The bathtub looked worn and the shower head/fittings could use an upgrade, as the water pressure and temperature controls were a bit clunky. It feels like a bathroom from twenty years ago, which contrasts sharply with the excellent main room space.
First, the toilet bowl was clogged, which was very unpleasant. Second, the room was not clean at all especially the carpet, which was extremely dusty. During our stay, my entire family became sick, and I strongly believe the poor cleanliness contributed to this.
Although housekeeping service was available, the bedsheets were not changed and the carpet was never vacuumed. The dust level remained very high throughout our stay.
In addition, there was a serious safety concern in the bathroom. The floor became very slippery after showering, and I almost slipped several times. This is especially dangerous for children and elderly guests. I was particularly worried as my child is only two years old.
Because of these issues cleanliness, hygiene, and safety i would not return to this hotel. Overall, it was a very bad experience.
In the spirit of continuous improvement & recognising how AI and digital expectations are elevating global hospitality standards. Hence, I would like to share a few observations that may contribute to strengthening your guest experience moving forward.
1) Room Experience (Room 2020)
• The water hose pipe in the bathroom is currently malfunctioning. This is an essential convenience for many Malaysian guests, and addressing it will significantly improve overall comfort.
• The iron provided in the room may require maintenance. When I pressed the steam function, white dust-like particles were released, which may affect guests’ clothing. A routine check on such amenities will reinforce service reliability.
2) Breakfast Experience
As travellers become increasingly health-conscious, wellness-aligned breakfast options are now a key expectation. It would be impactful to include:
• Brown sugar
• Wholemeal bread / Healthy bread
• Toothpicks for post-meal hygiene
These small enhancements help position the hotel as attentive to guests’ long-term well-being and lifestyle preferences.
3) Housekeeping & Cleanliness Standards
I also noticed that the used cutlery outside my room door had been left for quite some time without being collected. This creates an uncomfortable impression, especially for both domestic and international tourists. Ensuring timely collection will uphold the hotel’s cleanliness standards and strengthen your brand image.

The room was clean, the bed comfy, and location is super strategic, very near to malls and food spots, so senang nak jalan ke mana-mana.
Breakfast was tasty too, with a good variety. Overall, a pleasant stay and worth the price. Would definitely consider coming again!
