French Quarter Inn

Stayed here in August 2024 and had an absolutely amazing experience. The customer service here is top notch and it flowed through every single staff member there. They did everything they could to make our stay great. The breakfast that is included is phenomenal - not your typical basic breakfast. There were 4 or 5 different options and all were really good. It's a boutique hotel, so smaller and more intimate. The rooms were great and very clean. Staff turned down the room twice daily and left fresh cans of water and some snacks for the kids. Lobby had water, lemonade coffee, tea, etc all day long and free cookies and brownies at night. Lastly, location is unbeatable. In the heart of the French Quarter near all the touristy stuff. Would 100% recommend and will 100% be coming back.

I really want to gate keep and not tell that this is my new favorite place to stay in Charleston when visiting but they really deserve the accolades. Our king balcony suite was perfect. We heard absolutely no outdoor noises so this building is incredibly well built and solid. The staff was accommodating, welcoming, and helpful- even texted to ask if they could help me with a driver etc since they knew we were in town for a wedding. There’s a milk and cookie bar of the evenings and you can order your breakfast to be delivered to your room and can have a charcuterie delivered as well which is just fantastic. The valet attendants were also exceptional and the housekeeping does a phenomenal job with cleaning and turn down services at night. Not even looking to book anywhere else when we come- just heading straight to French Quarter Inn, aside from all other mentioned things- walkability to the market and shopping etc is wonderful. Side note- if you get a balcony suite the lighting for makeup is great. edited to add: I really love that they use deep steep products!

We spent 4 nights last week celebrating a special event. We were very impressed with the French Quarter Inn and highly recommend it to other travelers. The service, ambience, room, food, location, etc. were all superb. We look forward to returning on a future visit to Charleston.

Exceptional Stay at the French Quarters Inn!

We had an incredible experience at the French Quarters Inn in Charleston. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was outstanding. The concierge and front desk staff were friendly, accommodating, and made everything seamless. I planned a surprise birthday weekend for my fiancé, and the staff went above and beyond to help coordinate every detail.

The inn is conveniently located just 20 minutes from the airport and is perfectly situated in the heart of Charleston. It’s central to all the local and high-end shops and dining options, most of which are within walking distance—making it incredibly easy to explore the city.

The room was prepared exactly as requested, and they provided fantastic recommendations for nearby entertainment and dining options. The accommodations were spotless, luxurious, and filled with thoughtful touches like complimentary linen spray and delicious chocolates that made our stay feel extra special.

Everything about the experience was top-tier, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Without a doubt, we’ll be returning for another visit!

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at this gem of a hotel! Nestled in a prime location, it's just steps away from a bustling market and a short, delightful stroll to incredible restaurants and shopping. The rooms are a true haven of comfort, ensuring a restful night's sleep even in the heart of the action.

The staff goes above and beyond with their friendly and attentive service. One highlight was the complimentary breakfast, which you place your order the night before and have delivered right to your door each morning – talk about a perfect start to the day!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! They thought of everything! The most comfortable pillows, breakfast in the room, fresh coffee and juices all day, cheese and crackers, wine and homemade cookies with ice-cold milk before bed! But the best thing is their employees; Carter Vincent, the kindest and most professional employee we have ever had the pleasure of meeting!! Thank you❤️

Location? EXCELLENT cleanliness? GREAT staff? PERFECT! I can't think of anything else to choose from as our entire stay was amazing from start to finish. Kim at the front desk was SO helpful in making our stay a success. The hotel is located within walking distance of the Pineapple Fountain and Rainbow Row - also some of the best restaurants in town! Charleston Market is steps away from shopping. Every employee is attentive and very friendly! The room was SO CLEAN you could eat off the floor if you wanted.... We needed to leave very early in the morning as we had a long drive home and they had everything prepared the night before so it was a quick transition to departure. This will be the ONLY place I stay when I return to Charleston!

Great hotel and staff in an equally great part of historic Charleston. This is by far one of the best hotels in the area - and the location is hard to beat - you're just a stone's throw from the historic market, shops, carriage trains and a number of high-end restaurants. The rooms were clean, valet service was fast, and the walls were thick, which is very convenient, especially in a busy part of town. The hotel and rooms had a quirky yet stylish decor. The beds and pillows were also very comfortable - I usually have a bad night's sleep in other hotels, but not in this one. I'll definitely be back!

Best hotel I've ever stayed at. Honestly they ruined me for what I expected from customer service. I wish this hotel staff worked in every hotel. Complimentary drinks and cheese when you walk in, a few foreign currency tips, and it makes for an exciting experience. Don't tip and you'll still get the best hotel entry you've ever had. Check-in is at the top of the stairs. I wish I could take the staff with me, all polite and real people, no fake politeness!

The location of this Inn is superb! RIGHT in the MIDDLE of everything! Easy walking distance to the water, near by restaurants. The market that is open year long is right around the corner. All in all, a very central location.
