Lara Mini-hotel

Hotel is outdated but view from the balcony is good. Unfortunately you'll here planes constantly passing and management at reception will check your shopping bags. They uphold a strict rule; no food or drinks. You'll feel like prisoner. They'll take any sweets, drinks, water or sweet from you. I stayed for 9 nights and my son and I would go for long walk. We would buy water or small snacks if we passed shops. What we didn't finish, we bring back for next day. Staff would take that off us and say you can have it tomorrow. One occasion my son brought some sweets to take back with us for his sister. They took that off us even though we explained that it will not be consumed here. Very disappointed. I have no intention of coming back to this Hotel for my dental treatment vists.

Do not use this hotel. Bags searched in case you have bought from shop instead of there extortionate price from minibar or restaurant attached. Food for sale in room also out of date. Another guest issue with mobile phone going missing and reappearing then bar staf member entering persons bedroom at 5.30am with lie checking minibar. Was to rob him of his cash. Lots guest are in this hotel for dental treatment so are carrying thousands of pounds to pay for treatment. 2nd time I’ve been in this hotel and wil def not being staying again to finish my treatment. Was here as lots travel solo for same thing so outside pool area is nice and meet other guests having same treatment. Rooms very dated and old. Certain receptions man young tall with glasses has a power ego. Guest checked out for telling everyone about bar staff entering room to rob him, myself threatened and bullied and room ring to threaten checkout if didn’t hand over a can of pop purchased from shop for fraction of price they charge even though it was to take to hospital stay the next day. Restaurant food you pay for is nice but so expensive as is the drinks that guest go out to eat and drink for a fraction of the price. Be prepared to be treated like a criminal having bags searched and items removed from you if not purchased from them with threat of being checked out. They are money mad even if drink water by the pool. Also do not leave anything of value in the room and if solo especially put suitcase blocking door overnight . Lots people not happy the nine days I just been there, and said wil not return again or were not happy being put there for there dental work. I was also ripped of on my 1st visit. £7 for a carton of milk for my cup of tea in room. Go to shop it’s 38lira. 2 ladies charged 50 quod for basic bottle of white white night if arrival. Half pint bottle of corona beer for example in room is 380 lira . 7/8 pounds. Check dates in the stuff in room if you want to purchase any. Mine was already a month out of date. I did not purchase any. Eat out and drink out for fraction of the price by the pool and portion is small as well as expensive. This hotel is mainly served for dental treatment with your package bed and breakfast (Turkish food) but pool area food or room food and drink is extortionate. Avoid. This hotel is money mad and sadly the couple bad apple staff who are power mad especially to females

It was a horrible experience!!! The hotel rooms were extremely outdated. It smelled damp & mildew. We felt extremely uncomfortable from the moment we walked in, but we tried to make it work. We went down to the front desk and asked for a corkscrew for our wine bottle. They recommended we just bring it down to the bar and have them open it, so we did once we got out there they opened it. We asked for glasses, the young lady put two glasses on our table and we ordered drinks from the bar. A waiter came over and told us it was forbidden to drink outside drinks, but apparently we could drink in our tight smelly room. We were unaware because all of the workers prior to him instructed us to go out to the bar and even gave us glasses. But we were okay with that. We corked our wine and waited for the drinks from the bar. A while later, the owner came over EXTREMELY HOSTILE and yelled. “We must take your bottle and give it to the front desk. You can get it when you go back to your room.” We didn’t understand because we weren’t drinking it anymore. But it made us extremely uncomfortable because of the way he was coming off. They took the wine and we weren’t interested in getting that back from hostile strangers. We did not even stay that night. We went to our room searched for a different place and went to THE AMAZING LIMAK LARA!! Coming from the USA this was not a safe or welcoming experience after traveling across the country. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND!

This place is filthy and the customer service is HORRENDOUS‼️ I was Giving a recommendation by luxury Dental to stay in this hotel and it was one of the absolute worst days I have ever encountered in my entire life! Avoid this place at all cost!!! I was booked to stay May 17, 2025 through May 24, 2025 and I left the same night that I arrived! Yes, it was that bad! The manager along with some of the hotel staff was very aggressive and rude! A lot of people who stay here are recommended by LD. If you are planning to have a procedure done, this is the last place you want to stay. It’s loud because of construction and the airport being so close. When people are having any kind of procedure they need to be in a place that is sanitary. Also a place that has up to date safety equipment on the doors. The Ac unit was broken and the room and hallway smelled like mold and musty. I give this place a negative 100! Do not stay here!

Just come back from a week at Lara hotel, on entering the hotel it looked very nice but very disappointed with the room. It was very dated, the bathroom had a very bad odour coming from the drains. Had trouble sleeping due to a very noisy fridge and you could hear your neighbours talking in the next room. The breakfast was shockingly bad. The pool was very nice with lovely comfy sunbeds and the music they played in the bar area was fantastic excellent choice of music but unfortunately the prices they charge for drinks was way too much so many people were going to the local shop to bring there own drinks in. Location was good close to a nice park & waterfall.

The Rooms are old and tired and the walls are paper thin. The noise that you have to deal with all day and all night is unbearable. Reception team are unhelpful, and best of all the food and drink is massively over priced. What is not to love! Well all of it actually.

Terrible and noisy ,This hotel is on the flight path and flights go all day and night till midnight.There is music playing by the pool from 9am till midnight and the noise travels up the rooms and the windows dont Block out the noise.It is not a good place to relax . We left after one night.
