Reviews
Living in the forest is just so wet, hot, and many mosquitoes, and loud…
Can not have good sleeps during my stay
Also the bed sheet is not cool one, can be used in the winter time, very thick…
抱歉,我不会推荐这家酒店……
住在森林里又湿又热,蚊子又多,而且很吵……
入住期间我睡不好觉。
床单也不凉快,冬天可以用,很厚……
We came her in April for our honeymoon with our 2 year old and extended family. It was absolutely perfect! The beach was shaded all day long by the enormous trees so perfect for kids to play. The rooms were all little huts with luxury interior and stunning views. The drinks and food were yummy and very affordable. Plenty of options for our little boy too. The staff were so helpful and happy. You can either walk to the centre of phi phi or hop on a long tail boat for a small cost. It was tucked in the trees away from the main noise but accessible when you want to go out in the evenings. Absolutely loved every second!
Pros:
A la carte menu good and prices seemed comparable to other tourist trap restaurants on island as whole island is a tourist trap.
Hammocks and balcony outside to nice if you have time to enjoy it. We didn't, unfortunately.
Nice secluded beach albeit very rocky so watch where you step.
Cons:
No idea that only way to hotel was via dinky taxi boat that dumps you into the water (above knee) so avoid trainers and long trousers.
When we arrived: the people with the most expensive rooms/bungalows were taken to their rooms immediately, irrespective of if you had gotten there first.
AC broken in room 17. Either Baltic temperature at constant full blast or off.
Holes in mosquito nets on windows allowing too many little friends in.
Staff were least accommodating and least kind we have experienced in our three week Thailand holiday (everyone in Bangkok and Chiang Mai was absolutely wonderful).
Small rooms were uncomfortably small. Nowhere to put your luggage or similar (no space for night stands or chairs or anything. )
Also the small rooms are a good 10-15 min hike from reception where you could easily break a leg or similar as the pavers over the ground are all unstable or broken so bring hauled luggage at your own risk.
Breakfast was varied but not completely edible. Their shrimp dumplings and bean paste buns were put out into the steamer still frozen and was fed to guests that way.
Constant construction compromised our ability to enjoy the scenery. Seems like that's been an issue for a long while based on other reviews.
Note. Do not stay here if you can’t climb out of a moving boat on a beach or walk .7km into town up and down hill….
The beach is small and private and you can get a massage while you look out to sea. The restaurant has amazing food and the tables are just off the beach. A longtail boat takes 5 mins to tonsai pier.
You will be picked up from there free of charge on your arrival to Phi Phi and be taken to Viking Nature Resort.
A paradise on earth, we will be revisiting again next year.
