The view of the beach on the 6 floor but the balcony was small and air conditioner was leaking water. Sir conditioner was loud when on.

What blew me away was the quality of service. Everyone was friendly and helpful all the time. We really enjoyed our stay. Beachfront view from a comfortable room, and great food in the restaurant plus lovely surroundings made it worthwhile. Only reason I couldn't give it five stars is the price, but we did go at the end of peak for only one night.

fantastic position, great views of the ocean including the tropical storm during our stay. Comfortable room, easy parking and a great on site restaurant. lots of local places to eat as well nearby. Not far from Charleston so a great base for both the beach and sightseeing.

We had an amazing time! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Getting the text messages to check on our stay was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing we would have liked was a microwave in the room. The pool was relaxing. The beachfront was beautiful. We seen several dolphins during our stay. Would recommend Tides to our friends.

The beds were so comfortable and they come with a fridge which is nice for storing beverages. Each floor has a water and ice refill station. The pool chairs are comfy. Mini vacation Lobby is beautiful and artwork is creative and funky. Rooftop bar was nice, bartender was great and food was good. The room well nice did have a musty smell to it and cleanliness was subpar.

Location, location, location. That’s really all that was noteworthy. We were not impressed with the overall cleanliness which was lacking especially in the bathroom. Expected more given the cost and will likely not return.

Pretty nice. As a local I just used it as a one day get away from daily life. If I was visiting I'd try and stay a little closer to downtown. This hotel is definitely not in walking distance to any of our beloved historic downtown Charleston.

We felt right at home. We booked a car to a lot of places and each time there was fresh water bottles for us inside. Also, every night they knocked to ask if we needed ice or more water. Nice, clean hotel in a good location. Was bummed that you couldn't actually go out on the balcony. That was the whole reason we had chosen this hotel so that we had a place to sit after our kids had gone to bed.

Good location. Bold colored decor, somewhat over the top. Nice spacious bathroom. But it sounded loud and weird the when the air conditioning kicks in. As a light sleeper I would definitely avoid it next time.

This hotel is one of the better more reasonably priced hotels we've stayed at in Charleston. It's 5 minutes away from downtown by car and about 35-40 minutes walking at a strolling pace.
