We attended an event here. The location adjacent to the Pacific Ocean is stunning. The luncheon was exceptional, definitely a cut above the usual hotel "rubber chicken" meal. The little dessert plate was delicious. The mandatory valet parking was only ten bucks - not bad for a hotel special event - and the valets were plentiful and efficient.

The hotel room was spacious, clean and fresh. We have kids and the extra touches made our trip so much more fun and easy-free beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, body boards and sand toys and bikes! It was my first time staying here, i got the last available in room Jacuzzi tub room, the balcony was huge, the tub was good size, the room came with a complimentary bottle of champagne and 2 bottles of water. A Suitable Stay! Front desk Staff were helpful (my sister-in-law forgot a toothbrush & was given one with a toothpaste). We requested/received the accommodation for an extended check-out at 1:00 P.M. for the next day after the Surf City Marathon, bed was comfortable, close to many restaurants and shopping centers.

I got in very late. Shaun the General Manager was Amazing!!! I was lost broke my phone I could go on and on about how I was not a good person to be around. Nice location, but very outdated. Front desk could be friendlier. Rooms very small. Floors in rooms are filthy. Walk barefoot and your feet will be all black. Don't think they have ever been mopped. Very nice motel right on the PCH. Each room is decorated differently to match the beach vibe. I stayed in #5. Surfer theme. Owners are the nicest people ever. Very friendly and considerate. Attention to detail for travelers has gone down. Their free breakfast in morning is not what it used to be. No movie channels in room, our fridge was frozen over on back side panels, we had to use the hairdryer to defrost it ourselves so it was cold again.

I had a small incident happen with my car and the staff was extreme accommodating and understaing. Everything was handled quickly and professionally. Really appreciate Krissy and Kim for great customer service. The rooms are big and very clean, and breakfast is great as well! Highly recommend

Hotel was nice. We got the "bay view" but it's not really much of a view. It's better than being above the street though. We have a larger vehicle that wouldn't fit in the parking garage but they made an accomodations for us and allowed us to park at the entrance of the garage where it would still be viewed by the security cameras. The A/C only worked on side. You know how the motel/hotel A/C units they use? Wellllll, there's 4 vents......only the 2 next to the door worked..... The shower pressure is amazing. There is a dedicated parking lot in the front. Coffee shop next door and other coffee shops in close proximity. Beds are somewhat comfortable and the pillows are small but fluffy. The woman in the front office is extremely nice and knowledgeable if the area.

I stayed on the top floor and had a little view of the ocean. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was very clean, had a refrigerator and coffee maker. I've stayed at Surf City Inn twice and have had an excellent experience both times. The location suits me, as I can walk a block to Sunset Beach, the harbor, grocery, or restaurants. The room has been clean each time and I've had enough of whatever I needed. This place works for me 👍🏻
