Metadee Concept Hotel offers a stunning tropical escape with its impressive pool complex and lush surroundings. The spacious rooms provide a comfortable stay, though the abundance of mosquitoes can be a bit of a nuisance.
While the hotel's secluded location offers tranquility, it's a bit removed from the main road, but the complimentary shuttle service is a convenient option, but it's worth considering if you prefer easy access to local facilities, such as 7Eleven, stores or cafes.
The front desk staff was efficient and courteous, making the check-in process smooth and hassle-free.

As a hotel, this place is great. The rooms have high ceilings, look super modern and have all the amenities you need. If you have a pool access room you get to slip into the pool whenever you want. The hotel is located 25 minutes walk from Kata Beach and has a shuttle that goes every few hours. They also have golf carts carting passengers to the end of the road where there’s plenty of restaurants and pharmacies, shops, tour agencies, etc. What you may not know is Kata Beach is a party beach. That means you will hear loud music from your room and the beaches are very crowded. It is also a bit more expensive. If you want a relaxing beach holiday, this location may not be for you. If you want live music, bars, lots of young people, parties, this is the spot. The scenery around the hotel is pretty and the beach is very pretty too but crowded and the rooms do not keep out the loud music. The hotel is very kid friendly which means expect lots of shouting kids outside all the time and especially in certain sections of the pool.

Stayed here for a week. The room and the hotel environment is ok. The cleaning service is not very good. There were a 2-3 days the cleaning staff didn’t clean the toilet properly. The service? The staff service is more like 1 star hotel rather than what a 5 star hotel has. Breakfast was no highlight neither.

We really enjoyed our stay. The junior suite was clean and spacious. Our 5yr and 8yr old kids loved the main pool. The pool is huge, and there is a second one that's more suitable for adults with elephant statues. The service is excellent. Everyone is very friendly, and chef Kamal looked after us for breakfast every day. The watersports crew and buggy drivers are always smiling and friendly. The sunset from the rooftop restaurant was amazing...we did it twice. Food and cocktails were good. We didn't mind the location, set away from the hustle and bustle of Kata. We explored the island using Grab, and the highlight was a trip to Maya Bay and Phi Phi. I think if you want something right on a beautiful beach you probably need to choose another island. We wanted to visit somewhere that has real life outside the hotel, and it does.

This place is ballin. It'd be a lot cooler if there were no kids and people were letting loose to House music at the pool, but I had a fantastic time. The jr suite was perfect for a couple. Our room opened up to the pool level at the gold area. It was surreal. The shuttle to the main road and to the beach was great. We had no issues. I would go there again for sure. I liked the resort more than what was outside of it. Except for food of course. The room was large and clean and ultra modern. I cannot recommend this place enough. I got drunk at both bars with my girlfriend. I was hoping to meet other people to talk with and hang but nobody was there to party or meet others. It was mostly romantic couples and families. My dream is this place adult only with late night and daytime dance parties.

Stunning rooms, a really cool pool that runs throughout the hotel, and the best breakfast we’ve ever had traveling. This place also has the nicest gym I’ve ever seen in a hotel. None of the TV channels are in English but you’re on vacation so you should be watching tv anyways, and almost all the staff speak perfect English (a few exceptions that are still learning English)
It’s not right against Kata beach but it’s an easy walk and they offer a shuttle every day. Amazing beach with great prices and quality for everything there

Stay in the resort side. It's well-maintained. The room is nice and clean.
Staff are excellent and friendly.
Breakfast got a good variety of food, even though there were lots of guests, they could manage to accommodate everyone smoothly.
Location is the only issue in Phuket if you choose to stay somewhere, it's better to explore the area rather than trying to go around with taxis. Anyway, there are public transport which is more adventurous and time consuming.

“Not all pool access room are real pool access ”
Here is my personal experience with Metadee Hotel for my 4 days stay with my family.
Pros:
- Great location, with free golf buggy that takes you to the Main Street and 3 daily shuttle buses to Kata main Beach - Lots of restaurants and a street market with food options nearby
- 10-15 minute walk to the Kata Night Market - Excellent breakfast with a variety of Asian and Western dishes, with a changing daily menu
- Nice pool that wraps around the hotel rooms and main pool area - Happy hour drinks at the pool bar from 5pm to 7pm daily Cons:
- Not all rooms are true "pool access" rooms - some have a small pool area that you have to walk out of to access the main pool
- Not all pool access rooms have a bathtub (beware)
- When we requested to change rooms to get a room with a bathtub on the first day, the hotel did not get back to us after 4 days (even we offer to pay extra), which was disappointing
- The hotel has an older wing with an older pool, which you have to walk 20 meters to access the new wing with the big pool and bar
Overall, the hotel is clean (the new wing), with friendly staff at the restaurant, bar, and housekeeping. However, there were many mainland Chinese tourists who did not seem to respect others, talking loudly in their own language.
Overall, I would rate this hotel 3 out of 5 stars as it was a bit of misleading info regarding pool access…

Absolutely loved our stay here. Breakfast spread was great and it even changes daily. Staff was friendly and nice as well. Pool is really large and it was nice to have a drink at the poolside bar as well. Our room was clean and very spacious and the toilet as well, with a bath included. I hope to be back soon.

Our stay in the hotel was wonderful. Very kind and helpful staff. Service was excellent. Room has been kept always clean and the staff went an extra mile to decorate our room when we arrived which was a such a pleasant surprise! Well designed rooms with all the furniture and convenient facilities available including USB charging sockets everywhere which is really appreciated. There is shuttle service available which is really nice and convenient to get to the main street. Pool is very well maintained and clean, always pleasant to dip in to cool off during heat. We have nothing but a 100% satisfaction with the service provided by the hotel. Definitely recommend and looking forward to come back in the future. Thank you for the amazing experience!
