The hotel is situated on the seafront promenade in Sliema, has a developed infrastructure and spacious rooms and suites with views of the city or the sea. I really like this gym. The facilities and amenities are great, and everything is well-maintained. However, the receptionist who works the 6 PM shift on 16/10/2024 is consistently rude. She never says hi or bye, which is basic courtesy for a receptionist. Whenever I ask her something, she responds as if she doesn't care or doesn’t want to answer. I suggest either changing her or asking her to improve her manners and learn how to properly welcome people.The other Russian guy he is welcoming and explain everything clearly.

Lovely hotel.
Food good.
Pool good even if it is across the road!

Could do with new pillows for bed.
Could do with safety stickers on the glass balcony windows.

Could do with allowing guests that are checking out to have a meal. There is lots of food left over so it would not have hurt!
We arrived on the Thursday and missed our breakfast so it would have been nice when we left Thursday evening the next week to have had a dinner.

I have been in this gym for a 6 months.My review is:
Gym side small but enough
Sauna: perfect
Jakuzzi : need to be clean (blue stones in the jakuzzi not water)
Steam room: very bad sometimes working sometimes not working. Need to be change door like a sauna. And steam room need to be always ready people do not want to wait for steam.
Changing room for men: The shower is nice but there are cobwebs on the cabinets. So needs to be clean deeper

Stayed several times there. There were times that were revocation where it was not comfortable at all. The service is professional and friendly except for the long checkin. Many occasions they were kind to accommodate late checkout.
Food is good, location is one of the best with this sea front view.

If you are looking for smoking sea front room, this would be one of the very few that you will find that at that cost ( perhaps the only)

Great hotel, used it for B&B The Food Hall lovely, lots of variety. Our room was super, no sea view but well appointed and The Air con is very cold.
Bar on the ground floor good and the Sky Bar has a great view and vibe. The staff are very attentive and polite

I like training here. The vibe is nice and the staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities for weight training are top-notch, with many barbells, dumbbells (up to 50kg), 3 squat racks, cable and pull-down machines as well as a nice range of machine weights. The spa area is also nice, although the jacuzzi could be hotter.

Where I would say the gym lacks is the cardio machines. 2 of the 4 treadmills are not comfortable to use and skip/slip when running while the elliptical machines are dated and clunky.

Additionally it can take the ownership a while to fix issues. The men’s bathroom upstairs has been out of order for many weeks, and a few months ago it took a while to fix the sauna.

Overall if you are mainly interested in weights and resistance training it is a great gym with many options, but if you are looking for some indoor cardio options during the hot summer months I’d look elsewhere.

I used gym and spa facilities for one month. It was really amazing, especially curved treadmill 😎 I would like to recommend to everyone this area for trainings and regeneration. There are swimming pool, sauna, steaming room and jacuzzi. Also the stuff is cool and they are always prepared to help with anything or make a great protein shake.

I stayed here with two other people for two weeks and it was fantastic. If you want a swim you can go down to the beach club where they have a restaurant and pool. Or you can swim in the sea that is right next to the club. You can book excursions at a little shop at the front and you can go to lots of places and it is very enjoyable.

Free with Preluna hotel. The rating is justified since is one of the best hotel-gym you can think of.
Opinion from an average office gym sis with 6 years of disgreaiful results (181cm x 92kg @11%).
You can’t be peaky about cleaning standards. Gains have more importance than tetano.
You won’t believe you are in Malta, it is the only -1 building with no sun nor windows you will find.
Bodybuilding: 2 lat machines, 1 pulley, 1 smith rack, 2 double cross cable machines. Many isotonic machines. Dumbbells up to 50kg (possibly missing weights in between).
Powerlifting:
Technogym disks. Burbells have for sure tetano but they work.
* squat: 2 squat racks
* bench: you can put in the rack to have safety bar. The regular bench does not have them
* Deadlift: there is no deadlift district you have to organize yourself. No bumpers

Nice hotel situated in a good place easy access to local bus routes. Right on the sea front. The service was good in the hotel with friendly staff. The room was good but the view was terrible looking onto a building site with very large holes and half pulled down buildings. Could not sit on the balcony as you were overlooked by workmen and had no view at all. Not pleasing to the eye. Could not change room as hotel. Tried to up grade to room with a sea view but to no avail.
There was No entertainment only a large TV in the bar. One night out of Ten there was a man playing the piano while the TV was on.
