Hotels in Pieta

It is supposed to be a five star hotel, unfortunately it is showing signs of fatigue. The tiles in the bath room are chipped and has become hard to clean as a result. The carpet feels old as well. However, service remains good and the breakfast offers a good choice. There is a small private beach which allows bathing in the sea with fish swimming around you, which was very pleasant.

We visited this hotel last year and loved it. However we’ve recently been back and had to wait till well after 3pm for our room (check in 3pm)which meant we wasted a lot of our first day. Also bar service was poor. It seemed there was no one in charge even though there were plenty of staff and those making drinks had little training, particularly if we ordered cocktails. Even a beer took 15minutes...

After booking to come, I saw numerous negative reviews of this hotel which made me quite skeptical. However, our stay on the whole was pleasant. This hotel is in a good location, not far at all from central Valletta. This is definitely the hotel’s biggest selling point. One point to note is that there is a lot of uphill walking/ steps to get anywhere from the hotel so bear this in mind if this could be an issue for you, particularly in the heat/humidity. The place is great. It has everything: good location, really kind people working there and providing you with lots of helpful information, and clean rooms and bathrooms. It also has a fan, toilet paper and shower gel and shampoo, towels. Recommend!

A little bit disappointed about the location, because even if close to valleta, in the evening we didn't found a restaurant nearby, jist some Asian food. But the room and personnel were really nice. They have a small dinner on the roof top and a small jacuzzi.

We spent 3 nights in Chapter 5. The location is 10 mins distance with bus from the center of Valetta and 30 mins walking distance to center of Silema. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and air condition was working perfectly in such hot weather. Access to the roof top which includes a free jacuzzi. We stayed for 3 nights. Rooms were clean and very well maintained. Gabriella at the reception was really nice and helpful. Super nice hotel and very clean it feels like home. Chiara and Nick are very friendly hosts. Super close to the tal pieta bus station which will take you everywhere. close to Valletta doable on foot (despite the climbs lol). I highly recommend. Fantastic hotel. Ryan has created a truly beautiful and homey location. The room was big, but it felt very comfortable almost like being at home. The bathroom was nice and had plenty of space for two people to easily be in there. The location is great and about a 10 minute walk from the old Town and about 3 minutes from a bus stop. Will definitely stay here the next time I'm in Malta.

Great 5 night stay. We used the spa and indoor pool daily and the grounds and outdoor heated pool are simply fabulous. You need to book the spa but it is included for guests not charged extra like some hotels. The breakfast was very, very good. The staff at this hotel are truly outstanding and really represent the very best in guest focussed hospitality.

The Phoencia is a wonderful hotel. All of the staff are courteous, efficient and friendly, and they all seem happy in their work. The rooms are spotless and the restaurant is excellent. A special mention to the restaurant breakfast staff who work very hard and were very busy on Sunday, but made the time to clear a prepare a table in the conservatory.

Great location with a bus stop right outside that is direct to the airport, and Ferry terminal is a very short walk from where you can take the ferry across to Valletta. Had a great stay! My room got upgraded from a standard room to sea front, the standard room is better for individuals who don't plan on using the room other than to sleep and shower. The sea front room was lush! Lovely balcony, nice view + full sun during the day. Sad that it was so noisy in the evenings due to the restaurants downstairs playing music + smell of cigarettes during the evening.

AMAZING! I love this place so much, quiet, comfy, AC was working quietly, bed was super comfy, they have friendly street cats!!! Every place that have cats is the best for me. Had a wonderful stay here: staff is terrific, location is the best and the hotel is very clean (cleaning lady is small but great at the same time!). The single room I had was a bit low on the windows (only a small window to the air duct) but that is the only minus I could think of. I definitely go again here!

Ive Used this hotel 3 times, always stayed in a sea view room. The rooms were fairly dated and not modern. Pet peeve of mine is that the double beds are just two singles joined together, so you will end up falling through the middle where the two beds join depending how you sleep. We stayed there for 4 nights. We booked the superior, the room was very nice! The only thing that was a bit annoying was that the bathroom didn’t have any window so there was a bit mold in there. We had an exceptional stay at La Falconeria. We were very lucky to be upgraded to room 502 which has a terrace and stunning views over Valletta. The view from the room is amazing. You can use the outdoor pool across the street! It's spacious and special. The indoor pool is cold, and there is only one jacuzzi, so you need to be careful. I was worried about the smell of the water in the room. It's not a new hotel, so that was a bit of a concern, but the service and location are good, so I recommend it overall.

The hotel is in a good location. It is close to the bus station. It is very convenient to take the bus to the scenic spot. The view from the room is also very good. It feels great to look out. There is a sea view and a yacht. It is very comfortable to walk on the beach. There is a small balcony. The hotel provides paid airport shuttle service

The hotel facilities are average. The location of Datang and the elevator feel a bit old, but the location of the hotel is very good. There are many restaurants nearby. The staff is very friendly and enthusiastic. It is worth recommending.

Overall is a nice place to stay, the only downside is the outdoor swimming pool is not on site. No evening entertainment, you will need to know where to go in the evening. Otherwise it’s a good hotel.
