Coriacea Beachfront Boutique Phuket Resort - SHA Plus

We had the most fantastic time at Coriacea Boutique Resort. We enjoyed the relaxed and unpretentious vibe, while the staff and management were still extremely attentive, kind, and accommodating. We love that it is pet friendly and other guests’ pets were always well behaved. The pool was perfect and the beach was gorgeous eventhough we couldn’t swim in it due to the high tide of monsoon season.

The restaurant inside isn’t your average hotel restaurant. While they do serve a variety of dishes from outside Thailand, all their food is stellar. From northern dishes like Kao Soi, to southern staples like Geng Tdai Plaa, Geng Som, and other national dishes like Kao Mun Gai, Yen Ta Fo, and Boat Noodles, all were top notch with a home cooked feeling. We’ve been out to eat a lot in Thailand but at Coriacea there is no need. The head chef deserves high praise, even enough to earn a James Beard or Michelin Star, but talking with her it’s evident that she wants to keep the quality great and for the locals and respectful visitors.

What a treasure this place is. While there are many types of resorts all of the island, Coriacea is our speed and will be where we stay anytime we come back to Phuket.

This was great for the close proximity to the airport and a more quiet option as opposed the bustling city centres.
The restaurant/bar was lovely and the staff were so kind. Heads up, it is humid and hot so utilize the AC, which works quite well.
The only thing I would change would be the extra charges for “soiled sheets/towels” but I’m sure they had their reasons.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Coricea Hotel, located just a stone's throw away from HKT airport and a short walk to the beach.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff, who eagerly helped me with my bags before I even stepped out of the car!

The check in process was quick and very welcoming with a passion fruit drink for each guest.

The hotel has a dog-friendly policy.

In terms of transportation, there are bike tuk-tuks passing the hotel very often going into the town or to the nearby shops and restaurants. For airport transportation, I would recommended the grab app as the taxi service is 600 baht to HKT.

The hotel's attention to detail was also impressive, with clear signs and directions throughout the property.
The beds were comfortable, the shower pressure was good and the amenities were appropriately maintained.

My room was comfortable and clean, with a lovely balcony that offered stunning views of the beach directly across the street. This hotel definitely highlights the beauty of the sunset of Mai Khao Beach. The complimentary snacks in the hallway were a thoughtful touch, and the breakfast spread (served from 7am-10:30am) was delicious, with a small but satisfying menu and cook-to-order options.

Other perks included the hotel's non-smoking policy and the fact that the restaurant was open until 10pm. (Just a heads up: durian and mangosteen are banned on the premises, so fruit lovers take note!)

Overall, I highly recommend Coricea Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming stay near HKT airport. The staff's friendly service, combined with the hotel's many amenities and beautiful beachside location, make it a true gem.

*Pros:* Friendly staff, dog-friendly, comfortable rooms, beautiful beach views, complimentary snacks, delicious breakfast.
We also had access to bicycles which was a plus going into the town which is not far away. Walking distance to restaurants and shops.

*Cons:* None!

Stay over night for 2 reasons, we arrived at Phuket airport almost 10pm so this is quite a close one to choose. Checking in at late night overall quick&positive but it confused me when an elder staff took our passports out of my sight for a short while. Based on 1st reason, just 10 minutes walk along the beautiful Mai khao beach you could experience the jet blast during take off and unique flight view. I would not say the restaurant got very big space but is a very comfortable place to dining in with beach view. Staffs are friendly and warm hearted, not too much choices for breakfast but satisfying overall. Thank you Ms Min for a refreshing breakfast. By the way the only route to the flight viewing point lying in front of the hotel and lots of tuktuk passing by, not a big problem to me though.

Little bit dated but excellent otherwise. Quaint little resort just by the beach with a pool. Room was nice and clean, good bedding, good shower. Breakfast was very good, western menu and some Thai. 7-eleven is just a 1 minute bike ride out to the main road.

I liked the general atmosphere in this establishment, very nice and welcoming staff plus relative close proximity to the airport. Nice beach less than a minute walk from the hotel, although the beach was littered with trash which came with the waves from the ocean which sad because the area is very nice otherwise. I do recommend this hotel fondly.

Nice place to stay. Nice and simple breakfast options, everything was to my liking. Staff were very nice and helpful. Location was quite quiet - which removes a bit from the location stars on my books but some might prefer it. If I wanted to go and grab food out it required travelling a bit. But the beach was on the back doorstep.

Super nice place, affordable, great service.
Location is a bit away from main town but that’s the beauty of it.
Thai cultural is very interesting and a nice way.
Best of all is the people, food second!

We had a great time at Coriacea Resort! It really has the ‘boutique hotel’ feel, they all are very caring and accurate. Rooms are astonishing, we were able to see the view while in the shower. The masterpiece is the swimming pool, facing the pine wood and the sea. :-)
We had dinner twice in the restaurant- we normally don’t dine in hotels. The quality of the food, also for breakfast, was great!
Highly recommend this place to escape the overcrowded and alienating resorts everywhere else in Phuket.
