Excellent hotel. I have stayed here a few times, and it is in a perfect walking location to visit the sites around Riverwalk.
The suites are spacious, clean, and up-to-date. The beds are comfortable, balconies have great views, and the pool is clean and classy.
The bistro had good coffee and goods, and the bar that was located on the Riverwalk level offered some tasty cocktails.
This is my go-to hotel in this area.

Returned here after an amazing stay over New Year's, yet this trip was horrible. The room was dingy, dark, rundown, and just awful. The shower drain was clogged for the first 2 days we were here even after 4 calls to the manger...pretty disgusting to shower in dirty water. The shower itself had mold all over in it. No apologies, either. The pool area was covered in filthy towels with no clean ones available. The parking fees are insane. We won't return.

Wish we had more time to stay and enjoy all of the amenities. Hotel was beautiful, parking was a little steep at $65/day for a hotel that you are paying to stay at. I feel like they shouldn’t be charging that crazy amount. They also charge 22% for room service fees which is insane! Other than that the hotel was right on the riverwalk and beautiful.

Be aware when spending the extra money for a room with a balcony, I expected more. The balcony was very small and had only 1 chair. It also doesn't guaranty you'll have a good view. We didn't use our balcony at all during our 4 day stay.
I was also disappointed in the room. The fixtures in the bathroom had hard water stains and mildew stained caulking in parts of the shower around the tub giving the bathroom a dirty feeling.
The sliding door to the balcony did not seal closed at the top and there was mold forming on the inside of the frame and upper corner of the glass.
The hotel has two outdoor balcony areas for guests, however additional seating at the river level without having to be part of the Italian restaurant, Zocca would have been much appreciated. If you wanted to relax near the river you needed to pay for something at the restaurant.

My family and I had a great stay! Checked in with no issues. The room was nice and clean. The hotel location is great, had the view of the city, but next time for sure will get the river view. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Will definitely stay here again!

Not worth the expense. Very few options for food and beverage. The elevators were so slow. Not happy with my stay. I expected more from this level hotel.

We stayed at the WestInn during Fiesta. The hotel has easy access to the Riverwalk, very clean, friendly staff, valet was prompt. We enjoyed the pool one afternoon with our 4 year old daughter and we loved it. It’s in the quiete part of the Ribwrwalk but about an 8 minute walk to the busier section. The hotel bar has a good happy hour menu and stays open late. Overall a great experience!

I've stayed at the Marriott Rivercenter, The Element and this Westin... And out of the 3 this hotel shines. I did miss the lounge at the Marriot River center, however, these view are STUNNING 👏🏼. This was the closest I've stayed in the river and the fact that each evening after work I could go out on my balcony and spend time outside and people watch was so much nicer than either of the other two hotels. Also.. I stay at Marriott hotels literally every week for work and I have never experienced pillows like this hotel had. Omgggg 😭 talk about dream-inducing. They were wonderfully thick, not the half-filled down pillows I'm used to with Marriott. The beds are impeccably comfortable and I really just couldn't have been happier with everything. Valet was EXTREMELY fast and polite. Not weird and flirty like over at the element 😂. Would stay here again and again.

Ask questions
People were very friendly. Ask questions so no surprises on valet parking or room. Woke up to no hot water and nothing they would do because I booked 3rd party. Ended the stay without a shower. Disappointed….

If I could give 2.5 stars I would.
I selected The Westin for a weekend getaway wirh my wife with the expectation of a solid experience and I have mixed emotions about the stay.
At first glance, the room was clean and had no issues until I started to uncover things.
1) Trash left where the ironing board and iron were placed
2) Body Wash in the bathroom was not filled and ran out which forced me to go out and purchase on my own.
3) The bathroom sink had a very slow drain as water would just build up which caused issues when doing the basic washing your hands or brushing your teeth.
4) This is probably my biggest gripe. We checked in on Saturday afternoon and on Sunday we left the room around 11 AM to enjoy the riverwalk and festivities. We came back around 245 PM and our room was still not cleaned and no towels were replaced. If I sweat, I would like to take a shower....so that didn't happen and what's worse...housekeeping didn't come until around 515 pm to clean the room. That's very subpar service for a 4 star hotel.
I had high expectations and unfortunately this was not the experience that I paid for or wanted. Very disappointed.
