The room was clean and fairly updated. Bed comfortable. Shower was a problem. Shower head was very high and had very little give to adjust it. Couldn’t stand away from spray because it was too short. The hairdryer was very poor. Took almost 30 min to dry short hair. Not sure why they could not invest in an Ion dryer as the price to stay here was pretty pricy. Toilet was stained and didn’t flush well...
I have stayed here a few times in between shifts while working at the hospital across the street. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are nice. There is no microwave in the room which I found to be unfortunate. The pools are smaller than you'd expect for a large property. Pool bar was never open any time I was there. The gym is well equipped for a hotel gym and I have been able to get good workouts in...
Lovely pools and terrace. Communal areas spacious and clean. Large room with comfortable beds.
We had a great stay here - we wanted something close to Sea World and hill country and this was perfect. We got a suite so our toddler could sleep on the fold-out couch. There was a rain shower and jetted tub that were really nice, and the beds were soft and comfy. We liked the balcony but it doesn’t look like many people use it because our first night there was a glass left by a previous hotel guest...
The customer service here was great. Very professional. The pools and hot tub were nice. Rooms were comfortable. I did not hear a peep from anyone, the walls are sound proof!
Very nice clean. Staff wonderful! Stayed hospitality floor. It is closed on the weekend but you eat free in restaurant. THE place to stay for Sea World- They have a free shuttle to take you! Would definitely stay there again!

Gorgeous location, stunning building, and the BEST service. My wife and I spent our wedding night there and the room had an issue or two but only things that are totally explainable with the buildings age. Overall: our stay was beautiful, charming, and felt like a step back in time to a more sophisticated, artistic time
This amazing gem is tucked away in downtown San Antonio. The front entrance just exudes decadence. The dining experience was by far a foodies dream, the cocktails in the Havana bar were amazing. The old fashioned was by far the best I’ve had around town. To cap off the evening was the Burlesque show by The Dollhaus, they simply brought that proper burlesque show experience and showgirl class. I most...
We are beyond impressed with the overall experience. The location is great. The hotel is an oasis of little patios tucked around every corner. The age and beauty of the entire building was not lost on us. I will add, the service and professionalism mixed with chill vibe of the staff is what sold me. Justin at the front desk is a gem!! Jackie also sealed the whole deal with her top notch customer service...
What an absolutely amazing experience! I dined in at Ocho and from the second I was greeted to my farewell after dinner was so special! The entire restaurant staff was personable, knowledgeable, and hospitable. Following dinner, I visited Havana Bar downstairs for a Tequila event. Drinks were spectacular, the staff was attentive, and the show was so entertaining! The event curator, Peach Gallagher...
First time visiting San Antonio and such a nice and quiet spot but still surrounded by so much in the area! Our room was so nice and cozy. The AC in the hotel was such a life saver from the Texas heat. The basement bar was such a big surprise and wished I spent more time. Looked like a spooky vampire lounging area. Big shout out to Rudy for taking care of us during our whole stay! Anything I needed...

Trip for my son's graduation from the Air Force. I loved the hotel and everything was very clean. I recommend it. It is close to the base at 12 minutes.

Location is great there is a great barbecue restaurant next to the hotel, and rooms are big and nice.
Nice hotel. Breakfast was decent. Front desk staff was great! Pool was great, pool area needs more shade (2 umbrellas in the whole area and both broken) no shade spots. Good location!
The room was great. It was clean and in really good repair. The hide a bed was even good! Breakfast was good too. It was really crowded, but the staff members were solicitous, getting extra chairs for our group. The food was about what you would expect for a hotel breakfast. But the employees kept the food stocked and the room clean.
Large, clean rooms. Family of five stayed for 5 days in a two double bed room with no problem. Amazing staff! Superior customer service. 20 min. From SeaWorld, 20 min from downtown. Excellent location for us.
This place is amazing. My family and I have stayed for a couple of weeks while looking for a house and the staff where very friendly. Jennifer is the manager we dealt with a lot her attitude was always polite and positive. Marcus, Benni, Manny and the rest of the front desk staff were always super helpful to me and my family and looked out for us and made sure our stay was pleasant. We are thankful...
This hotel was amazing! We arrived late and went downstairs for a little snack. Aaron helped us out and was awesome. He prepared some pesto dipping sauce, sliders, and a variety of other things. It was delicious. Hotel was super clean and comfortable. Breakfast area is a bit small an hard to get through when crowded but the items offered were great!

Well maintained, friendly staff. Yes a little outdated but great location. The pool was nice, being so close to the market was awesome. Breakfast was plain but overall a place we would stay at again.
Its a la quinta hotel. Not very inspirational. It just gets the job done. It is in downtown. Expect some odd people in it. The daily rate is good if you come midweek. It is within walking distances of many tourists attractions. Try mi tiera right across the street.
Loved it. Went the day after fan fair for my bday on the 20th and the room was awesome. The front desk lady was very helpful and nice . will def reserve for next years to come :)
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! Highly recommend it! Room was clean, beds were so comfy & breakfast was great as well! Service was awesome! Movie theatre within walking distance & it’s so close to the mall. We will definitely stay here next time we’re in town!

Staff was great! The pool/water park area is awesome! We had a great Summer finale before school started.
Great relaxing retreat. Water park was lovely with lazy river. Great variety of on property restaurants. Nice walkable trails. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces were perfect for warming up in March when the morning/evening air can be brisk. Note to Marriott rewards members - there is no concierge lounge at this property.
I love love love this hotel!! It's views are truly amazing. They have so much to do here it's incredible. Come with family or friends and you will have a blast. It is pretty expensive, but it's kind of expected at such a high class resort like this. I'm definitely going to come back here soon!
I can't say enough good things about this place. From the second you drive up the hill and get a glimpse of this magnificent building, you know you are in a special place. The person that checked us in joked around with my kids and they really liked that. The pool facilities...
Had a wonderful stay. Accommodations were great, amenities were amazing. Pricing in spa and restaurants was a bit high as expected, but great quality. Room service food quality was so so, definitely bring snacks for night time. Huge place, and some hills bring flats and sandals. Water park is great, great staff and clean lovely rooms. Will return, happy customer.

If you like a view I recommend the king corner, if your lucky you get the room facing downtown. We came for a night alone for our anniversary. We had a great stay-cation.
We came to dinner at Ruth Chris and the restaurant mixed out parking tickets up with another party, Mateo and Justin explained everything and assisted while waiting for the correct car. They have the best customer Service and definitely deescalated the situation where we were not stressed at all. Definitely a great experience
Amazing staff. Beautiful property, especially at night. It's just a little too family-friendly. If you want to take a relaxing vacation/stay-cation or a date night, this is not it. Which is a damn shame because there aren't many modern hotels in downtown San Antonio that are this nice. I wish they'd consider setting adult only hours at the pool and the outdoor rooftop patio. We were here for a nice...
I’ve been enjoying my stay at this hotel. I’m in town for my first work conference and valeted my truck because I had all of our team’s booth materials in it. Every time I have to grab something from my truck for our booth, Dani is right there already unlocking...
I absolutely enjoyed my stay. The staff was exceptionally fantastic. I was having an episode at the same time I was trying to get into my room. Unfortunately the key did not work. What a nice and clean hotel. Everyone was very friendly. Bar and restaurant were great. Very convenient location. Within walking distance from the Alamo and riverwalk. Parking garage was a tight fit but Can’t wait to go back.
The hotel itself is very clean, modern and very comfortable. The front desk staff is AMAZING! The location is great, the mall and the Riverwalk are basically part of it. I'll definitely be back!!! People have said that the elevators are confusing, but we found it very easy and it was honestly nice not having all the buttons and old fashioned type elevators.

Overall a very nice hotel and I would come back. Great bar, rooms are comfy, great location. My only complaint is the bar is always busy and there is no room service, the market also closes relatively early so if you get in late and want something to eat you are kind-of SOL. I would have expected them to have room service for such a large hotel.
Excellent hotel! The staff is very nice and welcoming. Holly checked us in and she was very helpful! I didn't catch the name of the lady who checked us in, but she was very nice too. Our room was great and everything was very clean. We also had a great view of the river walk. I would stay here again if I ever return to the area.

Wow! Can't wait to go back again! Booked this resort for a fantastic price at ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ I love this resort and am so grateful to have stayed at my favorite hotel for so much less than I would normally spend. Great hotel! Loved the river at the bottom of the hotel. Hotel has a decent selection of shops to choose from for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The breakfast shop is similar to a fusion of Starbucks. The lunch/dinner restaurant at the river walk level has a lot of seafood options. Rooms are very nice; huge TV; spacious bathroom. The beds are slightly firm for myself, but that's the only downside I could find.
Love this beautiful hotel! We were fortunate enough to experience the concierge level where the staff was very cordial and attentive. Ms. Pinky, who was in charge upstairs really knows how to make you feel welcomed. The rooftop pool is nice but can get a bit crowded. I suggest they add shading by furnishing the out door area around the pool with strategically placed umbrellas as the Texas sun can be...
This is such a nice hotel which offers so many amenities. Its right off the river walk and beautiful. However, they give you extreme low pressure shower heads making it really hard to take a shower. To look at its amazing, but if you want room comfort with the issues not sure its...

There aren't many rooms out here, so it seems as though everyone is familiar with one another, rather close knit. The rooms are very spacious well lit. However.... pets are not allowed, and that is a deal breaker for me. They should make exceptions; especially for service dogs or those willing to pay a pet deposit(dependent on the size of the dog).
For this location to be in a little rough area I really enjoyed my stay. It was very clean. You can smell the cleanings in the air. Check in and out was quick. I will stay again.
Look my wife said she thought it was like "no country for old men" type of hotel lol, honestly it wasn't bad at all to me. I'm not familiar with area in San Antonio it look like the hood at first but we survived the night just fine, rooms are very clean maybe outdated but very clean 👌for 75 bucks can't beat that. Oh and there's an HEB down the street by the way no roaches or any bugs like I said clean
I was booked this place by the travel dept of my company. It was spring break so literally all other hotels and motels were booked. When i pulled it up on Google I was mortified. The staff was incredible. They greet you with a smile every time you arrive and want to make sure your stay is perfect. You have a great view no matter where you are, including the drive up to the resort. The golf course is beautiful too!
Very nice place, loved the ambiance and the views. Service from the staff was good to very good, with a glitch or two along the way, but it's hard to be perfect. The pool area was wonderful for the kids and there were numerous areas for our large group to hang out and be together. My...
La Cantera Resort is one of the most enjoyable places you will ever visit. The staff went out of their way to take care of us, and there are so many fun things to do there! Hotel rooms renovated recently which is good. Facilities and sevice are good.
The hotel was nice and visually appealing the rooms were nice but there were a bunch of little inconveniences that really threw off the experience. For example they didn't have parking for my truck I had to park off the hotel that was just a hassle for having to walk to and from the hotel to get to my truck. 2nd the store in the hotel closes really early so you can't get drinks or food whenever you...
Great location above the Riverwalk, convenient to the sights and not noisy. Comfy spacious room, very clean. Pool just okay, good in the heat but outside deck is worn. Very nice restaurant, Tributary, off lobby. Nice staff and easy parking.
Indoor pool and gym were nice. The bathroom door was transparent and emit too much light in the room, the other person couldn't sleep. The balcony had a nice view. The Cafe serves Starbucks drinks which was nice. The microwave was in parking 1 next to laundry room- they should move microwave close to Cafe. Also laundry room has no detergent or dryer sheet. Overall had a good time.

It was a great weekend stay and we felt we were on a land cruise ship. Loved every minute of our stay. Thank you Janie and staff for an awesome experience. We'll be back!
Our stay at this hotel was fantastic, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The only small suggestions I have are for the hotel’s dining options. For the price, the restaurant menus could use an update – the food was just okay, and the options were limited. The tables also felt a bit outdated and could benefit from a refresh. Additionally, given...

I highly recommend this resort. Such a fun and secured place. Felt like a second home. We did have some slight issues at first but Heaven at the front desk helped us out in such a professional manner, she was very sweet. Also the food and atmosphere is phenomenal

Service was phenomenal, staff was professional and friendly.
Stayed three days and two nights over the weekend here, overall it’s a nice hotel! Very clean and friendly staff. The best part about the hotel is the location it is right on the heart of the river walk with amazing views and easy access! Two things that made me give it three stars are : the valet parking was a struggle very long 30 mins plus ! And the elevators were kind of a nightmare very very long...
Great location on the river walk. Very clean and pretty hotel. Great service from everyone. Only two complaints. The shower head is weak and either sprays everywhere or shoots bullets straight at you. The roof top pool is no good for hanging out and bad for kids. We had a great experience at this Hilton location. We had a few questions before arriving and the staff was very responsive which I appreciated. Great place, right on the riverwalk. They are in the process of remodeling the elevators, but they keep things organized so there is not too much traffic up and down. The service is excellent! Fantastic Hotel, with friendly and informative staff. The drinks in the library was a great touch.
I will be honest, I have never stayed the night in the hotel, but absolutely love the bar (Sternwirth) and mini grocery store (Larder). They are great places to take out of town guests and always on the date night option list. The decor and architecture are wonderful.
I love the atmosphere of this amazing historic location. Being a former brewery, the Hines of the factory are in display as they merge the structure of the past with the practical decor of the present in a modern industrial design. The spaces feel open and spacious yet the soft furnishings and warm touches make it a great place to visit. The coffee shop, food store in the Larder is a must visit as...
Stunning interior, and an impressive cocktail offering. My wife and I were visiting San Antonio for three days, staying elsewhere unfortunately, and visited the Pearl District, where Hotel Emma is located, all three days. Did not stay here. Just stopped by to see the building. Great place to visit. Fun to see wedding guests arrive and a definite Black Tie apparel. A drinking room / Library. Fireplace with Cubbies to sit and read a book. Antique pieces in the lobby. Folks gathering in the lobby just for conversation. Parking was a block away, free parking.
We walked around the outside of Hotel Emma and snapped pics of so much beauty and activity that adds to its unique location on the River Walk and adjacent to Pearl Brewery complex. Watched guests being served breakfast or brunch on the outside cafe. Noticed a new bridge that now allows guests and public to cross over River to another parking area and to gain access to more walking areas. Close by are...

Cute hotel, right on the river/great location. Comfortable rooms and beds, but could use a bit of refreshing. Nice staff. There’s a self-parking lot across the street for $10 (hotel valet is $38), which is awesome! We would have given it four stars had the cleaning staff not left a dirty wash cloth hanging on the shower head from a previous guest. Gross.
Amazing staff room wasn't ready and we got a free drink at the bar. Good start. Then I was looking for an ice machine and a housekeeper not only told me when the ice machine was, but took the time to get the ice for me! Really impressed. Enjoyed the staff. I see people mention the please is dated, but honestly that is part of the appeal, it has a unique historic character to it. ?
Rooms clean and quaint but dated. ALL personnel were wonderful...polite, courteous, personal, beyond our expectations in accomodating our every need. Valet services were the absolute best..Mickey, Ric, and Dan..Thank YOU! I only wish I had gotten the names of everyone with whom we (5 retired 71+ y.o. R.N's.) had contact. KUDOS TO ALL THE STAFF.
