Royal Palms Resort & Spa

Pros: Full refrigerator in kitchen area. Comfortable king bed. Comfortable pull-out futon couch big enough for 2 people. Short walk to restaurants, coffee, bakery, ice cream. Friendly and accommodating staff.

Cons: Loud guests in pool area from 2am - 6am could be heard through bedroom windows.

Spacious and clean room. Very nice pool/bar area. Very affordable and close to the beach/A1A. Highly recommend!

Cute place one small block off of Fort Lauderdale Beach. Located in a quieter section of the beach but one can still walk to several bars and restauramts from here. The hotel also has a nice little bar and pool area. Room was clean and cool. Staff was friendly. Room is pretty basic and some of the pool chairs could use a refresh but I would stay here again as I see no reason to be in the room when the beach is just steps away.

This hotel was very cute and had lovely staff. It is in a great location and is very walkable. This was a great getaway spot and would recommend this hotel.

Very cute art deco hotel, but no elevators so I’m glad we were able to go up/down the stairs. Will definitely go back when returning to Fort Lauderdale.

For the price, this was the best deal I've booked in years. Do they have a concierge? No. Do they serve breakfast in bed? No. What they did provide was a clean and beautiful remodeled resort from the 60s with a perfect location not more than 200 yards from a spectacular beach. This spot is close enough to the party to walk but far enough away so you can't hear it. We walked and biked everywhere we wanted to go and never felt unsafe in this neighborhood. We had access to several pools and 3 of them were on site. We basically had an entire wing of the resort to ourselves with what amounted to a private pool, complete with iguanas. Will definitely go back.

I have been staying at these hotel properties for 5 years now. I have stayed at North Beach, Tranquilo and Royal Palm. We just stayed here the past weekend for a birthday and had 3 rooms and I'm a local so, it was a great STAYCATION!

We loved the pool and bar. Art the pool bartender did a great job for us! He took care of us and went over and beyound to make everything special. The food was excellent at the bar. The only thing we were missing was a TV to watch football and the fight later on at night so, it would be great if the hotel considers getting one since this will not be the last time I go there and would bring more locals through!!

It's always easy to check in and check out and the parking is a decent price. $10 which anywhere on the beach charges resort fee and parking daily.

Simple & clean room , pool is nice & handy bar in resort. Heads up, if your room is by the bar , it is quite loud if your trying to sleep.
