Tune Hotel - Danga Bay Johor

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The safety box was not working and I had already complained to the receptionis and even showed a video to prove that the safety box wasnt working. I was told that their technician would come and check it but in the end it wasnt fixed so I had to take all my important belongings with me whenever I left the room. It was not a pleasant experience staying at this hotel. The table beside the bed was covered in dust. Basic amenities such as body wash, toothbrush and toothpaste were not provided.

paid about 38 sgd for this overpriced room with bad location. noisy as near highway. asked for 2 extra pillows for 2 pax but they only said they could give max 1 pillow. room is also extremely small and uncomfortable. bedsheet came with stains and next day they tried to issue us a fine. aircon not working properly so had to use fan. fan also stopped working after awhile. no dustbin for smokers outside the hotel. keycard not working. check in was quite fast. hot water shower runs well.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel. On our first day in Malaysia, we returned to our room after a day out to find that our cash had been stolen from the room during housekeeping. The safety box in the room did not work at all, which only added to our feeling of vulnerability and distrust. The manager attempted to help us by checking the CCTV footage, but unfortunately, these efforts were unsuccessful in resolving the issue. It is deeply concerning that the hotel was unable to provide a safe and secure environment for their guests. I would suggest finding alternative accommodations to avoid a similar experience.

One of the worst hotel EVER. Definitely a hotel that’s hard sell. From the pictures looks ok but when I got there , the hotel was so rundown. If planing to go w family members, i suggest DONT. Very ulu. I feel like the location is not convenient. No food place nearby so only option was to order from grab. No kettle in the room but receptionist suggested to just come down and take hot water LOL. NO BASIC TOILETRIES. NO TOOTHBRUSH. Instead the receptionist suggested to go get them at 7/11. Srsly one of the worst place to stay. But what do u expect for a price point that’s pretty cheap. In my opinion I feel like there’s better budget hotel options. Overall the stay was EXTREMELY HORRIBLE. Also to add on receptionist was not professional in any way. Air con IS NOT WORKING but luckily there’s ceiling fan. Go at your own risk.
