In walking distance from restaurants, bars and shops, we're across the street from the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and boast 25 meeting rooms for events. Check out River's Edge Cafe and Patio Bar, Fiume Pizzeria and Wine Bar, and the famous Durty Nelly's Irish Pub. We also proudly serve Starbucks coffee in our lobby-level Coffee Cupboard.
Hotel opened in 1968, renovated in 2012.

Best hotel on the Riverwalk!
We always love staying here. It's conveniently located near all of the fun spots on the Riverwalk and downtown San Antonio. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. They even upgraded us to a riverview room because we always choose to stay there for Fiesta year after year.

The location is very good, but there is a road under construction in front of the hotel, which is very noisy. Fortunately, I can change the room. They helped me change to a room near the river, which is much better. I can walk along the river at night.

Very good hotel. The staff was helpful and very polite. We requested a late check out due to our late flight and they were able to accommodate us right during check in. The restaurants are amazing and not too expensive. Staying here allows you to easily walk to all the main attractions and shops. The only thing I didn't like was where the elevator system was. The elevators are a bit confusing and it takes a bit of time to catch one, but I'll definitely be back.

Just visited SA this past weekend and couldn't wait to review our hotel! This place was great! Very clean, room was perfect and every staff member was very helpful! Couldn't imagine a better place to stay... very easy to get to, check-in and check-out was a breeze and the surroundings were an unforgettable experience! Definitely recommend this place and will definitely stay here again!

Right off the river walk. Expect to hear noise at night from surrounding venues. Beautiful hotel.

Great location on the river walk. Very clean and pretty hotel. Great service from everyone. Only two complaints. The shower head is weak and either sprays everywhere or shoots bullets straight at you. The roof top pool is no good for hanging out and bad for kids. It is 4ft deep right at the entrance and quickly goes down to 8ft. Our 7 year old is a decent swimmer but isn't going to be able to tread water all day. Also not particularly appealing as a hang out spot for adults either, no bar or anything like that.

Beds are old and pull you to the center. There was mold on the faucet. The shower is small.
If you’re considering getting your clothes cleaned while you’re staying here, do not waste your time there. Equipment is terrible as well. Staff weren’t very understandable with my timing. Richard the office manager said if you were to wash and dry your clothes at home, you would’ve had the same results. I’m sorry, but I don’t wash and dry my clothes twice at home.

Stayed three days and two nights over the weekend here, overall it’s a nice hotel! Very clean and friendly staff. The best part about the hotel is the location it is right on the heart of the river walk with amazing views and easy access! Two things that made me give it three stars are : the valet parking was a struggle very long 30 mins plus ! And the elevators were kind of a nightmare very very long waits as well as with the amount of money spent to stay here there should be more perks for the customer! Will probably look else where when coming back
