Lunar Cappadocia Hotel

This place welcomes its guests by entering a nice and quiet courtyard with a perfectly green garden filled with small trees, flowers and everything feels so calming and relaxing. Lunar Hotel has cave type rooms and they’re all different. Generally them rooms are big enough and based on my experience, I had A/C in mine which I used since it was mid August.

We got two single and comfy beds, there was tea, water, coffee and few snacks. Bathroom is pretty big: shower and bathtub, wc and a spacious sink. Wished there was better lighting but it was okay anyway. Other than common toiletries, a hairdryer is also provided.
My room had also a small balcony over the courtyard which was pretty cute.
Staff will clean and change towels everyday.

I had breakfast included in my booking and went for it only once and felt bad I almost missed it as they offer a big variety of options spacing from cereals, biscuits to fresh and dried fruits, eggs cooked in different ways, cold cuts, cakes, yogurts, juices, milks, and so on. Everything was fresh and eventually hot. Would recommend it.

Speaking of the view: there’s a spacious terrace with pillows and carpets and it’s all very aesthetic. Such a nice spot for few pics with all the hot air balloons during sunrise. We were lucky we only came across a couple that morning therefore we basically had the whole place for us for pics.
The view is great but surely spots on the hills is definitely way better than a terrace.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking spots available right next to the hotel. Getting there can be confusing but easy to get to. They offered few activities although we had all planned previously.

This cave hotel is fantastic! It was exactly what we needed to start our vacation right! The grounds of the hotel are luscious and green. The room was super clean and had everything needed including sleepers. The hotel is located on the higher ground and has a terrace with a spectacular view of the Goreme, perfect for sunsets and watching balloons at sunrise. The breakfast was the best we had!

Perfect 4D3N stay at Cappadocia. The room is clean and equipped with the basic amenities. The staff are very friendly and helpful; they are very responsive via email and assisted me for the airport transfer booking. The hotel is located at the top of the hill where you can enjoy the view of the hot balloons in the morning or a perfect sunset in the evening at the terrace bar. Last but not least, the hotel serves a very good breakfast spread, I really enjoy the breakfast! I highly recommend Lunar Cappadocia Hotel to everyone visiting Cappadocia. I will definitely come back again.

If I could, I would give 6 starts.
Rooms are clean, spacious and new. Breakfast has a good variety.
Premises very nice with a great rooftop terrace. From here, you have a great view on the passing balloons.
The staff is super attentive and helpful.
The hotel is only a short walk into the center

Staff are very friendly and helpful, the location was very central with only a 5 min walk into town (downhill).
Our room was very big which was refreshing compared to other parts of Europe we’ve visited on our trip.
The view of the hot air balloons in the morning was amazing from the viewing platform.
Breakfast was delicious.

Recently stayed here and had a wonderful experience. The staff are so so helpful and nice, the room had so much character and was huge for the family suite that we booked. Breakfast was extensive with lots of variety, the cakes were amazing. We loved Mr Pickle, the resident dog and the cats, who loved coming into our room when we left the door open.
Location was higher up so the views were phenomenal. We walked into town and taxied back up for 115 lira.
Would def recommend for a stay in Goreme.

It was a wonderful cave hotel with a gorgeous view of hot air balloons at dawn. The breakfast was great with many options and they gave you free Turkish coffee and tea too. The location is at the top of a hill with a view a the entire city of Goreme. They also gave you many amenities such as slippers and scrubs. The environment was peaceful and relaxing. Overall a great experience, I would definitely recommend this hotel for people going to Cappadocia.

Very unique experience of having the rooms in a cave like concept. Staff were very friendly.

Will be able to view the hot air balloons from the rooms early in the morning slightly before sunrise.

Breakfast spread was also good. Hotel is located at the top Goreme town which is about 10 - 12 min driving or walking down.

Rooms are very spacious and comes with out door resting area too. Value for money and worth experiencing.

There was some issue with the aircon in our room. But as it was quite cold during night it wasn't very bad. Staff also were helpful and understanding to assist to turn off the heater.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with a 5 star hotel and the breakfast is also really good with lots to eat and freshly baked goodies. Hotel rooms and bathrooms are very big and clean. Located in one of the best locations in Göreme as it is high up in the mountain with a beautiful terrace. The hotel is also close to main tourist attractions and you can even see Red Valley and Sunset Point from the terrace. The hotel staff was very warm, welcoming, and helpful.

Ps: The only concern was about the safe that wasn't locked down and you could pick and walk away.

Had a memorable stay here with my family. Amazing cave hotel. Spacious, beautiful, cosy, stylish room well equipped with basic amenities. Booked a family suite. Bed and duvet is super comfortable. Toilet is amazing with bathtub. We went during winter, the heated flooring and room kept us warm and cosy. Staffs are very hospitable. 24 hours front desk is available. Free parking is available if you are renting a car. Location is good, close to most attractions, restaurants and shops. The view, is picturesque. You don't have to go far to see the hot air baloons. Just open your door and the magical hot air balloons view is all yours. Special shout out to Ahmad for assisting us from check in until the day we are leaving. He was very kind and very accomodating. Thank you for making our stay memorable. My girls love the bracelets you gave them.
