Rooms were so so. For this price point they should be better than that. Had to be moved after first room had insane noise from the mini bar and view wasn’t as paid for. Next room was better and comfy beds but nothing to write home about and Ritz down the road is a better room overall. Great location, nice pool area, beach access is easy, and very clean rooms/grounds. But I wouldn’t stay again.

Amazing location, we stayed in the king room with balcony + patio. Close to a lot of great food places, Ralph’s was down the street, friendly staff! Remodeling was not loud at all, one thing was we got charged for amenities the day we left even though we never used them. Love this quaint hotel and its location. The ameties for the price could be better. You pay for the balcony and the view so I would expect that the patio furniture be more than cheap plastic. The TV needs to be mounted on the wall so that the coffee and microwave look tidy and clean. Maybe coffee upgrade, i.e., Kurig or Pod type. Everyone who works here is beyond nice and accommodating.

Booked a room for about $150 a night over Thanksgiving. It said ocean view, but I was blown away when I entered the room and realized I had a complete balcony where I could sit outside and look right at the ocean. Clean. Quiet. Nice staff. Amazing prices. We loved our stay here. The rooms were nice and clean. My sister and I loved the bathrobes. The beach was in walking distance and the hotel provided buckets and umbrellas. What made this hotel was the amazing staff, they had great suggestions and even helped us find restaurants with amazing gluten free options. Very fine place for the price we paid. The staff was very helpful and there's a private parking for guest. The beach is very close by and the food street is about 30 min. walk (so an Uber is the most simple solution for that in case you don't want to drive)

We enjoyed the hotels location. It was great to be walking distance to Fashion Island. Our room had a nice view of the ocean and the private golf course. Although you can't walk to the beach it's very easy to drive there and enjoy the surf and the sand. The pool was crowded but felt homey with a family friendly environment. This was a pretty good place to stay. Room by the main pool very simple, no balcony. The noise from the pool’s water slide pump was right outside our door and it was so noisy all day. Don't equate Marriott in the United States with Marriott in China. They are not of the same level at all. This one is relatively new in Irvine. The indoor and outdoor areas are OK. This Residence Inn was ok. I would give it a 3.5 if half stars were available. On the plus side the staff was very nice, we were able to use the entire lobby, there was ample parking, and the rooms were clean. On the down side, the pool was freezing, there is nothing anywhere close or within walking distance for food options, and the only options for the bed type was one king.

Great stay and value Wonderful full breakfast was provided. Quaint building with multiple sitting areas to enjoy the view of the beach and waves. Nice hotel, from the outside looking in, it looks pretty extravagant. The lighting outside is also very nice and hotel has plenty of parking. It's also located next to a gas station for your convenience as well.

The location can't be beat. It's a 10 minute car ride to Disney. The rooms are great for families and easily accommodated myself, my husband, our toddler and our infant. Our room smelled of smoke, that's my only complaint.
