This hotel is conveniently located close to two major intersections, yet it is tucked away & quiet. The outside appearance is much grander than you expect for a Courtyard. Beautiful lobby sitting area & pool. The room was spacious. Bathroom had walk-in tiled, glass-doored shower. Bed was a little firm for my preference, but comfortable enough. The sofa is an odd oval shape which makes it uncomfortable to sit in unless you take pillows from the bed to put behind you. Overall a decent experience.

Nice property, great location. The bartender was very pleasant and provided hospitality.
The room was clean and spacious. A little confusing getting around the hotel the first time. Nice pool and accompanying jacuzzi.
My mini fridge went on the blink at 2:30am. It was making a grinding noise that woke me. After repositioning the unit the noise came back. I unplugged the machine.
The next morning when reporting the failure, at the Front Desk, I was greeted by a lazy, unenthusiastic, lack of hospitality skills woman. She provided a limpwristed apology. I don’t believe or understand this to be the Marriott standard. Not a great example for the property or chain.
You need a better understanding of how to respond to clients issues and resolve them.

This was the hotel that we chose to have our room blocks at for our wedding in Mount Pleasant in April. It has a beautiful lobby and a fantastic gathering space in the Court Yard for large groups. The staff was also very courteous to us and our guests. The only reason that I'm deducting a few stars is because the AC was broken in the gym which made it unbearably hot while working out, and the rooms are a bit dated and musty. I also think that Marriott should consider including breakfast vouchers at the Courtyards. For the price that you pay for this hotel, I would expect working AC and a little more updated rooms. If these changes are implemented, it will get a 5 star review from me.

Me and my family stayed here a few days ago and at first the front desk was not so great at making us feeling welcomed. On another hand our housekeeper Ofelia (I believe that’s how we spell her name) was very professional and friendly. She went above and beyond with a warm hospitality. She definitely made a difference in our stay. Ofelia knew everything about the hotel. Because of her we plan on staying again during our future stay in Charleston. I do hope ofelia continues to be part of the housekeeping crew and can receive some kind of reward or promotion. Wonderful stay her and thanks again for the hospitality!

Very nice and beautiful hotel. Nice large rooms. Housekeeping came daily and cleaned the room. Pool and hot tub area was nice. No free continental breakfast. But you can order breakfast or dinner downstairs. Made to order was a very nice breakfast for a good price. Great location to get to downtown Charleston or myrtle Beach. Close to grocery store or restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful with things to do in area or directions. Will be back again when in the area again. Sorry forgot to take pictures before we went to bed.

This was our first trip to Charleston and the Courtyard Charleston was a great choice for lodging. The rooms were well appointed and spacious.
We met Livia T. In the hallway on our first day and she was a delight to talk to. She gave us suggestions on what to see and where to eat. She checked us out on our last day and enrolled us in your rewards program.
My sister will be visiting Charleston next month and I will encourage her to stay at your hotel.

Clean, convenient, and friendly staff. Pillows were too soft for my taste, but bed was comfortable. Pool was down when we were there, so that would be my biggest complaint. If they can get that fixed, we would gladly stay again.

I've stayed here many nights while working in town. The staff is exactly what you need after traveling. Excellent service and local knowledge.

The hotel is located in a clean and safe area near many places to shop and eat. There is a cafe on the first floor for breakfast and small but decent gym to keep physically active during your stay.

Visited for a company function, catered by the hotel. The food was decent and the staff super friendly. Very nicely decorated lobby and ballroom. Clean and comfortable.
