If you like a view I recommend the king corner, if your lucky you get the room facing downtown. We came for a night alone for our anniversary. We had a great stay-cation.

We came to dinner at Ruth Chris and the restaurant mixed out parking tickets up with another party, Mateo and Justin explained everything and assisted while waiting for the correct car. They have the best customer Service and definitely deescalated the situation where we were not stressed at all. Definitely a great experience

Overall a very nice hotel and I would come back. Great bar, rooms are comfy, great location. My only complaint is the bar is always busy and there is no room service, the market also closes relatively early so if you get in late and want something to eat you are kind-of SOL. I would have expected them to have room service for such a large hotel.

Loved the river at the bottom of the hotel. Hotel has a decent selection of shops to choose from for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The breakfast shop is similar to a fusion of Starbucks. Came for a business meeting. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The edge of the carpet in my room was lifted & I tripped on it several times. It's an old hotel, renovated, but I think that was probably 15 years ago. The staff was great; very helpful. The breakfast buffet offers a great selection, including an omelet station. It is next to the river walk, but there isn't any "River activity" here. It's just following water. The restaurants, bars, stores are a few blocks away.

The lobby and club rooms are very nice. Club room had good wines and hot breakfast.The location is also great, just 3 minutes walk from the Riverwalk. The rooms are large but in need of an uplift. Furniture and paint look very old. One of the rooms I stayed in had a mild smell. I did not notice it after a while, but definitely did when I walk in.

We had a room overlooking the plaza and pool. It was great, no real complaints. They have a few peacocks outside that call and make you feel like you're in a jungle. The rooms are clean and nice, and you can walk to the alamo, a mall, and a bunch of random stuff you find as you walk. Returned here after an amazing stay over New Year's, yet this trip was horrible. The room was dingy, dark, rundown, and just awful. The shower drain was clogged for the first 2 days we were here even after 4 calls to the manger...pretty disgusting to shower in dirty water. The shower itself had mold all over in it. No apologies, either. The pool area was covered in filthy towels with no clean ones...

I've stayed at the Marriott Rivercenter, The Element and this Westin... And out of the 3 this hotel shines. I did miss the lounge at the Marriot River center, however, these view are STUNNING 👏🏼. This is a really great hidden gem in a sea of hotels on the riverwalk. The rooftop pool is amazing! Our kids enjoyed swimming and we enjoyed a full bar and resort style loungers complete with cool towels and umbrellas. Asia at the pool was so nice and she made some tasty craft cocktails! It was located downtown, where it felt truly alive. There is a lot of buzz. Great atmosphere and the staff very nice, friendly and super helpful. Love visiting San Antonio because it's full of history and, of course. Mokara Hotel does not disappoint. With its own great history, location, and beauty, it made my stay all the worthwhile.

Couldn't have dreamed of a finer hotel...the spa is phenomenal, the food/restaurant is superb. All in all a wonderful Riverwalk experience. Will I definitely be back?

Gorgeous location, stunning building, and the BEST service. My wife and I spent our wedding night there and the room had an issue or two but only things that are totally explainable with the buildings age. First time visiting San Antonio and such a nice and quiet spot but still surrounded by so much in the area! Our room was so nice and cozy.
