This hotel was amazing, offering a very calm and pleasant environment. It is close to the beach, with a pool near the sea and sun loungers for relaxing and sunbathing. The hotel facilities are complete, though the beachfront suites are a better option. I visited here with my wife and my 5-year-old daughter, and it turned out to be an excellent choice for children as well. I highly recommend it to everyone!

What a wonderful place!
Directly situated on the beach, bar and restaurant are so nice !
The rooms are adorable, clearly work has been done to update and refresh!
The breakfast is amazing, staff just lovely, wifi great!

A hotel with poor service policies, such as giving guests cloth slippers that were previously used by others (the kind that are disposable in other hotels). Right in front of the hotel, they’ve dug up a canal from a river that smells bad, and all the dirty water flows into the ocean in front of the hotel, making the water smell like a swamp. The reception staff doesn’t speak English well enough.
I recommend staying on another part of the same beach, where there are beautiful rocks and no dirty river flowing into the ocean.

This hotel is one of my favorites in Lamai. The swimming pool, the bar and the beach are awesome. The staff cannot be more lovely, helpful and efficient. Unfortunately, you can tell they stopped investments a few years ago I guess which means half of the switches, handles and anything that can break are broken or just don't work.
I suggest to keep supporting this hotel and its heartwarming staff. Special mention to the massage ladies, giving you a real authentic massage like they did for the last 40 years, with an amazing sea view.
Also, if you want everything in your room to be absolutely perfect, simply don't go to Thailand at all 😄

We really enjoyed our stay at Sand Sea, particularly in a beachfront bungalow. Lamai beach is beautiful, clean, and relaxed. The resort is walkable to many restaurants, massage places, shops, and more, but is set away from the main road allowing it to be peaceful and quiet. The resort restaurant was good and we enjoyed the daily breakfast and a couple other meals. On our last night they served dinner directly on the beach, concluded with a fire show. It was really well-done. Only slight negative was that I didn't want to use the pool because there were many children diving into it and playing volleyball in the pool, but I'm glad they had fun! I was able to enjoy the gorgeous beach on resort-provided sun loungers and cool off in the ocean.

Had an amazing stay here!!
We got the standard room garden view and it was massive with a toilet and shower room separated, also with a large bath with jets. It’s right on the beach with a nice pool and close to shops and bike rentals.
At breakfast one day I asked if they had any soya milk, they apologised and said no. The next day I went to breakfast and they came and brought me a mini carton of soya milk! It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture and showed that they really care about their guests.
Can’t recommend this place enough, it was so luxurious and the staff were incredibly kind. Thank you!❤️

Really loved our stay here. Rooms in the building are so spacious with beautiful bath. Right by the beach and super short walk to the bars, restaurants and beauty services of Lamai main streets. Staff very friendly. The buffet breakfast is fairly standard but enough choice for a stay of a few days or longer. The main attraction there is the beautiful white restaurant patio overlooking the beach - heaven every morning!

The price and the quality are perfect. Lovely staff and beautiful resort. We stayed in the cheapest room in the building, the room was clean and nice decorated. Seems they just recently renovated the rooms.
Location is so so the sea in front of the resort is not clear, muddy. But walking distance to the center of Lamai and better to use beach walk instead of small scary road behind the hotel. In my opinion, it is better to stay on the right side of Lamai, there is a beach better and clear water.

We booked garden view room but the Ac was noisy so we got moved (for free) to a garden villa deluxe.
Room was very nice. Ac works fine, tea kettle and Nespresso machine (you pay 25bhat a pod), bathroom ok.
Beach front so beautiful with big trees to lay under and enjoy a wonderful breeze all day.
We wanted to stay longer but the beds a super hard for my back. The staff went above and beyond to help with that but they don't have soft mattress so we moved after our 3 nights here.
Location is 8-10 minutes from restaurant, night market, lotus supermarket. 2 minutes away from nearest 7-Eleven.
You get 2 complementary water bottles daily.
Breakfast was just right with a little bit of everything

We loved our stay here! Staff is exceptional, the nicest, kindest people. They made us feel very welcome during our stay. Great restaurant, beautiful beach, bike rental on site.
