The room was clean and fairly updated. Bed comfortable. Shower was a problem. Shower head was very high and had very little give to adjust it. Couldn’t stand away from spray because it was too short. The hairdryer was very poor. Took almost 30 min to dry short hair. Not sure why they could not invest in an Ion dryer as the price to stay here was pretty pricy. Overall a very nice hotel and I would come back. Great bar, rooms are comfy, great location. My only complaint is the bar is always busy and there is no room service, the market also closes relatively early so if you get in late and want something to eat you are kind-of SOL. Loved the river at the bottom of the hotel. Hotel has a decent selection of shops to choose from for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The breakfast shop is similar to a fusion of Starbucks. I stayed 5 days solo. It was wonderful and they took good care of me. Everyone was pleasant. They have very good vegetarian food too.I didn't rent a car and was able to walk everywhere. Perfect location at the Riverwalk. They have a light under your bed when you get up. I loved that.

There aren't many rooms out here, so it seems as though everyone is familiar with one another, rather close knit. The rooms are very spacious well lit. However.... pets are not allowed, and that is a deal breaker for me. They should make exceptions; especially for service dogs or those willing to pay a pet deposit(dependent on the size of the dog).
