Worn out hotel - super unfrindlly receptionist.
Booked a room for 5 adults, as we were travelling with our adult children. However only 2 beds in the room, eventhough the roomdesription said 5 and i also wrote to them to make sure!
We arrived late at night, expected everything to be Ok, and just needed a place to sleep after a long journey. The receptionist said we could just find another hotel( booked 10 days in advance) we arrived at 10 in the evening, so not possible to find another hotel! Lousy room, lousy service overpriced. Do not recommend
Dallas Tx is an extremely difficult place to drive to. The traffic is rated as the worst in the USA by me. Because of the traffic you are forced to dine in the area. Dallas essentially shuts down on the weekends and one must eat at the hotel for every meal. All the usual stuff you expect at a Marriott hotel was top notch. But the food situation really would keep me from returning.
There are other hotels that include parking or have self parking which are better options than this hotel. I won't stay here again.
No complaints whatsoever. Room was clean and spacious. Air conditioner worked like a dream and i got wonderful rest.
The lobby ambience was perfect. The staff were efficient and thorough. The room was relaxing and clean. The bathroom was beautiful.
