I rated this hotel average because there isn't a good choice....we stayed here for 10 nights in an upstairs apartment... if you don't like the idea of an open bathroom, then ask for a downstairs apartment.... wish I had known in advance...the staff is lovely, the breakfast is fine....eggs,etc....they give you 4 bottles of water daily...the pool is clean, but could use some more chairs with umbrellas.... the apartment is clean, although really needs a good deep cleaning... the toilet area had a bad odor, which they tried to mask with gel in toilet....the apartment is quite large,with kitchen (sink,fridge and water kettle), living area, dressing room and bedroom.... the towels need to be updated.... pool towels were nicer than towels for shower....bed was comfortable and changed often.... the property is very quiet, but very close to many shops,restaurants, laundry, etc.....

This is a lovely place to stay. I stayed with my adult daughter in an upstairs villa overlooking the pool. It was very spacious. The breakfast was good with lots of choice. I had a voucher for a discount on a spa and I booked an appointment . However I thought it was nearby and couldnt find the place and discovered I would need to get a taxu so did not bother in the end but the voucher was thoughtful. There are 2 restraunts at rge front of the property that are very good. Just a note if you go with them for a sunset cruise , yiu need your passport no . We were not told about this which caused a problem when we got to rge cruise. The staff at the Villas are wonderful and as it is a small place I feel you get more personal attention. As we like cats were visited by the hotel cats which was nice as they are very friendly. Shady round the pool as lovely gardens. They could probably manange a cpuple more sunloungers as there are only 5. Otherwise a perfect stay. Thanks to all the staff

8 night stay was exactly what we wanted. Peaceful location, spacious lodge, comfortable large bed. Set in amongst trees made us feel part of the natural surroundings and the local monkeys passing through were a bonus. Very well located for beach and restaurants. Friendly staff, efficient air con and wifi. Fresh drinking water and towels daily. Decor maybe needs a refresh here and there but a minor criticism. Absolutely recommend Villa Molek

A great little find in a cool part of Langkawi. Great restaurants nearby or onsite. The breakfast is good and we played golf so they left breakfast for us as we left early. Friendly and helpful staff. The owner is a delight. The accomodation is comfortable and clean. Bedrooms are great. Also snacks left for guests. Very sweet gesture.

I don’t understand why the two outermost rooms were arranged for us even though many rooms were unoccupied. We made a clear request for a room inside because we wanted to be quieter, but they deceived us and said that they were all fully booked. In fact, during the two days we stayed, we observed that half of the rooms inside were empty. I don’t know if it’s because of that. Chinese tourists are like this because they saw other European and American guests staying in the inner rooms.

Although it was opened in 2009, the facilities and equipment are very new, the rooms are very big, there is a small yard, and the swimming pool is at the door. The accommodation environment is very quiet and the ecological environment is great. It is my dream villa! The breakfast at the hotel is very Western-style, the coffee is freshly ground and hand-brewed, and the thick egg yoguraki is absolutely delicious, with no flaws at all!
The boss’ grandfather is Irish and has lived in Langkawi for 24 years! The hotel does not accept children very much because they are afraid that children will affect the rest of other guests. However, the grandpa saw that our children were very well-behaved, so he made an exception and accommodated us. Of course, we were kept quiet the whole time.

Pleasant stay at Villa Molek during our five day stay in Langkawi. Enjoyed their warm and amazing service! Everyone working there were nice, kind and friendly. Villa was literally 100 seconds away from the beach and close to The Hidden Bar.
Room was way above expectation and daily room service ensured the rooms were always clean. Breakfast was sent directly to our room which was decent. If I’m returning to Langkawi I’ll most likely drop by villa molek again! 👊🏽
