Pebbles Resort in St. Pauls Bay

We really liked the hotel! The staff were always attentive and friendly. We just found the guests a bit noisy in the hallways. During the night, we woke up several times to noise—but nothing related to the hotel. Honestly, the only downside is the lack of parking. This hotel was excellent. We visited in April for 10 days, was a really chilled out area. Rooms were spacious, had a safety deposit box as well as a mini fridge. There's 2 pools, 1 indoor 1 outdoor, the indoor one is heated and has a jacuzzi. We were only on room only, however the surrounding areas were cheap for meals. Would recommend this resort to anyone visiting malta

Absolutely amazing staff. Special shout out to Leana,Lavish and Marina. They were very friendly and proffesional and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help us out. The Resort is fabulous and ideally located within a short walk (downhill) to the Harbour. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing, with a lot of variety and extremely tasty.
I'm very glad I booked this resort and will definitely be coming back.

We stayed in Malta for 6 days and booked here for 4 days considering the cost-effectiveness, and we were 100% satisfied with the cost-effectiveness!
I sent an email in advance because they said check-in was until 12 o'clock, and checked in late at night, but the reception staff was so kind and extended the welcome drink coupon period. They were so kind 👍🏻☺️
Breakfast was delicious, and there was even a jacuzzi in the indoor heated pool.
And the transportation was really good. It takes 40-50 minutes to get to downtown Valletta, but it's close to the bus stop, and there are restaurants and a 24-hour mart nearby. It's really the best!!!! And if you're going to Gozo or Comino (Blue Lagoon), this location is a 5-6 minute walk to the port, so I highly recommend it!

It's a very good place to stay. I was a little disappointed with the breakfast selection, but apart from that, everything was great. I love that it has an indoor and outdoor pool as well as a gym and jacuzzi. The jacuzzi does tend to get very busy, especially in the evenings, so maybe having one or 2 extra would be better for the guests. I especially loved the restaurant/bar it had amazing food and drinks, and the atmosphere in there was great.
The staff were very nice and attentive.

Good facilities, indoor and outdoor pool, very helpful staff.

Reception:
All the staff at the reception we met were really helpful and were all cordial. After we checked out, I noticed that I forgot my phone charger, I called at the reception and the receptionist checked with the housekeeping and kept the charger at the reception for me to collect later on.

Main Restaurant:
There wasn't a large variety of food compared to other hotels in Malta but everything was really good. The chefs were checking every couple of minutes to see what had finished and replaced the food accordingly. Waiters were all exceptional except one person which forgot to take our drink orders and we kept waiting until the 3rd time we asked for the drinks, another waiter requested our order again and gave us the drinks complementary, which we really appreciated.

Room:
Room was small but still felt like home and had all the amities we wanted. Flat TV screen with channels such as Italia 1, Canale 5, HGTV, Boomerang, Cartoon Network and much more. Mirror in the room and also in the bathroom. A couple of clothes hangers. Bed was comfortable and spacious. On each side of the bed there were 2 usb ports and a plug to charge any appliances. Coffee, tea, milk and kettle in the room. The only thing that I preferred to have is 2 sets of soaps rather than 1 only (due that we were 2 people) or maybe instead of soaps one would use refilled bottles such as the shampoo bottle that there was attached in the shower. Suggest that the shampoo is clearly labeled due that the word shampoo was a bit small to read.

Housekeeping:
Were all gentle and helpful. Regarding the fact that we stayed for 2 nights only, we informed the cleaners that there is no need for cleaning of the room but requested towel change and some milk pods which they immediately provided us with.

This is a resort hotel with very good facilities. I booked a package with breakfast and dinner, which was great at first, but the portion was too large. It tasted very good, and the hygiene conditions were very good. It was cleaned on time every day and carefully.
The surrounding area is suitable for strolling, and it takes only 5 minutes to walk to the beach, and the scenery is very beautiful. The service is thoughtful and enthusiastic!

I recently stayed at pebbles resort for three nights, and overall, it was a good experience.
Here’s my detailed feedback:

Positives:
1. Breakfast: The breakfast was really nice with a good variety of options to start the day right.
2. Jacuzzi and Indoor Pool: Both were clean and well-maintained, making for a relaxing experience.
3. Room Quality: The room was warm, clean, and comfortable—ideal for a relaxing stay.
4. Staff: The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with any queries.
5. Value for Money: I booked through Trip.com and got an excellent deal for three nights, including access to amenities and breakfast, which added great value to the stay.

Negatives:
1. Indoor Pool Roof: Unfortunately, there was mold on the roof area above the indoor pool. This looked unhygienic and could potentially be a health concern for guests with allergies or asthma.
2. Noise Disturbance: The noise from guests in the surrounding rooms was a major issue. People were talking loudly in the corridors at midnight on multiple occasions, disrupting my sleep.
3. Missing Room Amenities: The room lacked certain basic amenities such as bathrobes, shampoo, an iron, still water, and a properly functioning TV. The TV was outdated, had no internet connection, and only a few channels in foreign languages.

Overall Impression:

While the stay was enjoyable thanks to the friendly staff, good breakfast, and clean amenities, there are areas for improvement. The management should address the mold issue in the pool area, enforce better noise control, and provide essential amenities in the rooms to enhance guest satisfaction.

I would recommend this resort for the price and comfort but with a few reservations about the points mentioned.
