San Antonio, 136 East Grayson 🧭 Map
Fantastic Hotel, with friendly and informative staff. The drinks in the library was a great touch.
I will be honest, I have never stayed the night in the hotel, but absolutely love the bar (Sternwirth) and mini grocery store (Larder). They are great places to take out of town guests and always on the date night option list. The decor and architecture are wonderful.
I love the atmosphere of this amazing historic location. Being a former brewery, the Hines of the factory are in display as they merge the structure of the past with the practical decor of the present in a modern industrial design. The spaces feel open and spacious yet the soft furnishings and warm touches make it a great place to visit. The coffee shop, food store in the Larder is a must visit as...
Stunning interior, and an impressive cocktail offering. My wife and I were visiting San Antonio for three days, staying elsewhere unfortunately, and visited the Pearl District, where Hotel Emma is located, all three days. That should tell you a little about how well the Emma is located. The atmosphere is especially lively on the weekends during the farmers market. Offerings range from beer, coffee...
Did not stay here. Just stopped by to see the building. Great place to visit. Fun to see wedding guests arrive and a definite Black Tie apparel. A drinking room / Library. Fireplace with Cubbies to sit and read a book. Antique pieces in the lobby. Folks gathering in the lobby just for conversation. Parking was a block away, free parking.
We walked around the outside of Hotel Emma and snapped pics of so much beauty and activity that adds to its unique location on the River Walk and adjacent to Pearl Brewery complex. Watched guests being served breakfast or brunch on the outside cafe. Noticed a new bridge that now allows guests and public to cross over River to another parking area and to gain access to more walking areas. Close by are...

Golf was great Nice running path in area Food good
Staff was great! The pool/water park area is awesome! We had a great Summer finale before school started.
Great relaxing retreat. Water park was lovely with lazy river. Great variety of on property restaurants. Nice walkable trails. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces were perfect for warming up in March when the morning/evening air can be brisk. Note to Marriott rewards members - there is no concierge lounge at this property.
I love love love this hotel!! It's views are truly amazing. They have so much to do here it's incredible. Come with family or friends and you will have a blast. It is pretty expensive, but it's kind of expected at such a high class resort like this. I'm definitely going to come back here soon!
I can't say enough good things about this place. From the second you drive up the hill and get a glimpse of this magnificent building, you know you are in a special place. There is absolutely nothing that went wrong during the stay. You are greeted at the door by someone can answer questions for you. The person that checked us in joked around with my kids and they really liked that. The pool facilities...
Had a wonderful stay. Accommodations were great, amenities were amazing. Pricing in spa and restaurants was a bit high as expected, but great quality. Room service food quality was so so, definitely bring snacks for night time. Huge place, and some hills bring flats and sandals. Water park is great, great staff and clean lovely rooms. Will return, happy customer.

Most everything went well, great location, pretty clean, real comfortable
Get hotel has a very professional feel to it. The interior and exterior of the building are modern and beautiful. In the lobby, there is a little cafe/breakfast area to buy lunch along with a bar equipped with alcohol. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions we had.
Rooms are modern, clean, and appear to be well maintained. Location is great, downtown, next to the Riverwalk and convention center. Service is also very good. We did have an issue with the TV, a drawer falling out, and the phone, but they were quickly resolved. A little more proactive attention might avoid these issues, though. The fitness center has a lot of equipment and a wide variety of machines...
Fantastic hotel, as expected. The room is clean, the staff is friendly, the lobby is nice -- but what the heck is up with the breakfast situation here? Before 7 your only breakfast option is a small storefront with barely any options and there's nowhere official to eat, either. People are just spread out across the lobby eating random things because there isn't a restaurant to eat in. And the line...
Great amenities and service is great! Not sure if it's the environment or hvac, but my one issue is that it is incredibly dry. The pool is great you can swim laps. It's in the heart of you're and directly connected to the river walk. Otherwise great place to stay.
Great hotel! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Our room was really nice and housekeeping did an amazing job of keeping it clean and restocking everything while not disturbing our belongings. The bar downstairs is nice, although a little pricey. The hotel is also within walking distance of just about everything! Will definitely stay again next time I'm in San Antonio

What a nice and clean hotel. Everyone was very friendly. Bar and restaurant were great. Very convenient location. Within walking distance from the Alamo and riverwalk. Parking garage was a tight fit but Can’t wait to go back.
The hotel itself is very clean, modern and very comfortable. The front desk staff is AMAZING! The location is great, the mall and the Riverwalk are basically part of it. I'll definitely be back!!! People have said that the elevators are confusing, but we found it very easy and it was honestly nice not having all the buttons and old fashioned type elevators.

Overall a very nice hotel and I would come back. Great bar, rooms are comfy, great location. My only complaint is the bar is always busy and there is no room service, the market also closes relatively early so if you get in late and want something to eat you are kind-of SOL. I would have expected them to have room service for such a large hotel.
Excellent hotel! The staff is very nice and welcoming. Holly checked us in and she was very helpful! I didn't catch the name of the lady who checked us in, but she was very nice too. Our room was great and everything was very clean. We also had a great view of the river walk. I would stay here again if I ever return to the area.

Awesome Vacation used our car only once to go to a military base. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Had a great time. Tony Trevino is very friendly and helpful. Thank you. Also the valet is great at getting these cars in and out. We enjoyed your stay. ❤
Wow! Can't wait to go back again! Booked this resort for a fantastic price at ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ I love this resort and am so grateful to have stayed at my favorite hotel for so much less than I would normally spend. Great hotel! Everything about this hotel was perfect from start to finish. The staff are friendly, the hotel is beautiful and in a great location, the rooms are very clean, quiet, well...
Loved the river at the bottom of the hotel. Hotel has a decent selection of shops to choose from for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The breakfast shop is similar to a fusion of Starbucks. The lunch/dinner restaurant at the river walk level has a lot of seafood options. Rooms are very nice; huge TV; spacious bathroom. The beds are slightly firm for myself, but that's the only downside I could find.
Love this beautiful hotel! We were fortunate enough to experience the concierge level where the staff was very cordial and attentive. Ms. Pinky, who was in charge upstairs really knows how to make you feel welcomed. The rooftop pool is nice but can get a bit crowded. I suggest they add shading by furnishing the out door area around the pool with strategically placed umbrellas as the Texas sun can be...
This is such a nice hotel which offers so many amenities. Its right off the river walk and beautiful. However, they give you extreme low pressure shower heads making it really hard to take a shower. The sink would make a loud banging noise and then drop in pressure each time you turned it on and the room was not clean. To look at its amazing, but if you want room comfort with the issues not sure its...
I stayed 5 days solo. It was wonderful and they took good care of me. Everyone was pleasant. They have very good vegetarian food too.I didn't rent a car and was able to walk everywhere. Perfect location at the Riverwalk. They have a light under your bed when you get up. I loved that.

Staff all super friendly and staff at Sweetfire all knowledgeable and doing a great job (especially...
The staff was incredible. They greet you with a smile every time you arrive and want to make sure your stay is perfect. You have a great view no matter where you are, including the drive up to the resort. The golf course is beautiful too!
Very nice place, loved the ambiance and the views. Service from the staff was good to very good, with a glitch or two along the way, but it's hard to be perfect. The resort accommodated a very large wedding at the last minute due to an emergency at the previously booked venue. The pool area was wonderful for the kids and there were numerous areas for our large group to hang out and be together. My...
La Cantera Resort is one of the most enjoyable places you will ever visit. The staff went out of their way to take care of us, and there are so many fun things to do there! We stayed in the Villas, which is a more secluded area of the resort and took advantage of heated pools, the n. gas fire pit, and hot tubs! The only issue we had was that we seemed to be the only people who knew what package we...
My wife and I are on our honeymoon here. The grounds are breathtaking. Our room is well kept, up to date and quite amazing. The staff put a great deal of effort into making sure you are 100% taken care of. Location, staff, and price were on point! They upgraded my room and made my stay super special for my birthday. The breakfast buffet was exceptional and the customer service was outstanding! Hope to go back soon.
Hotel rooms renovated recently which is good. Facilities and sevice are good.
The hotel was nice and visually appealing the rooms were nice but there were a bunch of little inconveniences that really threw off the experience. For example they didn't have parking for my truck I had to park off the hotel that was just a hassle for having to walk to and from the hotel to get to my truck. 2nd the store in the hotel closes really early so you can't get drinks or food whenever you...
Great location above the Riverwalk, convenient to the sights and not noisy. Comfy spacious room, very clean. Pool just okay, good in the heat but outside deck is worn. Very nice restaurant, Tributary, off lobby. Nice staff and easy parking.
Indoor pool and gym were nice. The bathroom door was transparent and emit too much light in the room, the other person couldn't sleep. The balcony had a nice view. The Cafe serves Starbucks drinks which was nice. The microwave was in parking 1 next to laundry room- they should move microwave close to Cafe. Also laundry room has no detergent or dryer sheet. Overall had a good time.
Wonderful holiday with my wife a couple of weeks ago. I haven't been to a hotel with such great customer service and attention to detail in a long time. Whoever manages this property does a great job. Can't say enough about the staff (reception, restaurant, cafe, etc.) and in particular a huge thank you to Kevin and Danielle at the front desk. We loved our weekend escape! My husband and son played golf and I had a spa day, it was wonderful. Only one of the restaurants was open, but the food was great. Can't wait to go again.
Stayed here early November 2020 and it was fantastic! The grounds were beautifully landscaped and everything about the hotels has a real Texas feel to it. This is a family run hotel but as we stayed during the week + COVID it was almost empty and incredibly relaxing. Highly recommend!
What a fantastic get away. Not only is the room beautiful and comfortable, but the service is top notch. The staff is here to make your stay enjoyable and easy which we really appreciate. The grounds are incredibly beautiful (see photos). We LOVED passing by and getting marshmallows for toast every night. Calm and close surroundings with many indoor activities (golf, flow rider, lazy river, water slides, etc.). I will definitely visit again.
Very nice, has the feel of a family home, gorgeous trees, porches, bike paths, wildlife everywhere, pool is quite warm (it was cold the days we were there). The rooms are nice, clean with nice amenities, although our tub didn't drain super well. Was here for a convention my husband was attending and the food was good. Service was phenomenal, staff was professional and friendly.
Stayed three days and two nights over the weekend here, overall it’s a nice hotel! Very clean and friendly staff. The best part about the hotel is the location it is right on the heart of the river walk with amazing views and easy access! Two things that made me give it three stars are : the valet parking was a struggle very long 30 mins plus ! And the elevators were kind of a nightmare very very long...
Great location on the river walk. Very clean and pretty hotel. Great service from everyone. Only two complaints. The shower head is weak and either sprays everywhere or shoots bullets straight at you. The roof top pool is no good for hanging out and bad for kids. It is 4ft deep right at the entrance and quickly goes down to 8ft. Our 7 year old is a decent swimmer but isn't going to be able to tread...
We had a great experience at this Hilton location. We had a few questions before arriving and the staff was very responsive which I appreciated. They also allowed us to check in very early on the day we arrived which was fantastic as it was very hot and we’re not accustomed to the Texas summer; it was nice to have a place to relax mid-day. Israel, with the concierge staff, was very helpful with restaurant...
Great place, right on the riverwalk. They are in the process of remodeling the elevators, but they keep things organized so there is not too much traffic up and down. The service is excellent! The front desk checked on us every day, very nice and polite. Be aware when booking, you can pick either parking included, or breakfast included. You can not do both. The smart choice would be to choose parking...

Cute hotel, right on the river/great location. Comfortable rooms and beds, but could use a bit of refreshing. Nice staff. There’s a self-parking lot across the street for $10 (hotel valet is $38), which is awesome! We would have given it four stars had the cleaning staff not left a dirty wash cloth hanging on the shower head from a previous guest. Gross.
Amazing staff room wasn't ready and we got a free drink at the bar. Good start. Then I was looking for an ice machine and a housekeeper not only told me when the ice machine was, but took the time to get the ice for me! Really impressed. Enjoyed the staff. I see people mention the please is dated, but honestly that is part of the appeal, it has a unique historic character to it. ?
Rooms clean and quaint but dated. ALL personnel were wonderful...polite, courteous, personal, beyond our expectations in accomodating our every need. Valet services were the absolute best..Mickey, Ric, and Dan..Thank YOU! I only wish I had gotten the names of everyone with whom we (5 retired 71+ y.o. R.N's.) had contact. KUDOS TO ALL THE STAFF.

It's a beautiful hotel. We stayed a couple of nights over the weekend. A few of the times we requested ice it would take a very long time to be delivered. Very luxurious! The staff was super accommodating due to the fact that we had booked a room with a tub but walked into a room with a shower. Once we informed the staff, they took care of it in no time. The valet location was a little confusing (admittedly, I am not exactly familiar with valet parking), and the staff was very kind and patient with me. My only regret is that they were not able to...
2 Stars - Just for the ambience and the interiors. This place has quite amazing interiors. 1 Star - For their hospitality! They go a step further to make the guests are comfy! 1 Star - Pool ** Wooohooo! The open top pool is amazing, especially if you can find a full moon night! Beautifully restored hotel. The interiors have been restored beautifully to it's original elegance. Rooms are nicely appointed and the king rooms boast pretty large bathrooms. It's an old hotel, renovated, but I think that was probably 15 years ago. The staff was great; very helpful. The breakfast buffet offers a great selection, including an omelet station. It is next to the river walk, but there isn't any "River activity" here. It's just following water. The restaurants, bars, stores are a few blocks away.
Location is OK. Staff is friendly but isn't knowledgeable about tips on the town.
Attended out office holiday party here. Venue was nice and food was pretty good. No issues except that the drinks were over priced. If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... Nice towels and bedding. Comfortable mattress. The lobby and club rooms are very nice. Club room had good wines and hot breakfast. The location is also great, just 3 minutes walk from the Riverwalk. The rooms are large but in need of an uplift. Furniture and paint look very old. One of the rooms I stayed in had a mild smell. I did not notice it after a while, but definitely did when I walk in.
Rich in history, the hotel itself it's very nice. My room on the fourth floor is furnished nicely. While the hotel is nice and the room has obviously been updated it could use some touch up. We had a room overlooking the plaza and pool. It was great, no real complaints. They have a few peacocks outside that call and make you feel like you're in a jungle. The rooms are clean and nice, and you can walk to the alamo, a mall, and a bunch of random stuff you find as you walk. The only complaint I've heard is that it's a bit loud if you have a room facing the road.
This hotel is awesome if you want a reasonable price and a hotel literally minutes from the River WalkWe were smack in the middle of San Antonio’s art district and loved have the market place so close to us! The hotel itself is historic and so beautiful! They even have a little piece of history with the Victoria house right in the middle of this gorgeous hotel.
The service here was just okay. The decor in the lobby and common areas it's fantastic. The rooms however are not entirely modernized, but nothing to be disappointed over. The outdoor and pool area could use a little sprucing. What a great place! My wife and I staid here for a weekend visit and never left the property. Over all I guess it was a good stay. The hotel was under construction, pools closed, only got 3 towels every day, even though we booked the room for a family of four. Make sure not to bring outside food to their courtyard. We were asked to take our food to the room. You can only eat food in their courtyard that was purchased (way overpriced) at the hotel restaurant. Even though it was already closed...
This is a beautiful hotel with tons of amenities. The grounds were well maintained and i love the sea world theme. From the moment we stepped through the doors to the time we left the customer service was top notch. We didn't get her last name but Anna that works at the front desk was the biggest help during our stay, she was awesome. We definitely want to come back soon.

The most amazing place I've ever stayed at. The staff was pleasant. The rooms were clean and spacious. The restaurant downstairs was amazing. The activities around the hotel were great. I can't say anything bad. I will definitely be a frequent flyer here.
We are staying here with advance notice and all the staff were very friendly. Very clean hotel located in a quiet part of the river embankment. We were placed in a room on the first floor and could not see the embankment. We asked if we could be moved to another room with a better view, and without hesitation the employee made the change, we even got a bigger room. We will definitely stay here again...
I was lucky enough to survive the severe winter storm of February 2021 here. Everyone worked around the clock with a smile on their face, trying to keep us warm, happy and well-fed. The city was closed, literally nothing was open. Even with minimal staff they continued to work. (No one could get to work.) The staff worked all week without breaks. The staff greatly improved a terrible situation. They...
Very nice, but for the price there should have at least been a mini fridge & a microwave. The parking was not free like the site states, and the they did not have a free (Continental ) breakfast option either. The staff was very courteous and attentive to your needs and requests.
I really liked the cleanliness of hotel, staff is friendly, punctual & very accommodating to our needs. The only issues was there is no microwave or fridge in rooms. It was my husband & I first time visiting Texas & will definitely be back.
Staff is very nice. Parking is pretty close but runs about $19 a night. The bed was not really comfortable and I ended up with a sore back the next morning. The heated pool was fun for the kiddos. Overall not bad.

Where do I start? The staff was very friendly and helpful, they even gave us a delicious cookie upon our arrival. Like yes.. please! I most definitely enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean and very spacious. Let me not get started on the beds.... best sleep ever! I always travel to San Antonio with my sister and out of all the hotels we've stayed at, this one has been the best so far!!!
I visited the hotel for a 1 day professional event. I didn't stay overnight. The venue was okay. Audio-visual equipment appeared adequate. The food provided was above average. My only complaint was the temperature. It was extremely cold during the event. I'm not sure why they were running the A/C full blast during winter. I think it's a nice space for a small professional event.

Was on a business trip and stayed here for about 4 days. Stay was excellent, staff was nice and met Tomas, the director of food and beverage, which exceeded my expectations of great service. Jeremy the bartender, provided the best-in class service I've ever experienced. Hotel offers a shuttle to 4 destinations in the city Great, would recommend to anyone coming into the area.
The niceties are the lobby, the breakfast, the bar area, the free shuttle into town and of course the cookies! One of the problems we had was made service when they came at 2:30 and the next day We went down to the lobby at four and ask for just fresh towels and coffee for the next day so that she didn’t have to come in and clean our room. Staying three days it would’ve been nice if the room is clean...

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HoteIRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... The bar was great! It's filled with beautiful hand carved wood, nice cocktails, and a fun little upstairs balcony. The bar is full of history - including Teddy Roosevelt and his rough riders. If your a history buff like met this place is amazing, it is also considered one of the most haunted hotels in the country. However if you want a spacious room or large bathroom with lots of extras you might want to look elsewhere in the area. I loved my stay and will be returning, highly recommended. Great staff, great place, even the spirits are friendly
The hotel is very historic! Our room was nice, clean and with view of the pool. The restroom was a bit small but no biggie. The pool is spacious and hot tub was nice. What I liked the most was the location of the Hotel. Main spots are minutes away from walking distance. The riverwalk is three minutes, the mall is next door, the Alamo is in front, and you have many eating options outside near the hotel...
We've found classic, historical hotels to offer charm, history and often value. The Menger is located next to the Alamo (we could see it from our window). The rooms are old but in great condition and very roomy. The beds are quite comfortable. The Menger has a lively and historic bar as well as a large restaurant. It is within walking distance from everything one would want to see and do in San Antonio

Right in the middle of downtown. Everything is just a walk away, including the Alamo and the mall! The room was located on the victorian side, so don't expect modern looking bathrooms or anything like that. The bed was a bit stiff but surprisingly comfortable. The room itself has beautiful interior decor that puts you in that time era. Overall, a pretty great experience. I'm quite surprised at how...
