Lanta Lapaya Resort in Lanta Island

Our stay at Lanta Lapaia was exceptional, marked by attentive service and high standards throughout. One clear example of their responsiveness came when we reported to reception that Netflix was not connecting to the Wi‑Fi. Within just two hours, the hotel had arranged for a brand‑new television to be installed and mounted in our room, resolving the issue immediately. This level of care truly sets the property apart.

Breakfast was another highlight. Each morning we could select from a wide range of international options—Italian, French, Australian, Thai, and English breakfasts—accompanied by unlimited coffee. The meals were consistently well prepared and offered great variety.

The hotel’s location is excellent. A short walk brings you to numerous restaurants and the beach in just three to five minutes. Being situated on a hill provides both a partial sea view from the swimming pool and additional peace of mind for guests concerned about tsunamis. The atmosphere is tranquil, with very few children present during our two‑week stay, making it ideal for couples seeking a romantic and quiet environment.

Rooms are impressively spacious and immaculately clean—among the largest and most comfortable we experienced in Thailand. Combined with the serene pool area and attentive staff, the overall experience was outstanding.

Recommendation: Lanta Lapaia offers excellent service, diverse dining, a prime location, and spacious accommodations. It is highly recommended for travelers seeking comfort, peace, and reliability during their stay.

This is very good place to stay! I think next time we also come back if we wont to experiment with other place, but the people in this hotel is 10/10 also rooms, help and etc. High level! Breakfast omm sooo good its not buffet but you can easily get full and its very good.

We stayed here for 5-weeks and very quickly this became a home from home. We had a lovely big lodge with a spacious bedroom, large double bed, small lounge, good shower room, and outside balcony. Staff were so very friendly, always saying hello with a big smile. The cleaning crew were great and cleaned whenever this was requested (we averaged once every 4-days). It was a 10-min walk to our favourite beach location and loads of quality family run restaurants close by. The pool is wonderful and cleaned daily. The grounds are private and so very well maintained. The reception staff were very attentive, scooter hire was good and they helped with airport transfers. In summary it was a fantastic stay and we hope to come again

A truly amazing stay at this resort. The staff were so lovely and beyond helpful from arranging taxis, ferries and bicycles to recommending where to get nails done, they really went above and beyond. The pool area was great, as were the rooms. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended for an extra few nights. Would 100% recommend Lanta Lapaya.

Hotel was very good. Spacious, clean rooms. Nice swimingpool zone also suroundings was great.

Was so impressed with this place - lovely, clean and spacious bungalow, great pool and superb food. The staff were lovely too. Just wish I could have stayed longer - I can see why people extend their stay on the island! Will definitely return one day.

The environment is good, not far from the beach, and the room is quiet. Breakfast is a set meal.
