Akkan Hotel

We had such a great time at The Akaan Luxury Hotel in Bodrum. The manager was honestly the highlight — super friendly, helpful, and always around to make sure we had everything we needed. He even gave us a free room upgrade to the sea view terraced room. He helped guide us through our stay in Bodrum with great tips and recommendations, and really went the extra mile every day. The hotel itself was really clean, cosy, and comfortable, and all the staff were lovely and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again huge thanks to the manager for making our trip so easy and enjoyable!

City hotel with a great location, in the very center of the city on a pedestrian street. Helpful staff, always ready to help. The room was cleaned and towels were changed daily, shampoo, shower gel and soap were always available, there are more than one pair of slippers in the room.
A very comfortable bed, there is a warm blanket, after sleep I felt rested and full of energy.
Breakfast is served from 8.00 to 10.00 standard Turkish breakfast of a city hotel, everything is fresh and there is enough of everything, there are even local pastries.
My room was on the third floor with a sitting area and a terrace, there is furniture on the terrace - a sofa, two armchairs and a table, in the evening a beautiful view of the bay opens from the terrace.
All day I explored the surroundings of Bodrum and in the evening it was nice to enjoy the evening coolness in a conversation on the terrace.
After a week's stay at the hotel, only warm memories and a desire to come back again remained. The only thing I missed was the lack of a clothes dryer on the terrace.

Location: The location of this hotel was truly amazing, situated right on the beach and marina. This prime waterfront spot allowed for easy access to all the top attractions and sights in the area. I was able to walk to many restaurants, shops, and landmarks with ease, making it a very convenient home base for my stay. The beautiful views of the ocean and harbor were an added bonus.

Staff: The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and friendly specially Sofia. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant and comfortable experience. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone I interacted with was polite, attentive, and eager to assist me with any questions or requests I had.

Facilities: However, there was one significant downside to my stay - there was an unpleasant smell present in my room and, from what I could gather, in other guest rooms as well. I'm not sure if it was related to the plumbing, ventilation, or some other issue, but this odor was quite noticeable and disappointing. It did not seem to affect the common areas of the hotel.

Overall, I had a mixed stay at this hotel. The unbeatable waterfront location and fantastic staff made for many positive aspects, but the persistent bad smell in the rooms was a real problem. I would recommend this hotel with the caveat that the odor issue in the guest rooms may need to be addressed. With some improvements in that area, this could be an excellent option for travelers looking to be right on the beach and marina.

Enes and I stayed in akkan hotel for a week ( first timers). Everything was really great. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end ( sofia and Can). The buffet breakfast was great as well I recommended this place if you value kind and nice hosts. The room was as described and everything in the room was working.

We had a great stay at Akkan, rooms are clean, beds are comfy, nice little balcony with a view on the castle and the sea. Breakfast is delicious, location is fantastic and the staff are nice and always there for you, Can is super attentive, he was supportive & provide the help when needed. We highly recommend staying at Akkan. We stayed in other boutik hotels in bodrum, they were nice and more of hostels, Akkan is a hotel type of accommodation which is great. Thank you Can & staff
