Realy LOVE this hotel. Super location, beautiful old building with great views from the rooftop restaurant. comfy big rooms, nice pool, and superfriendly en helpful staff. Would defenitely come back if I have the chance.

Stayed here while we spent an evening in Stonetown, lovely hotel with friendly staff. Rooms were clean and well-kept with the charm of a period Zanzibarian building.

Private pool with loungers that you can be served both food and drinks at, perfect place to relax amongst a lovely manicured garden.

Dinner and drinks on the rooftop terrace to see the sun set over the harbour water. Food was excellent with great seafood and continental dishes. Drinks were reasonable and solidly strong with lots of cocktails.

My wife has stayed here before and we would both stay here again! Thank you Seyyida!

Wonderful place in Stonetown, not soo noisy, super friendly staff, amazing view on rooftop, great beds and modern bathrooms. It's a fairly new hotel with a small pool which is quite private. I will be back!!

Great hotel when visiting Stone Town. Friendly staff. Good food and drink choice. Great location for walking down the harbour/ beach. Rooms are a bit dated and dark but welcoming after a hot day in the sun. Nice pool area again small but all you need. Not perfect but a good 4 star hotel....would stay again.

Amazing! Friendly staff. Delicious buffet breakfast. Lovely pool area. Close to the beach/night Market. Would definitely book again. I would however recommend the barmen learn how to make proper cocktails(not too great) Would also be nice if guests were able to buy ice from the hotel? Wifi signal is not very strong in the rooms but that was not major. PS: did not expect the 'government tax ' upon check out. 1 dollar a day per person. Still going to book again! Was a lovely experience.

Stayed here for 2 nights while exploring stone town. Very nice spacious room, and on the day we had a late flight they let us stay in another nice (but smaller) room downstairs all day. Great view right on the water from the rooftop bar. Central location. Was quite happy with our stay here.

Very very nice hotel. About 10minutes walk from the ferry terminal and close to a number of restaurants. The fact that the hotel is situated in the city of Stone Town gives visitors the full experience of living amongst the locals. The small alleys with stores and restaurants make it the ultimate African holiday experience.

+ This place was stellar. Fabulous location, lovely room with great amenities, and a cute little pool. Unfortunately the rooftop deck/restaurant was under renovations while we were there, which is a shame because I'm sure when it's finished, it will be a major highlight! The manager was also wonderful and very helpful with local information. Would definitely stay here again.
- It was a bit pricier than I would have liked, but I definitely wasn't disappointed in any aspect.

Had lunch at the rooftop restaurant, we were the only people there but the service was crazily slow, thankfully the food was good. They didn't have enough change when we paid in US dollars, so gave them a generous tip just to get out of there. The hotel itself looked really nice though and looks more than a 2 star which it is currently rated.
