Rooms were so so. For this price point they should be better than that. Had to be moved after first room had insane noise from the mini bar and view wasn’t as paid for. Next room was better and comfy beds but nothing to write home about and Ritz down the road is a better room overall. Amazing location, we stayed in the king room with balcony + patio. Close to a lot of great food places, Ralph’s was down the street, friendly staff! Remodeling was not loud at all, one thing was we got charged for amenities the day we left even though we never used them. Love this quaint hotel and its location. The ameties for the price could be better. You pay for the balcony and the view so I would expect that the patio furniture be more than cheap plastic. The TV needs to be mounted on the wall so that the coffee and microwave look tidy and clean. Maybe coffee upgrade, i.e., Kurig or Pod type. Everyone who works here is beyond nice and accommodating.

Booked a room for about $150 a night over Thanksgiving. A beautiful Hotel overlooking Newport Beach in Amazing Grounds with individual private bungalow accommodation

We stayed her for over a week for our honeymoon and it was absolutely superb. The service, food, amenities, and everything in between was 5 star. We enjoyed the hotels location. It was great to be walking distance to Fashion Island. Our room had a nice view of the ocean and the private golf course. Although you can't walk to the beach it's very easy to drive there and enjoy the surf and the sand. The pool was crowded but felt homey with a family friendly environment. For the price paid the location was worth it. The room not so much. There was no mini fridge to keep a water bottle cold and they didn’t even have “do not disturb” door tags. They charge an additional $75 for hotel fees, but you have to either pay for valet parking or set an alarm to pay $8 every 2 hours from 8am-6pm for the lot near by.

Reading the reviews you’d be scared to stay here but my overnight was pleasant enough. The common areas are bright and clean and the reception staff was friendly on check in. I only stayed a night due to a flight cancellation but the room was large and clean although the bathroom was a bit outdated.

Our stay was awesome! We stayed for 2 nights. Free parking and free breakfast! Their price is very reasonable. Friendly staff and clean room. We were worried if it would be noisy, but we did not hear anything. It was comfortable, clean, and quiet.

The hotel is not bad and the price is cheap. Although it is a bit chaotic near the airport, the noise is not very loud at night. Stayed for one night, not much experience.

The overall feeling is good, it is convenient to drive anywhere

The room cleaning was messy, and the old towels were not taken away after the new ones were replaced.

When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that my reservation was cancelled. I was very confused! I almost found another hotel. After a 12-hour flight and an hour's drive, I was shocked to hear that my reservation was cancelled when I arrived at the hotel! Later, the hotel front desk said that they found my reservation, so I continued to stay.

The room was very big. There was a swimming pool and basketball court. The breakfast was different every day and it was fun to make your own waffles.

The rooms in this hotel are very large, more than 50 square meters, and are equipped with a simple kitchen with an induction cooker, pots, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, and a microwave. The bed in the room is a bit soft, and the breakfast is very good

Everything was perfect. Absolutely beautiful facility , excellent location and my room had a balcony and spectacular ocean views. It is a perfect destination vacation location.

Amazing resort property with plenty to do onsite for dining and entertaining with the family. Also located next to Huntington Beach to enjoy the ocean.

Amazing customer service and everyone is friendly. Walking distance from the beach. We felt like Cancun without the all inclusive amenities. They need a better job with parking, 55.00/night and it’s only valet. During busy days and or weddings at the hotel expect a 45-1hr for them to get your vehicle. 55/night it’s too much for people who are staying there.

The resort was full of amenities and the breakfast was 10 stars i loved it. Super clean amd well organized. THE ONLY THIING THEY DO NEED IS A BIGGER GYM AMD BETTER EQUIPMENT.

I loved my stay here!!! The only things I wasn’t as crazy about is that the size is really large to get from one side to the other (say if you want a coffee) and it’s not terribly soundproofed; I could hear a lot of shouting in the halls and the people making noise in the room above me. Still an absolutely wonderful stay, but worth keeping in mind depending on the purposes of your visit!

This was our first time at The Waterfront Beach Resort, and will be our new go to when in the area. We were treated so kindly by everyone we came into contact with. Upon check in, we were upgraded to a suite for my husbands bday. What a treat! Comfy beds, inviting area. We were here in Dec a few weeks before Christmas and it was so pretty! Fun events for the kids (didn’t travel with ours this time...

Stayed for 3 nights with my family. The hotel room and restaurant were very clean and comfortable. There is a pool where children can play, and the sea is right in front of you, so the location was great.

Attention to detail for travelers has gone down. Their free breakfast in morning is not what it used to be. No movie channels in room, our fridge was frozen over on back side panels, we had to use the hairdryer to defrost it ourselves so it was cold again.

I had a small incident happen with my car and the staff was extreme accommodating and understaing. Everything was handled quickly and professionally. Really appreciate Krissy and Kim for great customer service. The rooms are big and very clean, and breakfast is great as well! Highly recommend

Total value for your money. Basic hotel/motel but staff was EXCELLENT. I really need to applaud the front desk clerk, Chrissy. She was super helpful in booking my reservation and holding 2 extra rooms for our friends. And she for us all adjoining rooms. 5 star customer service! Room was basic, but very clean, beds comfortable, everything worked

The place was really nice, you get what you pay. The rooms are big enough, with fridge, and breakfast. The attention was good. Also there are improving the rooms. The only complain was that they didn't clean the room everyday.

Beds are clean and bug free. Nice and quiet. Good sized breakfast, but the coffee sucks. Friendly staff. Perfect for short budget stays.

We had a great check in and room was well stocked with most items. Hotel advertised store, but when we realized you forgot toothpaste, we quickly learned that this store only had snacks. Had to walk to the gas station across the street to be able to get some toothpaste for the day.

First room tv wasn't working, they charged me to a different room and was the same problem, the lady that was working those night was so kinda!!

I keep booking this hotel because of eva the hotel manager! I have never received such good customer service before that made me want to come back to a specific hotel. she is very friendly and welcoming! every time i come she’s always there and is such a hard worker. always comes with the same welcoming attitude everyday and greets you with a smile. she’s very accommodating and always helps me out...

The room spaces are very great for families. However the carpets in the room could have been cleaned better. Found a big cut toe nail on the floor and it just made the room feel dirty and gross although everything else seemed clean. I would say they shouldn’t skip on vacuuming the rooms. Because of that I give it 4 stars.

Some of the lamp fixtures are outdated. I don’t work as well. The parking is OK, but it can’t get full by the end of the night.

Free parking, still close to everything The front desk person at check in was excellent. We felt welcomed and he made everything easy. The room is big! Free parking is also super helpful.

We enjoyed the facility. The staff were friendly. Wished there was a microwave in the room and the doors were wide enough to accommodate a large wheelchair. And the chlorine was a little strong, but other than that we had a great time and enjoyed the facility.

The carpet in the room was not very clean, probably because it had not been cleaned for a long time. The bed was good and I slept soundly. The twin room is not the best. The room is quite big. Suitable for family outings. The hygiene is good and clean. The overall water park is for children to play, and some projects are not suitable for children. Overall, it is good.

I was only able to use one day because online it said it pool closed at 10pm and by 7:00pm we were no longer able to go in plus check in lines were long missed out on a day on my daughters actual birth day.

Noisy. There is a so-called manager named Vicky at the front desk, who is unprofessional, does not actively deal with guest issues, and excuses himself.

16JUN25 I booked the hotel. All staff was kind. We enjoyed the two days well. But, The deposit has not been refunded yet.

Great hotel and spacious rooms. The location was convenient and it’s perfect for families. I was traveling and this was much cheaper than staying in Palm Springs.

Great value for price, location. Services around are good enough for a business traveller.

Good location to get to the Disney Park. There is not much restaurant around but I can order online. The delivery person can send you the food in front of your door. Bottle Water is only free for hotel members.
