Sun City Apartments & Hotel

The rooms were very small for self catering apartment. The cleaning was not good enough. We had to ask for the cleaner to actually clean our balcony one day as it hadn't been done. The shower was not cleaned down once the whole two weeks we were there. The bathroom itself was not cleaned everyday either. In the kitchen, if you can call it that, there was not enough crockery nor cutlery to furnish the three occupants. There was no proper cooking utensils, we had to buy our own! There wasn't enough bedding for us, we asked for more which we got at reception only for the cleaner to remove some of it so we had to ask again. If we were in when they came, they emptied bins and left everything else, never came back later. Everywhere else I have been in both Türkiye and Europe, cleaners have either cleaned around us or came back when we were out. Some days they never even made the beds. We are glad we were self catering as we only ate at the restaurant once and quite frankly the food was awful. It was undercooked, cold and not enough choice. We spoke to three or four other couples and families who were half board or all inclusive who echoed this. The staff we not exactly welcoming either. The entertainment staff seemed to be personally offended if you didn't join in with their games. All in all, we will not be returning to this hotel nor recommending it

Just come back from a 2 week stay here self catering, which I'm glad we were because talking to others the food was repetitive and not much variety. Hotel is well situated close to shops and bars within a short walking distance we walked lots and explored the area and found nice places to eat. Hotel is very basic we had a one bed appartment and very little room and not much crockery in it. We asked for extra pillows and a spatula and was told housekeeping would bring them they never arrived. Cleaning is awful, there daily cleaning is moping the floors and emptying bins but they dont know how to wipe over the bin as was still filfy. They only cleaned the balcony once I had complained about the cleaning, bathroom was never clean apart from floor in the 2 weeks we were there. They also dont know how to make beds until I complained about it as my sons bed was a flat sheet folded over some every night it came of as wasn't tucked under. All I ever got from the house keeper was she had mop floors and empty bins daily. We have been to other places self catering and this is the worse I have been to no care seemed to be the quicker she could get it done the better. There was a few times we were there eating breakfast as self catering and there was no I can come back later it was only 9.30 in the morning and we were on our holiday. I would not recommend this hotel to any one. I would go back to side again as its a lovely area but not the hotel. I did however have an amazing turkish bath here and my husband a turkish shave at the hotel. The pools in the main bit were very noisy and over crowded but we did find the quieter pool which was over the road which was part of sun city which was much nicer and could always find a sun bed.
