The hotel is situated in the Northern part of Chaweng beach, has its own beach with white coral sand. Pronounced high and low tides from April to October. Recommend for a family holiday.

Location: 5 km from the local airport of Koh Samui, in the North-East of Samui, Chaweng beach (Chaweng beach), 3 km North from the centre of Chaweng beach.
Refers to the network of hotels Amari.
Consists of a complex of two and three storey buildings located at the beach and the second line across the road from the sea.
Only 188 rooms.
Total area: 26240 m2.
Beach: public, sandy beach 30 m away, the first coastal line. Between some buildings and the beach road runs. Umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses, towels – free of charge.

have to thank you for Preecha to make our time special try their best to arrange us a table with very good service from F&B team. I not sure what position he is but he does his job with spectacular service mind and make good experience for customer.
All food not fancy but it’s nice.
Price is very reasonable.
When we first checked in, we were given a room with a water leak from the air conditioning unit. Naturally, we reported this to the staff, expecting a quick resolution. While they did offer to change our room, their response felt more like a mere formality than a sincere effort to make things right. We hoped that the new room would be better, but our troubles were only beginning.
The next night, we discovered that the ceiling in the new room was leaking as well. Water was dripping onto the floor and soaking one of the blankets. More troubling was the fact that the leak was close to the light fixtures, creating a serious risk of electrocution. When we informed the staff, their reaction was disappointing, offering us two options: move to another room for 2 people (we were 3) for the night and/or wait until the next day for repairs. This meant spending the night in a room that was not only uncomfortable but potentially dangerous.
Adding to the frustration, the attitude of the staff throughout all of this was far from welcoming. They were unhelpful, indifferent, and even condescending at times.
Beyond these immediate problems, the overall state of the hotel was a letdown. The rooms were not as clean as one would hope, particularly the bathrooms, which left much to be desired (and did not match the photos promoted on the hotel/booking hotels platforms). The so-called renovated amenities felt outdated, lacking of modern comfort.
The breakfast was passable but leaned heavily toward Western tastes, with only a few local dishes available.
In conclusion, our stay at Amari has been full of frustrations and disappointments. From the faulty rooms and safety concerns to the poor service and uninspiring amenities, this experience has been far below our expectations.
Sadly, we would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Koh Samui.
This place is a mixed bag.
If I only stayed in the front part of the hotel then I'd probably give it a 4 star. Food out front was amazing. Pool great. View lovely. We stayed in the other part of the villa across a super busy road. It's very tired and run down so you can't call it 5 stars. A solid 3 over the road.
The pros are. Good pool. Good aircon. Child care 2 hrs free a day. OK beds. good drinks. With a happy hour. breakfast is it's saving grace and amazing.
The Cons are.
Very tired hotel. Busy Road. Unclean rooms. This may sound harsh, but when you say you're 5, that's the bench mark you're rated against and sadly it's not 5. A pleasant stay, just not 5 🌟

The breakfast is very nice and lots of quality food and beverage.
The hotel invoices me 1500 TBH per night just to get an extra bed in the room for my daughter. The bed was very uncomfortable like you are sleeping on the floor. It’s a shame to ask money for that.
Anyway I don’t recommend this hotel in Chaweng as you have plenty of choices elsewhere.
2 clean pools. Check in and check out was seamless. Very close to the eateries in the town with lots of options to choose from. Loved the location.
One thing which left a sour taste at the end of our trip was behaviour of a couple of staff members during breakfast in last 2 days of our stay. The woman named Jimmy was particularly rude to us. I have an inkling that it was bcoz of our race. When we confronted her later, then she all of sudden she forgot English and started speaking in Thai. We even reported it to their floor manager who said she would get back to us with the resolve but she did not.
Last day the same staff was present during breakfast and we had the feeling of being ignored. It was a disappointing end to the stay.
Otherwise it was pleasant.
