Great relaxing retreat. Water park was lovely with lazy river. Great variety of on property restaurants. Nice walkable trails. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces were perfect for warming up in March when the morning/evening air can be brisk. Note to Marriott rewards members - there is no concierge lounge at this property.

I love love love this hotel!! It's views are truly amazing. They have so much to do here it's incredible. Come with family or friends and you will have a blast. It is pretty expensive, but it's kind of expected at such a high class resort like this. I'm definitely going to come back here soon!

Had a wonderful stay. Accommodations were great, amenities were amazing. Pricing in spa and restaurants was a bit high as expected, but great quality. Room service food quality was so so, definitely bring snacks for night time. Huge place, and some hills bring flats and sandals. Water park is great, great staff and clean lovely rooms. The hotel itself is very clean, modern and very comfortable. The front desk staff is AMAZING! The location is great, the mall and the Riverwalk are basically part of it. I'll definitely be back!!! People have said that the elevators are confusing, but we found it very easy and it was honestly nice not having all the buttons and old fashioned type elevators.

Overall a very nice hotel and I would come back. Great bar, rooms are comfy, great location. My only complaint is the bar is always busy and there is no room service, the market also closes relatively early so if you get in late and want something to eat you are kind-of SOL. I would have expected them to have room service for such a large hotel.

Excellent hotel! The staff is very nice and welcoming. Holly checked us in and she was very helpful! I didn't catch the name of the lady who checked us in, but she was very nice too. Our room was great and everything was very clean. We also had a great view of the river walk. I would stay here again if I ever return to the area.

Loved the river at the bottom of the hotel. Hotel has a decent selection of shops to choose from for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The breakfast shop is similar to a fusion of Starbucks. The lunch/dinner restaurant at the river walk level has a lot of seafood options. Rooms are very nice; huge TV; spacious bathroom. The beds are slightly firm for myself, but that's the only downside I could find.

This is such a nice hotel which offers so many amenities. Its right off the river walk and beautiful. However, they give you extreme low pressure shower heads making it really hard to take a shower. I stayed 5 days solo. It was wonderful and they took good care of me. Everyone was pleasant. They have very good vegetarian food too.I didn't rent a car and was able to walk everywhere. Perfect location at the Riverwalk. They have a light under your bed when you get up. I loved that.

The staff was incredible. They greet you with a smile every time you arrive and want to make sure your stay is perfect. You have a great view no matter where you are, including the drive up to the resort. The golf course is beautiful too!

Came for a business meeting. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The edge of the carpet in my room was lifted & I tripped on it several times. I put in a request to have it taped down and it was taken care of immediately. The pools were super fun! Food was good. Lots of usb and other connections in the room. Very quiet.

We had a room overlooking the plaza and pool. It was great, no real complaints. They have a few peacocks outside that call and make you feel like you're in a jungle. The rooms are clean and nice, and you can walk to the alamo, a mall, and a bunch of random stuff you find as you walk. The only complaint I've heard is that it's a bit loud if you have a room facing the road.

The food at the hotel is relatively good. It’s just that there aren’t many choices of tea bags. For some reason, the tea bags I drank on the first day no longer appear, leaving only one choice. The location should be good for local tourists. There is parking for cars and easy access. Neat and clean, and bright.

The bistro was only open on the morning. The bar never opened, but they had a few drink choices in the small market. The rooms were clean. The valet can get backed up at check in. Returned here after an amazing stay over New Year's, yet this trip was horrible. The room was dingy, dark, rundown, and just awful. The shower drain was clogged for the first 2 days we were here even after 4 calls to the manger...pretty disgusting to shower in dirty water. The shower itself had mold all over in it. No apologies, either. The pool area was covered in filthy towels with no clean ones...

Wish we had more time to stay and enjoy all of the amenities. Hotel was beautiful, parking was a little steep at $65/day for a hotel that you are paying to stay at. I feel like they shouldn’t be charging that crazy amount. They also charge 22% for room service fees which is insane! Other than that the hotel was right on the riverwalk and beautiful.

Be aware when spending the extra money for a room with a balcony, I expected more. The balcony was very small and had only 1 chair. It also doesn't guaranty you'll have a good view. We stayed at the WestInn during Fiesta. The hotel has easy access to the Riverwalk, very clean, friendly staff, valet was prompt. We enjoyed the pool one afternoon with our 4 year old daughter and we loved it. It’s in the quiete part of the Ribwrwalk but about an 8 minute walk to the busier section.
