Hilton Palacio del Rio

Very good hotel. The staff was helpful and very polite. We requested a late check out due to our late flight and they were able to accommodate us right during check in. The restaurants are amazing and not too expensive. Staying here allows you to easily walk to all the main attractions and shops. The only thing I didn't like was where the elevator system was. The elevators are a bit confusing and it takes a bit of time to catch one, but I'll definitely be back.

Just visited SA this past weekend and couldn't wait to review our hotel! This place was great! Very clean, room was perfect and every staff member was very helpful! Couldn't imagine a better place to stay... very easy to get to, check-in and check-out was a breeze and the surroundings were an unforgettable experience! Definitely recommend this place and will definitely stay here again!

Great location on the river walk. Very clean and pretty hotel. Great service from everyone. Only two complaints. The shower head is weak and either sprays everywhere or shoots bullets straight at you. The roof top pool is no good for hanging out and bad for kids. It is 4ft deep right at the entrance and quickly goes down to 8ft. Our 7 year old is a decent swimmer but isn't going to be able to tread water all day. Also not particularly appealing as a hang out spot for adults either, no bar or anything like that.

We had a great experience at this Hilton location. We had a few questions before arriving and the staff was very responsive which I appreciated. They also allowed us to check in very early on the day we arrived which was fantastic as it was very hot and we’re not accustomed to the Texas summer; it was nice to have a place to relax mid-day. Israel, with the concierge staff, was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and reservations.

Our rooms were quiet given the city location. Both rooms were clean and comfortable.

We didn’t realize prior to booking that it’s valet parking only and $50 per day. Not ideal for us but the text from the staff the day before was sufficient notice so we were able to plan activities farther from the hotel for the first part of the day, before checking in. The valet staff was very efficient and drop-off and retrieval of our cars was quick.

Great place, right on the riverwalk. They are in the process of remodeling the elevators, but they keep things organized so there is not too much traffic up and down. The service is excellent! The front desk checked on us every day, very nice and polite. Be aware when booking, you can pick either parking included, or breakfast included. You can not do both. The smart choice would be to choose parking, that will add $20 per day instead of $50. Breakfast you can find all around, tasty and cheap. It is explained on the website, but I know the fine print is hard to read. Great stay, will be back soon.

Beautiful room, worth the upgrade to overlook the River Walk! Bummer that so much is extra...Waters in the took that you pay for rather than being supplied for guests, paying for WiFi access, but all in all very lovely, beautiful hotel that I would stay in again. Perfect for our Wedding Anniversary plans! Such a great location on the River Walk!
