Hotel Greenland - All Inclusive

Hotel was nice, our cleaner was lovely. Food was good considering its end of season. Buses easily available to go out. Room was small but did us okay. Got over charged in the onsite shop, so went to the local supermarket after that. The trips we booked was lovely, great scenery. We would go back.

Fantastic place, food is the same as any all inclusive hotel. Drinks available and served Quickly. Pool are epic. Pancakes are out of this world.
Would most definitely return.

Hubby booked us a week away as a surprise for my 40th.
I was not disappointed.
Good variety of entertainment for the evenings. 2 pools to choose from depending on whether you want quiet or noisy.
Good selection of food for the buffet. It felt like no sooner had we finished 1 meal another option was on the go.
Hotel grounds and rooms were clean and well maintained.
Good location, with plenty to do near by.
I absolutely want to come back for another holiday 🥰

I really wanted to be able to give a 5 star review for this hotel, because there's so much to love. We loved the gardens, swimming pools and location. We absolutely loved the cats/kittens and other animals around the grounds. The hotel was perfect for us, we felt safe as 2 mums with kids, and it was only a short, cheap taxi into the busy towns & shops. I'm glad we weren't based in Oludeniz itself to be honest, that's a quite intense place, fun to visit though. The staff were absolutely lovely, particularly the ladies who make pancakes near the top pool.
The rooms are small but practical, the standard rooms are only suitable for 2 people (the 3rd bed is toddler sized and there is no spare space anywhere), but the air con is awesome (which was essential), the beds are *very* firm, but wasn't a problem.
The reason I've only given 4 stars was because I got food poisoning. It was just me, no one else was affected in our party. It was before we'd ventured out from the hotel and knocked me out for a day. I'm convinced it was from chilled but runny eggs on the salad bar, I'd eaten/drank similar to others that day who were unaffected, but I'm veggie and eat eggs/cheese when I can/instead of meat. It's not great; when you're only there for a few days losing 1 or 2 days through illness is frustrating. We all stayed clear of that central salad bar after that.
The food is like many other all inclusive hotels, I suspect - not that inspiring, but the soups were actually fabulous, I particularly loved the tomato one. And the pancake ladies were fantastic, and their pancakes (gozleme) gorgeous 😁 Ice cream is only available 4-5pm each day, the kids would prefer this as dessert at meals, for example. But it did mean it was a highlight in the day, as it was really good ice-cream, not nasty cheap stuff.
All in all, we had a fantastic holiday and for the price paid, it was excellent value for money.

Overall summary as a regular single male traveller (start of season so hotel relatively quiet). Having been a little concerned reading some reviews I was very pleasantly surprised and this was reflected meeting guests who had stayed before (some for the past 10 years). This is a gem of a hotel with fantastic staff and service, a large quiet pool is a bonus in a smaller hotel and the food offers a reasonable selection and is very well prepared. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I would definitely visit again as the experience was extremely good at a budget price.

Just returned from a week's stay here with my family and I can not praise the hotel enough, set in the most beautiful surroundings the view from the pool is unreal, the hotel staff were so nice and friendly and the entertainment manager ( Belkay) was brilliant, food was what you would expect from an all inclusive holiday we found something different to eat most days, the entertainment was brilliant and kept the 3 kids entertained and we had such a laugh, would highly recommend and we will be returning

1 week stay in Apartment block 6, beside the top "quiet" pool
Staff were lovely, breakfasts were OK, lunch & supper had a reasonable choice every day
Good salads, mixed hot dishes, fish, chicken, beef & various kebabs

My experience with hotel Green land;
So I will admit it definitely started off rocky for the first day. I'm very lucky to have brought my own gluten free bread and wraps and would very much recommend you do this if you are coming and you are gluten free. We went for this holiday because we did see fantastic reviews from other gluten free customers.
At first I thought it was the hotel not understanding that I couldn't eat gluten, I'm not sure what went wrong but it got lost in communication with TUI although I told them twice I'm gluten free and my partner put it down in the booking, they for some reason put me down as vegetarian.
There was one cook down at the bottom pool who had terrible customer service experience and did not help at all when I asked him as simply as I could what I could eat and even refused me icecream on my first day because I didn't want a cone and I wasn't too happy with the receptionist who brought me all the way down to "resolve this" when all he did was side with said cook who did also have a problem with me asking about another item that same day. "Dunno! Maybe?!!" Is the answers I would get and the receptionist was making out I wasn't allowed icecream in a cup because it's a China cup... when there was China plates and cups all around the pool(?) I refused to let this put me off though and after some reaching out, Hasan, my tui rep and the restaurant manager became great help and communication for me. Once the restaurant manager understood my needs he was more than attentive. The only issue I will say is the lack of breakfast choice not just for myself but others, it was mostly eggs and beans a lot the time and my partner said the milk was warm when he wanted cereal. The desserts wasn't too appetising in my opinion, for some reason everything even the cakes seemed wet/ soggy and there didn't seem too much fruit choices, not even fruit salad for example.
I will also say the drinks were awful, very limited drink selection of soft drinks, only a beer no cider and a cocktail menu of 90% of blue curuco based drinks and very watered down juice (if you could call it that). I did ask for a pina colda on my first day and I know it should be coconut milk but the guy put normal milk in and the cocktail completely curdled, looked awful to say the least.
I found the hotel shop very hit and very miss. My partner went in for some sunglasses and he had just come back with some from the hotel shop when I noticed there was a crack in the glasses, he exchanged for a different pair but within a matter of hours of him just sitting by the sunbeds or just by the pool, the glasses snapped in half on his face. I went down to show the guy in the hotel shop and he was so unbelievably rude that he tried blaming my partner for breaking them, told me loads of people buy them and don't come back, proceeded to throw the glasses across the counter and threw his arm up telling me "FINE! GO! go choose another pair BUT last one! No more!" When I was about to leave the shop then he shouted at me "BUT NO MORE EXCHANGE!" Was glad that happened on my last afternoon..
In the end though, it did turn around greatly for my gluten allergy issue and I will say go to the bar at the top pool, me and my partner spent most our time up there and I must give a massive shout out to Esar at the top bar, we didn't understand each other at first but when I explained I just wanted some icecream in a cup, he even ran around to the plastic cups and pointed to them as in to say "is that what you would like??" I had to tip him for excellent customer service it made my holiday especially after the rudeness on my first day from the other guy down at the bottom pool.
Rooms was basic but the sheets, pillows were quite stained and no bin in the room only one small tiny bin in the bathroom.
We would love to return but would love to see some improvements taken on board.

You know that feeling when you book a hotel, and you just hope you got it right? We got it right, and you will do to when you book Hotel Greenland.

First of all, it's a stunner. The gardens are meticulously looked after, and are guarded by a troop of epic Tortoises! The hotel is surrounded by mountains and a woodland, it's seriously picturesque. It's quiet! Out the way, yet a quick walk will get you to a Dolmus stop, or there is a taxi call point right outside the hotel.

The staff are very warm and friendly and were very helpful. We were allocated a ground level room, with a view of the pool. We felt very overlooked as people walked right passed. After a quick conversation with reception, we were shown another room and were moved within a couple of hours as they needed to make the room up. What a stunner of a room it was, beautiful views of the woodland behind, and mountains to the right. It was a deluxe twin room, number 635 if you would like a more natural feel and away from the pool area.

Food was very tasty and there was a decent selection. Everything was well labelled including food intolerance markers. Wine was readily available in the restaurant, a selection of White, Red and Rose' as you'd expect.

In terms of other drinks, read the information given by the hotel. There were approximately 10 variations of free cocktails which contained local spirits, branded are extra. All bars are free, except the very top bar which is extra.

It was our first time in the Oludeniz area, the hotel position was perfect for jumping on a Dolmus to Fethiye or Kayakoy.

Book it, you won't regret it!
