STAY Resort has some nice features but also a few major downsides.
Firstly, they don't bring delivery food to your room. Instead, you have to pick it up in the parking lot, which is a hassle, especially since the resort is very large. The room service isn't available all the time either. It's not 24/7, and sometimes they aren't available because of "events."
You also can't smoke by the pool, even though it's outside. This might be frustrating to some.
The food inside the resort is quite expensive. If you're on a budget, this can be a big downside.
Lastly, the resort is very secluded and far from everything. While this makes it peaceful, it also means you have to travel a long way to get to any nearby attractions or conveniences.
In summary, STAY Resort is nice but has some significant inconveniences. If these issues are important to you, you might want to look for other places to stay.

A wonderful place to stay. Makes you never want to leave the hotel. Huge swimking pools, three floor gym, huge spa. Overall a great place to stay if you are looking for a retreat to exerxise, relax and have spa but also for couples or families who want to have a good time.

I have to say the staff, the resort, the quality of the food is the best experience we had in Thailand. We had the best 8 days of unwinding, exercise, massage we could have ever hoped for. The Clinic has top notch facilities and the staff are the most wonderful happy helpful people you can come across. We will go back and stay longer next year. Thank you again.

I had a great stay at the resort! I was there at the end of June and the beginning of July. The bed was very comfortable, but the water pressure in the shower wasn't that great. Considering the price of the hotel, I expected better. The gym is fully equipped. I've done the classes but seems good. The breakfast was average, and I believe you can find something better and cheaper on the streets, but it wasn't a big issue for me. The pools were amazing, but it was disappointing that they closed at 7 pm. It's quite hot at night, so I think they should consider keeping them open until 9 or 10. The Fresca and Chica rooftop were the highlights with beautiful food and great drinks. The staff were friendly. The resort is a bit remote, and I found it best to use the Grab app or rent a bike to get around.

What a relaxing time I had away from Bangkok.
A 3 Story Best in Class Weight Fitness Center!!! This is by far the best I’ve seen at a hotel/resort.
It’s hard to tell from the pictures, but there are also essentially 4 separate common pools with some rooms which have a swim up access to their room from the shared pools and other rooms which have their own plunge pools.
The landscaping is impeccable!
The food options at breakfast were good considering the number of rooms at the property, but does not have the amount of different offerings of major top branded hotel breakfast buffets.

We had very nice holiday here. Large hotel complex with pools, clean rooms, friendly staff. In the room including shampoo, conditioner and a hairdryer. Location is also good, it takes about 10 minutes to get to Rawai beach.

Despite being a well-structured resort, very clean and comfortable, what I liked least about my trip was the vibe of the staff.
My first trip to Thailand, the Stay resort was the first place I went to since arriving at the airport at 10pm. Full of expectations and happy, when I arrived at the restaurant at 10:40 pm everyone was rushing to close the restaurant at 11:30 pm and made me choose my food quickly, making me feel very uncomfortable, even though I understood that everyone was working hard all day, I still had 40 minutes to close the restaurant and because it is a tourist place, I believe that everyone should understand that it may be a tourist's first experience in the country.
It was the same the next few days. The employee who showed us to our room was super rushed without any contact other than: showing and explaining the room. No good energy at all. Every day the place was "down". Nobody laughs at you!
When I went to the restaurant one day to buy something from the bakery, there was nothing! Even though it was a remote resort with nothing around and I expected the resort to be able to attend to me at any time. There were only desserts.
I had high expectations of the resort from the moment I booked, I handpicked a place for the lifestyle concept, but it's every one for themselves at the hotel. You do everything on your own, there's no direct contact in the room with reception, no phone, no whats app, so you have to go there if you need anything! When I called on messenger, every answer was automatic.
It was the cleanest place I've ever been to in so many years of traveling, it's a shame they don't know how to manage it and make it a lighter and happier environment

Although the hotel boasted a beautiful ambiance, the service fell short of expectations. Regrettably, the staff lacked warmth and attentiveness. Additionally, the linens provided were uncomfortably itchy, detracting from the overall comfort of the stay. Showers also did not have hot water.
The saddest of all - not one staff smiled and guests seemed the same. Very flat environment. Other wellness retreats around the globe lift your energy immediately as any "wellness" body mind and spirit retreats would. I smiled at every staff I came across they just looked at me like I was crazy lol. Then I stopped and instantly felt saddened. Not my type of place.
Shocking in a country where the people are known to be happy and helpful and utmost respectful. Not so much here.
I hope they re-evaluate the training and expectations of staff and guest interactions. 🙏

Really nice resort with modern and stylish rooms with great amenities. I loved the onsen spa as it has multiple pools of different temperatures, cold room, steam room as well as sauna. There were also several pools at the resort, so it never feels crowded.
Well equipped gym, with a variety of fitness classes which you can join- I did yoga one morning and really enjoyed it.
The location is slightly far away from the touristic centre of Phuket, which for us was a plus as we wanted to have a relaxing holiday.
The food and service at the hotel could be improved though— staff were slightly slow and not as attentive as they could have been.

The best hotel in Thailand, or I couldn't really describe the place even as a hotel, but something much better. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful. I got an ear infection on a diving trip and the hotel had its own doctor, from whom I received anti-inflammatory drugs. 10,000 points for this, and the doctor / wellness clinic was a wonderful place. Le Spa, it was something unimaginable. The treatments were like magic, I had a facial and the skin is still being praised weeks later, what the hell have I done to my face when it looks so good.
The food was heavenly from breakfast to dinner and so fresh.
In addition to this, all Sports opportunities were in a class of their own. Overall a 6/5 experience and I will definitely come again. This was the kind of place that in the future I would dare to go on vacation alone. They took such good care here and felt safe, which is really important to me as a woman.
Thank you to the entire Stay staff, you made my vacation magical and relaxing.
