If you like a view I recommend the king corner, if your lucky you get the room facing downtown. We came for a night alone for our anniversary. We had a great stay-cation.

We came to dinner at Ruth Chris and the restaurant mixed out parking tickets up with another party, Mateo and Justin explained everything and assisted while waiting for the correct car. They have the best customer Service and definitely deescalated the situation where we were not stressed at all. Definitely a great experience

Get hotel has a very professional feel to it. The interior and exterior of the building are modern and beautiful. In the lobby, there is a little cafe/breakfast area to buy lunch along with a bar equipped with alcohol. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions we had.

Overall a very nice hotel and I would come back. Great bar, rooms are comfy, great location. My only complaint is the bar is always busy and there is no room service, the market also closes relatively early so if you get in late and want something to eat you are kind-of SOL. I would have expected them to have room service for such a large hotel.

Loved the river at the bottom of the hotel. Hotel has a decent selection of shops to choose from for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The breakfast shop is similar to a fusion of Starbucks. The lunch/dinner restaurant at the river walk level has a lot of seafood options. Rooms are very nice; huge TV; spacious bathroom. Came for a business meeting. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The edge of the carpet in my room was lifted & I tripped on it several times. It's an old hotel, renovated, but I think that was probably 15 years ago. The staff was great; very helpful. The breakfast buffet offers a great selection, including an omelet station. It is next to the river walk, but there isn't any "River activity" here. It's just following water. The restaurants, bars, stores are a few blocks away.

We had a room overlooking the plaza and pool. It was great, no real complaints. They have a few peacocks outside that call and make you feel like you're in a jungle. The rooms are clean and nice, and you can walk to the alamo, a mall, and a bunch of random stuff you find as you walk. We had a great stay here - we wanted something close to Sea World and hill country and this was perfect. We got a suite so our toddler could sleep on the fold-out couch. Hotel staff went above and beyond! I informed the front desk that we were celebrating our sons birthday. I mentioned to them that he specifically asked for this hotel so he could see the horse carriages. They accommodated us with the perfect view. Plus, as soon as we checked in our room surprised us with a gift and balloons for our son. Seeing the smile on his face was priceless.

The bistro was only open on the morning. The bar never opened, but they had a few drink choices in the small market. The rooms were clean. The valet can get backed up at check in. The valet employees were friendly and worked very hard to get everyone their cars. Housekeeping was friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit further from things from other places. Great Hotel! Embassy Suites never seems to fail! Being able to mobile check in and have all the items I requested ready in my room to go, is amazing!
