ANKARA EVREN Mini-hotel

This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. First of all, the location is absolutely horrible. When we arrived, even the taxi driver asked us if we were sure this was the right place because it was in such a miserable area. There was smoke everywhere, and the buildings around it looked like they were about to collapse. The entire area was catastrophic and felt completely unsafe.

My friend and I booked a room for one night since we had something to do in Ankara the next morning. On the reservation, it clearly showed we had a private room with two beds. But when we arrived, the receptionist told us the room we booked was actually shared with six people! How is this even possible? We had to pay an extra 1000 TL just to have a private room together.

The room itself was awful. The beds were so uncomfortable—they were basically two pieces put together, which made it impossible to lie down properly. My back wasn’t even on the bed; only my legs and head had any support. It was one of the worst nights I’ve ever had.

To make things worse, the location wasn’t just bad—it was terrible. It was so far from the city center that it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. There was also no Wi-Fi at all, which is unacceptable for a hotel in this day and age.

Everything about this place was a nightmare: the location, the extra charges, the uncomfortable beds, and the lack of Wi-Fi. I would never, ever stay here again, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid this hotel at all costs.

The absolute worst experience I had at a hotel while travelling across Turkey. We had booked a standard double room and upon arrival the owner tried to scam us into paying 700try more for the room we had already booked. We refused to pay and instead got a room with two beds(one of which was unusable because there was a massive hole in the middle of the mattress), no windows, and no private bathroom. The air was so stale, there was clearly no ventilation. Stay away.

Staff stay we could extend our stay one more night and that it was "no problem". We came back to the hotel to see they had removed our bags from our room and made us pay for a more expensive room as they double booked our room.
Young man with glasses (staff) was super nice and helpful with translation, but older staff kept looking at us making us uncomfortable and were very rude for a mistake they had made.

Very bad hotel. Not recommended at all.

Just don't waste your time. All the photos are fake, its actually a matress on the ground and a shared bathroom. Insanely bad place.
