Viking Nature Resort

Amazing remote location on super clean private beach. Staff are really nice, the rooms are really cool (try and stay in the Rimlay rooms with a seas view) and the breakfast is great.
Note. Do not stay here if you can’t climb out of a moving boat on a beach or walk .7km into town up and down hill….

A beautiful, quiet, secluded place away from the lively atmosphere of Phi Phi center.
The beach is small and private and you can get a massage while you look out to sea. The restaurant has amazing food and the tables are just off the beach. A longtail boat takes 5 mins to tonsai pier.
You will be picked up from there free of charge on your arrival to Phi Phi and be taken to Viking Nature Resort.
A paradise on earth, we will be revisiting again next year.

Really beautiful rustic resort. We stayed for 1 night in Rimlay 5 which was absolutely beautiful. We could have easily stayed another few nights as the place was just so scenic and chilled out. As we were there 1 night we just spent the day on their lovely little beach and had cocktails and dinner in their restaurant. Worth paying a little bit more for one of the rooms near the beach. Would absolutely recommend this place if you just want a chilled and relaxing time in beautiful surroundings.

Amazing experience! Before I get into the review. If you have mobility issues this may not be the place for you. This is a rustic atmosphere with many uneven walking surfaces.

We stayed in a Tree House villa with panoramic sea views. We could have easily stayed here for a week and the serene tropical jungle, falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the private beach below. It felt like we were in our own private beach getaway. Out of 5 hotels on our trip this was number 1. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially with our luggage to and from the room. Good restaurant and food. The private beach was beautiful with great views. You could walk to town along the water which takes about 15 minutes. Or hop in the long tail boat that cost 100 baht each way. Viking Hotel may not be for everyone but if you like adventure and off the beaten path then this is your place!

We were very lucky to have booked at Viking and got one of the best rooms we’d ever stayed. If possible go for the newer rooms. It’s worth to pay the additional fee for an upgraded room because of the better view and modern and clean feel.
If we go back to phi phi this would definitely be our first choice.
Staff is very helpful and friendly as well and the private beach offers free beanbags and the possibility to take a relaxing massage.

It is hard to put into words how amazing this place is. The most unique and cool place I have ever stayed. Our family of 4 had an entire villa of 3 separate rooms, basically a luxury tree house. The beds are soft, the air-con is cold and the timber rooms and huge bathrooms in the villa are a complete treat everywhere you look there are cool touches. Monkeys can visit in the evening. The dinner is great. Breakfast is satisfying. You can just kick back on the little private beach and swim. Long-tailed boats to and from main jetty leave frequently. Depending on the tide you may be walking over some rocks and if you have mobility issues or need accessible accommodation, this is not the place for you.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Viking Nature Resort and would highly recommend it. The setting is beautiful and away from the hustle and bustle of town, but also close enough to walk to town. The private beaches on property are perfect, and we enjoyed the walk to town to get some exercise. While a touch rustic, our room was clean, comfortable, and very spacious. The rooms also feel very private. The resort has a nice breakfast and good food throughout the day.

A very pleasant hotel, it could deserve 4,5/5.
The rooms are beautiful (and quite high, so we had monkeys visiting our balcony).
The access from Tonsai is easy with the free shuttle of the hotel.
Everything is well organized and works well, like the check-in and check-out with the staff that takes your luggage to or from your room... I was very impressed.
The restaurant is good too : the thing to improve is to synchronize dishes of a same table... My husband had finished to eat and I hadn't even begun (that happened everytime we ate there).

Viking Resort is located at a private beach property in Ko phi phi, the resort provide their own boat facilities scheduled timely to reach to the property from the main Phi phi ferry dock.
It’s a secluded beach property with amazing views, you can even snorkel out there.
The room had a WOW view and the food was also good.
