I cannot recommend this hotel enough. One of the few places that felt human. The service was so warm and friendly unlike many of the other places I've stayed in Zanzibar. So charming, peaceful and beautiful. It felt like staying at home.

The hotel feels like a home away from home. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Every meal I ate at the hotel was delicious. I also had a full body massage and felt rejuvenated afterwards. I will definitely be coming back any chance I get.

The Villa Fleur de Lys warmly welcomed us and our 20 friends for our wedding overseas. You will be stunned the first time you crossed the door and see the great view the villa offers you.
Furthermore, Zoe, Mona and Baraka were always available to help us plan our weeding day and trip. All the staff was so kind and professionnal.
Surely we will get back to the villa as this is the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy a peacefull stay.

Great staff. They are friendly and helpful. Food was good. Lives the weather.. Even the storm was exciting. Went to Makunduchi village. We saw lots of culture and we had local food too. We had a personal driver who was very safe. Will definitely be back

From the moment we entered, the staff was attentive and went above and beyond to make your stay memorable. It offers an intimate and tranquil experience. The boutique hotel combines traditional Zanzibari charm with modern amenities, making it a perfect getaway for relaxation. We truly enjoyed our week. Loved the lush garden, inviting pool, and stunning views overlooking the beach on a cliff, which has wooden steps with access to the beach. Will definitely be back.

A piece of paradise! The villa is located in a remote place, you can feel at home, very quiet for a relaxing holiday! There are activities, exercise machines, billiards, tennis, a children's playroom! I wish everyone a great holiday and my advice to you is to visit this villa! Special thanks to the staff, they have become like family to us!))

First and foremost, the staff is great. The property is amazing every room was beautiful. I'm a travel agent and I brung my group of 12 with me. They can be a tough bunch and they've been nothing but amazed with the property. So the only thing that we all agreed on was that the beds are very hard and uncomfortable. The food is ok, we would like to have cultural cuisine and not Americanized food. Also when you pay for full board it doesn't include soft drinks and water they're extra cost. . However overall it was good, I would recommend.

Management is great! Service is great! Staff is great! Kitchen is great! Garden is great! Location is great - a bit off the main road, so it's quiet and you kind of have your own beach. All 7 rooms have sea view with balcony or veranda, there are two small pools, a fire place, a outdoor bar and a fun area in the villa: pool billiard, table tennis, table soccer, dart and a few gym machines.
One huge down, hopefully just during our weekend: there was barely running water, you had to catch the right moment to have a shower. This has to be fixed before we would come again.

The place is sooo nice and cozy. We attended friend's wedding here last June and it was amazing. The place is nice and clean and the staffs were all smiling and greet you all time. If you want peace and silence, this is the place to stay. The sound of the waves that hitting the rocks was so relaxing. 🥰
