DoubleTree by Hilton North Charleston - Convention Center

The staff is professional and polite. We arrived at the airport, but the shuttle had a delay. So, after 3 calls, we got a taxi and requested a reimbursement from the staff. So that turned out well. The location is good. Uber is a little pricey, but that's not an issue caused by the hotel. Getting into downtown is easy.

The room is fine. You can grab groceries, clothes, etc. At the shopping area .6 miles away. You'll have a keurig, microwave, and mini fridge. There is a pool and work out room. I didn't use either. The sitting patio is pleasant until the Airforce comes by. They're loud.

My issues are simple: the cabinets and drawers are not aligned well. The drawers are rubbing, the cabinet is askew, and I was a little afraid to push them in so as not to cause damage. They'll need tightening. The toilet paper hanger was missing a cotter pin. We just moved the roll to the counter.
The big one: the lights. There's a light switch that only does the entrance area. You can't see well when you enter and you have to walk to the lamps to turn them on. It would have been nice to have one lamp turn on with the entry way switch.
