Wyndham Grand Beach Phuket - SHA Extra Plus Hotel

The hotel room was spacious and clean. It had a great view from the balcony. The in room dining service was great as the food arrives within 20 minutes. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle from the city!

Decent hotel near Nai Harn beach. The hotel does in my opinion not live up to a 5-star level. The rooms are ok, but building quality and materials are more in the 3-star category. The underground parking is by far one of the worst I have seen in any 5-star hotel and scary to walk in the night time. This needs to be fixed urgently with proper lighting and it looked more like a construction site. The entrance to the underground parking lot looks like a dead end, but finally there was a sharp turn into the dark and water filled garage at the end. No signs and poorly designed. Until the underground parking is fixed I would offer the clients concierge service so they don't see the poorly built parking area. Since most travellers don't come by car this is not a problem, but this is for the hotel management to take note of. The service was great. The walk to the rooms was somewhat burdensome, as its a narrow passage and also involves stairs over the pool bridge. Escalator at the very end of the corridor. Bascially fairly long walkways. Of course the staff will assist with bringing luggage to the room, but for older people something to consider. The pool area looks nice, but obviously its surrounded by lots of rooms, which gives it a concrete jungle feel. The food and drinks at the restuarant were good. For the price I would have expected a higher standard. I would personally not recommend this hotel, as I have stayed in a lot of better hotels on the island. The reason why I booekd it was to be close to my friend's villa. I will most likely never return. Hope this is seen as honest and productive feedback to improve.

I spent the first night in a standard room on the second floor and then moved into a suite with a friend. The standard room was cozy and had a balcony facing the forest so it was private, but the room was so musty I could barely stand the smell. They put an aroma oil burner in my room for me, so it helped temporarily mask the smell, but it’s embedded into everything. The staff are great. Then - moving to the suite was amazing. There was no smell and It was large with a great soaker tub, sofa, chez lounge and comfy bed! We had a great time by the pool bar as well. The pizza is good! But all other food is mediocre. The pad thai was disappointing; dry and needed more spice, sauce and some cilantro. The food is very overpriced. If people are paying that much, please make it worth it. Pad Thai is a local dish, so really should be much better. The pool is decent, but the whole thing is very shallow so it’s suited to kids mostly. Not much room to swim lengths. There is a shuttle to the beach and it’s nice, but the waves and rip tide can be quite dangerous. Overall I would stay in the suite again, but not the musty rooms.

The architect of the hotel itself is really nice and beautiful. The interior design is very trendy and luxurious. Appreciate the complimentary activities provided by the hotel. We have tried the Thai boxing and the pilates class.

Wyndham Grand Naiharn Beach Phuket is a must-see... Thursday, September 2, 2021, My wife and I stayed at Wyndham Naiharn Beach Phuket. The hotel staff gave me and my wife a warm and friendly welcome. This is a new 5 star resort opened next to Naiharn Lake in Naiharn Beach area. The staff is very kind and professional. The rooms and facilities are clean and modern. I enjoyed the floating breakfast basket, it is very fantastic and romantic. There are not many guests at the moment due to Covid 19. However, many people seem to like this resort. There is a mini market and some good restaurants nearby. The local commercial streets of Naiharn are close to Wyndham Grand Naiharn Beach resort, so tourists can enjoy good massage parlors, European style cafes and delicious restaurants.

My wife and I stayed here with her 2 sisters for a night and we loved our short break. The room was spotless with a comfortable bed! The amenities in the room were just right. The hotel has an Olympic length swimming pool which I really enjoyed for my morning laps. The breakfast is a la carte due to the Covid-19 situation but it was more than enough. I loved the beef curry roti wz because Chef Suchart cooked it in Krabi style using lots of Thai herbs and spices in this dish! A big thank you to you and your team chef! And never forget to mention the restaurant staff who took care of us that day. Ms Nan and Ms Su you did a great job and I enjoyed the conversation as you shared my story as a former hotelier. I will definitely be back if my travel plan is for my next holiday. Keep up the good work and hope your business is better when this pandemic is over. Cheers! Sunny and Aom
