Residence Inn by Marriott Downtown

It's as if it got a face-lift in 2012 and was forgotten.

Staff - lovely.
Location - lovely.

Room Key - more temperamental and sensitive than a Motel 6 in 2002, be prepared to re-key your cards multiple times. Nice hotels upgraded long ago.
A/C - A tower station your room, works, INCREDIBLY loud.
TV - 45 second lag on power? Barely working, almost unusable, management knows of the issue
Internet - Difficult to load even a YouTube video.
Shower - Drains slower than the water
Water - very hard, tastes terrible.
Even the beside lamp didn't work, some electrical or wiring issue.

Over $300 a night including parking, I'm immensely disappointed. From other reviews, management knows and chooses inaction. Spend your money elsewhere!

Hotel is located near the water but you won’t see or enjoy it if the staff puts you in the rooms in the rear of the hotel facing the train tracks. Then you get the pleasure of hearing not one but two sets of trains running all day and night.

And when you rent two rooms for your family, the staff think it’s convenient if they put them on different floors.

You would think that when you pay over $400 per room you would get better service.

Parking is also $40 per day so enjoy that as well.

And the internet is horrible. Even when you pay for the upgraded version. Incredibly convenient if you’re trying to catch up on work.

Staying here was a huge mistake. Never again. I seriously have no idea how this is a Marriott property. Rooms are run down, mold in every corner of the bathroom, and a manager that has the same lame excuse for every negative review on google. He is reviewing it with his operations team. Wow. Must be a long review process. Been saying this for years.
