also the bartender at the Sports Bar is very accommodating and we had nice evenings there.
Fabulous hotel ! My friend and I stayed last year. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed and showed a room where we could leave our luggage and go for something to eat in one of the many restaurants. There was always a large selection of food and plenty of drinks. During your stay you can book a meal in one of the themed restaurants. We chose Mexican and there was a large selection of food which...
DB Seabank Resort. Just coming to the end of our two week holiday and can honestly say we’ve had a fantastic time. Location perfect for what we needed as attended a wedding at the hotel. Short drive from airport, opposite the sea with small bay and sun beds. Plenty of tables in the main restaurant.
Everyone was professional and nice. The facility was clean and well taken care of. I emensly enjoyed my stay at this location.

Our initial thoughts on the hotel were mixed. The double room we were given had an adjoining door to the next room which had no sound proofing and we had a few disturbed nights of sleep, before we had to complain (people checking in, TVs, banging!! Thank you for a wonderful stay. It's the best hotel we have stayed in. Location was perfect, rooms were lovely (bed a little hard), great bath and shower with fabulous water pressure. This hotel is more for families not really for solo travellers. The room was nice and the sea view was nice. I tried the breakfast twice and it was good. I didn't have water for more than an hour in my second day there which was very surprising as it's a 4 start hotel and they didn't have a back up generator. My last day there one of the elevators wasn't working. I tried to cancel one of the 9 nights...
Stayed here between flights to cruise ship. Rooms are spacious, foyer cool with plenty seating areas. Lift from street up to ground floor for folks in wheelchairs. We stayed here for a week earlier this year and got a very good deal. For a family of four, half board and return flights/transfers cost £620. Overall the hotel looks and feels dated having been built in the late 60s. It is in need of an upgrade but instead is being demolished at the end of the year to make way for a new complex. It is in a lovely location overlooking the bay. The food was of a decent...
The hotel is contemporary in the lobby. The rooms are basic but have all the amenities you would need. If anything is missing, a quick call to reception will sort that. All the rooms have safes; some need a key deposit, others are digital. The views of the bay are amazing both during the day and at night. We went all inclusive to the resort and I have no issues with the food. A great selection of...
Lovely location, gardens, and beach, and lots of activities to try. Pools a bit on the small side. Staff could be a bit better at explaining things - like we were left waiting in the lobby with a "housekeeping will call when the room is ready" - not quite sure what to do with ourselves! Range of pool snack bar food quite limited esp after 3pm when the kitchen closes. All in all a nice place but falls...
Only used the swimming pool area and private beach as was diving on the day. Pools are clean, water pleasant. Nice paddle pool for kids with fountain, which my 3YO loved. I really enjoyed the beach. Much quieter than the public beach in the bay. Free sun loungers and umbrellas. Even a little slide for kids. The sand is soft, perfect for children.
Really really friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has large, beautiful gardens and our room had a very nice sea view. The all-inclusive option is really good value for money because it entitles you to free drinks and snacks from the bar (in addition to the 3 buffet meals a day). I would readily recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a relaxing weekend break for a very reasonable price. I've attached...

Tomorrow will be our last day at the resort and I have to say, overall it was an amazing experience here. On top of that, the public transportation in Malta is amazing, so you can reach any destination...
There some small things that should be adjusted and improved, like curtains, towels, gym, carpets in rooms would greatly improve being. Overall experience is good. Breakfast could be better, but the dinner is perfect - great variety and delicious. Pizza in Piato restaurant is super. Views from top floor suites are amazing.
Spacious rooms, amazing view and very good restaurants. Nice pool filled with filtered sea water which is really eco-friendly, you get access to a private sand and rock beach. The breakfast was also so generous and tasty. 👍👍👍

We stayed here for 5 days - the staff were lovely and helpful. However, the room had a strange smell to it on arrival, the best way I can describe it is like acetone/nail polish remover. We also had a room overlooking the stairs so there were quite a lot of people walking past the room. We didn't have anywhere to wash/dry our clothes as we didn't have a balcony so just to keep this in mind. There are...
beautiful hotel in the middle of the town. location a little further from the sea. food and pools nice. what I would criticize is one smaller sauna. nabic is open 9-19 :( and besides today I was at 9:30 and 18:30 and the temperature was 50 degrees :( I would wait for a smaller sauna rather longer for such a number of people
Currently staying at the Pergola Hotel with my daughters aged 2 and 7 - my mother and sister. Gorgeous hotel. Lovely sea view. Love how the staff work hard to keep the grounds and the pools spotless. Food is fab. Cocktails are lush. Special thank you to Rouselle, Francine and Henrik for answering my endless questions about the surrounding area.
My partner and I only tried the spa section. Pro: The staff (reception lady) was incredibly nice, showed us around, talked to us, and was very nice to us. The sauna was good as was the massage. It is a relaxing environment, and the view from the outdoor pool is wonderful. Contra: We couldn't even use the indoor pool, it was too cold, just like the jacuzzi, which should be warm, but wasn't.
I booked a deluxe 1 bedroom apartment and when I got to the hotel they offered me a paid upgrade that I took. I thought since it was more expensive it should be better (it was their "best room" as I was informed. Just to discover that the so called deluxe apartment had a broken AC and ants. I complained multiple times about the AC and was gaslight - they said it takes time to cool the room, that the...
The hotel is nice, with friendly staff. When heading to the beach, it is recommended to use the elevator (inside the hotel) instead of the stairs next to the hotel, this will save you some steps ;-) On the main road, you will find bus stops that can take you to other parts of the country. There are also several places nearby where you can get food.
